Camo Party Bus

I heard about camo party bus through some friends from UCSD and decided it was reasonably priced and a good idea to take for my 23^rd birthday celebration. The plan was to get around 30 of my friends picked up from my house and driven downtown to the Club Ivy.
The bus picked us up promptly at 9:30pm which we requested and was spotless having the windows, seats, stripper pole, and handrails shining like new. There were two big 100 gallon barrels in the bus filled with ice to provide us the opportunity to keep the drinking fest alive and well inside the bus. This was huge for us because we had multiple handles of vodka that needed to be consumed and the Camo Party Bus was the perfect spot to do so.
Once all of my friends and me boarded the bus, the driver greeted us with a big smile and told us he was there for us with whatever request we desired. That said we turned up the radio and the party began! Drinking and socializing were in full force as we headed down the 5 freeway into downtown. It seemed like 5 minutes till we were in downtown because we were having so much fun. We got off the bus and headed into our free entry into Ivy.
Although Ivy was one of the most exciting clubs I have been to downtown, our whole group could not wait to get back on the Camo Party Bus and start the party over again there. The feeling of drinking and partying with your friends while swaying back and forth on the road is a feeling I can’t wait to have again. Thank you so much Camo Party Bus for an amazing time and I can’t wait for my next voyage with you. To Brook, the owner, keep up the good work and we will see again on another trip!

When you start strong with a few rounds of mimosas at 12pm and then attend an open bar wedding reception immediately after, if you think that hopping on a party bus at 9:30pm sounds like a terrible idea, well… you’d be wrong.
In great spirits, with my belly full of champagne and tequila shots, I was ready to confront Saturday night. Upon my friend’s invite, a group of us hopped onto the Camo Party Bus, which was awesome enough to pick us up at the reception venue. Win!
As we got on, I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean bus and 2 huge gallon drums full of ice for beverages. I’ve been on 2 other party buses before, and though your standards for cleanliness decrease when you’re drunk (take this from someone who makes people take off their shoes upon entering her apartment yet has passed out on a city sidewalk after a bar crawl), this bus was legitimately clean.
As we picked up more people from the next stop, the party continued. Here are some of the other highlights from the night and why I gave Camo Party Bus 5 stars:
1. Stripper pole — For those of you who know me well, contrary to popular belief, I did not actually dance on the pole, but the sheer novelty of it is hilariously entertaining. Given that I hopped on a bus with several people I didn’t know, there is one thing I learned: stripper poles make for a hell of an ice breaker.
2. Driver — The 1^st party bus I ever went on, we hit the wall of the Treasure Island on ramp up in SF, and they had to swap the bus midway through the night. The 2^nd party bus I went on, when we arrived at our last stop, my friend took a painful trip to VomTown. That being said, despite having to drive a bus full of rowdy drunks and their inability to control the volume of their voice on top of blaring music, I give mad props to a driver that can (a) get us back and forth safely, and (b) drive well enough so that no one gets car sick.
3. Stereo — Good sound system! There’s a radio, but if you have an mp3 player, you can plug it in and blast your favorite tunes. Like «Party in the USA.» Just kidding… kinda.
4. Comfortable seating — The seats are made of cloth, and there are 2 long rows of seats on either side, facing each other, with a short row at the back of the bus facing forward. I love this setup because it’s really conducive for socializing.
5. Reasonable rates — Great value, especially for some of the novelties and perks that you get, which I mentioned above.
I was lucky enough to talk to the owner, Brook, who was actually on the bus with us, at one of the stops. He is awesome to talk with, and from one short conversation, you can tell that he really has a lot of passion for the business and making his customers happy, which is always really refreshing. The type of business where you meet the owner and you’re like, «Damn, I like what he stands for and I hope he rocks it!» (And this conversation took place without me dropping the « Unilocal Elite» bomb so it was definitely genuine.)
While Sunday was met with an utterance of, «Uggggggh…was I actually on a bus, or did I just get hit by one?», it’s code for «Despite how crappy I feel today, it was totally worth it, and I’m stoked for my next Camo Party Bus adventure!»

This is definitely the gangster way to go to a show. This is how it went down.
Slightly Stoopid in Chula Vista:
I found an ad on Craigslist for a party bus that needed to fill up a few extra spots at $ 25 round trip. I’m in. I talked to Brook, the owner of the bus and he reserved 4 spots for us… kinda.
We get on the bus, and it’s packed. Like really packed. Less than standing room only.
A bunch of randoms on the bus all partying together. It was a pretty good vibe for the whole night… but this could have gone way wrong…
On the return trip, people were falling down when the bus hit its brakes. People were puking on the floor, and the alcohol took affect on the randoms and there was a little bit of instigation… nothing happened because cooler heads prevailed.
It was worth the price and I had a good time. I would use them again as a rock bottom party bus price.

I have taken the Camo Party Bus twice in the last month. Each time we went Temecula wine tasting and it was a blast! The bus holds 30 people comfortably, has a great sound system, and the driver was great! The stripper pole was a hit by the end of the trip. I will use them anytime I want to bar hop or a bachelor party.
