I used CTFD recently to redo all the floors in my home (engineered wood & carpet). I worked with Dave and Nathan at the Fairmount Avenue location and they were very helpful and I am very pleased with my newly installed floors! Dave helped me with every step along the way, from finding the best quality items within my budget, getting everything ordered and installed in my timeline, pushing back the timeline (upon my request) because other contractors weren’t finished in the house, and working through several small problems that cropped up along the way. They really had first-​rate customer service and my floors look great!

Warning: Do not purchase their service. At first you might think the place is great because it looks like a good place to buy materials for your home projects, but once you get the service work done it is a nightmare. We hired the company to sand down our hardwood floors and stain them, install lament in our bathroom, kitchen, & bedroom, and install marble countertops and a stainless steel sink in the kitchen. We told them that just bought a new home and was in the transition to move from our condo into the house. We were told that the project would start in two weeks and would take and additional two weeks to be completed. Here are the reason why I was extremely disappointed: 1) I’m 100% positive that the workers do not have papers to work in the U.S.A. Their workmanship was terrible and they did not speak English so they could not communicate. 2) The lament is pealing up off our floor a year later. 3.) We voiced our concerns to the manager/​owner and he kept making excuses and reasons why we were wrong 4) The bathroom tile has stains from the chemical used to stain the wood floor which I still cannot take off, and the manager insisted that it wasn’t a big deal and it could be taken off. 5) The wood floors has cuts, circular rotation marks from sanding too deeply, and brush hairs stuck to the floors. 6) The manager/​owner said it would go away a year later it’s still here! He is a liar. 7) They took a month longer than their promised completion date. So we had to sleep on the cold floor of one of the rooms in the new house with the smell of chemicals from the on going work. 8) The tile in the kitchen had a huge lump. 9) They provided a cheap «stainless» steel sink that does rust. 10) The sink is not flush with the countertops 11) The first countertop was not cut properly so it cracked and they tried to put it in anyway. 12) A month past by and they still did not send us a final invoice so we had to continuously call for two weeks until we could put an end to the nightmare. 13) The employees admitted that the place of business is not good. Needless to say, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please stay away for your own good.

I had a good experience with this company. My refrigerator icemaker malfunctioned and damaged part of my kitchen floor. Sales associate Dave Thomas helped me pick out the proper flooring, and the installer, Alex, did a fine job repairing the damaged areas and installing the new tile. The floor looks great, and the price was reasonable. Dave Thomas was very responsive throughout the process.

I was referred to Pro Flooring by one of the larger chain store because I needed a job done VERY quickly. New tenants had already moved into one of our rentals but the pet smell from the previous tenant had RETURNED despite a good carpet cleaning. Nathan was friendly, super helpful with my carpet selection, and promised me a job well done and on time. And it was. My carpet was installed within two days of me first entering their shop, Nathan got me the exact install date and time I needed, and the job was done very well. I was super impressed. I maintained almost round-​the-​clock communication with Nathan to ensure that we did not have any problems or surprises. He was always gracious and helpful. The carpet looks great, the new tenants are happy, and Nathan should take credit for this very satisfied customer.

It is easiest to compare contractors when a bunch come by within a sort period of time, like when moving into a new house. Of all of the contractors that have worked on our new home since we’ve moved in, none have been better at their jobs than those associated with this flooring shop. Carpet and tile were installed, rapidly and professionally. And, of course, this came after the process of selecting flooring in the showroom, which went smoothly and without any pressure from salespeople. Instead, everyone there was helpful, friendly, and professional. You want to work with these pros.

I would not do business at this location again.
I purchased tile from this location and told them it was critical I receive the product by a certain timeframe. Needless to say the timeline wasn’t met and they conveyed four different times during the same day. I had to take an additional day off of work and hire a contractor for an additional day.
Over the several different employees I spoke too, they all seem to say something different. Poor communication. I complained to the manager but he didn’t seem to care.
A few tiles were broken, but I had enough for the job so I choose not to return them. I did like the product and they had a nice selection.

I had an appointment scheduled to have my home measured for new flooring. Less than an hour before the appointment I spoke with someone who identified themselves as the manager of the store (Nathan). He asked me to reschedule to a weekday but no later than 5PM. This makes it incredibly difficult to accommodate with work. This is why I booked an appointment on the weekend. I expressed my complete disappointment with the lack of consideration and inflexibility with rescheduling. I was then told by Nathan that if I didn’t like it I can go with someone else… which is exactly what I am going to do. Don’t waste another second considering this company because its management is unapologetic, inflexible, and unprofessional.

I am so annoyed with this company! we had bought flooring from them before and had a good experience. So when we decided to remodel our kitchen we thought we would give them a shot.
They sent a guy out on a Saturday to meet with us to review what we wanted. he was in our house for a grand total of five minutes, took some pictures and said he would be in touch with a quote. Didn’t ask a single question about what we were thinking, what our plans were, nothing.
Fast forward three weeks. We have not heard from them, so I place a call to the office asking what happened. They put me on hold for 30 minutes, told me that they couldn’t find my paperwork and rather than keeping me on hold, they would call back.
That was over a week ago and I still haven’t heard anything from them.
Needless to say they lost our business.
Too bad– becuase our house needs a lot of remodeling!

I had them put down carpet, hard wood and tile in my house. I liked their materials — good quality for a good price. The initial installation was quick and everything looks great.
My frustration came with the poor communication I experienced with the employees and their contractors who actually installed the material. After explaining at length (and multiple times) where and how I wanted stuff installed, things were still done incorrectly. Different employees would call me with the same questions, and every time I spoke with someone I kept having to repeat myself over and over again. When I came home after the installation, I saw that they didn’t lie the tile diagonally as requested, and they put carpet in my closets instead of the requested hard wood. I asked them to fix the tile to the way I requested it (we paid a lot of $$ and I wanted it done the way we wanted!) and it took them weeks to come back and fix it. Next time I will probably try some place else.

Bought laminate flooring from them. I gave them the square feet and they told me how much to order. I ended up with three cartons left over. They wouldn’t take them back because it was over 30 days. Home Depot and Lowes take returns — no questions asked. I would stick with them and not do business with Pro Flooring. They oversold and wouldn’t make it right for the customer.

Kitchen quartz and marble countertop selection is excellant. I researched a dozen stores for the Silestone Quartz kitchen countertops and a select slab of unique marble for the Island for my new kitchen. Salesman, Nathan, was attentive and remember me everytime (and it was alot) I went in and called. He quoted me $ 1, 600 LESS than Home Depot and even more from my own Contractors «Discount» price. Any even more important I had the exact material installed Five days from my placing my order (including over a weekend). Tony, was very professional and informative at my home to create the Templates. He even called to inform my Contractor on how to properly install my Farmhouse Sink. Tony created a beautiful, unique edging around the sink that I have had numerous compliments on.

This place just makes everything easy! This was my 1^st time doing any kind of home improvement so I was a little nervous. My GF and I walked in and was met by Mark right away. We told him we were looking for laminate flooring and he showed us a LOT of options! No pushing and was very patient as my GF can be picky! :) We took a few samples home and 3 weeks later we have a new beautiful floor! The installers were simply fantastic and took less than 3 days! Kudos to Mark and his team! I highly recommend this store for any kind of flooring !
