I made an appointment was in and out within 30 minutes and I came an hour earlier than my appt time. Doctor was very pleasant and so was the rest of the staff. Awesome artwork on the walls that were done by a staff member. I was skeptical at first and nervous, but was referred to by a friend who is also a patient. They take walk ins as well, but the appt time does speed up the process.

Friendly staff and great price for the visit. Parking situation needs help. That being said, I will he going back, count on that!

CalMed421 Prices: $ 40 for new patients, $ 35 for renewal
It’s totally legit, there’s no tricks or scams, the price is 100% set.
It does seem a little sketchy that’s there’s only folding chairs for a waiting room and the «clerks», who are super awesome and very nice, use old laptops for their work. But they do also have really pretty artwork. The office itself is a little difficult to find and parking is a little strange to find but otherwise walking to it is no biggie.
I did a walk in appointment and the front desk girl just had me sign in my name, how I found this place, number, and etc. Then gave me a packet of paper to fill out (Why you need it, what conditions you have, general physician info, etc) and then I gave it back to her and waited about a good 30−45~ minutes till I got called to the doctor.
The doctor I had was really nice and very informative! He didn’t make me feel awkward or have any form of negative attitude to me. The whole process itself was very quick, harmless, and easy.
I’m definitely going to come back in a year!
Also little tidbit I went to a dispensary later that day and found of that many of the shop clerks there went to CalMed as well pretty cool.

I was quite nervous going into this office as it was my first time but the lady with the bright pink hair was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. They got me in as promptly as they could since I was just a walk in and did not make an appointment but it went by quick!
The facility is clean and tidy. the whole staff was very kind and helpful with my questions. I had Mr Smith whom I actually really liked. He was straight forward and really gave me some great recommendations for my medical condition and was honest with me which I greatly appreciated. I did not feel rushed at all and that is/​was important to me.
I will definitely be coming back to renew and will tell all my friends and family about CalMed 421. I appreciate the staff very much for making me feel so at ease and for just being good people who are actually trying to help me.

Long story short, if you get dr. smith the old white guy please request a different Doctor like dr Jean murrat dr smith is the worst Doctor I have ever encountered! Luckily thanks to the young lady’s up front they were able to help me out and I walked out content. But oh god please take dr smith out of there!

Sympathetic doctors and staff. The office was crowded but they saw me quickly. Great people.

This was my first experience at a medical marijuana clinic. I was referred to this place by a coworker & was told that everyone there is friendly & easygoing & that it would probably be no problem for me to get my recommendation. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful, but the other workers I interacted with were apathetic at best. One man calls you over, has you sit outside the 2 consultation rooms, & takes your blood pressure. His attitude wasn’t the worst I saw at that place, but he didn’t seem too enthusiastic about his job either. Now, the doctor that was in the office when I was there was Dr. Smith. While I was waiting for them to call me into the consultation room, I saw Dr. Smith quickly walking back & forth from the rooms between clients every 3 – 5 minutes with the most angry «I hate my job» expression on his face. When it was my turn to speak with him, he immediately made me feel extremely nervous and intimidated. He spoke with a sort of contempt & irritation in his voice, & you could definitely see it in his eyes. He seemed a little dubious about my reasoning for wanting a doctor’s recommendation (migraines & bad menstrual cramps), yet he gave it to me anyway. It was nice that I didn’t need to have any documentation of my conditions & he seemed to just give me my recommendation regardless of whether he thought my conditions were valid or not, but this was a really horrible experience. I can honestly say that I’ve never been made to feel so uncomfortable by a man before in my life. If you go, bring documentation if you can & hope you don’t get Dr. Smith.

I was a first timer and completely intimidated by going inside but I finally did it. I just walked in and they made me feel comfortable from the moment I came in. Lots of seating, even though it was full of people. It was Halloween day and they had everything decorated and we’re playing spooky music. I was there for about an hour total. The doctor was soft spoken and friendly, also very thorough. I was very happy with my experience there.

This was my first time visit to a clinic to obtain a permit. I chose Dr. Jean Murat because I knew her in our community as being an excellent physician. I was very pleased with the entire visit. She was very thorough with the questions she asked me regarding my chronic back pain, general health, and medications I was taking. I would highly recommend going to this clinic.

In and out fast, the lady actually was quite inspiring.

This is my second time at this clinic my first experience has been very similar to my first experience with great customer, a/​c, comfortable chairs and a process I don’t mind at all.

Very professional staff and comfortable atmosphere characterize this place. I was a walk in customer and was served in a quick and helpful way to the doctors office. The doctor was very kind and compassionate. The cost to renew was within reason and The rest of the people there that day were a mix of young and old. They all appeared to be having as good an experience as I was. I will be returning to this place next year.

Super professional and friendly staff. It was an extremely easy process. The wait however, was a little long if you are a walk in, but understandable because there was quite a few people waiting for one doctor. So make sure you have spare time to see the doctor. I did not need my physicians recommendation. Make sure you bring your ID (common sense).

I was pretty impressed by the professionalism of the staff, and how easy the application process was. Keep in mind they have an actual physician that you speak with for a referral. I was so happy to get not only an alternative form of medication (after being put on heavy pain management medication) but as well as more recommendations on how to deal with back injury and keep matters from worsening. 4 stars because i hope they are able to update their office a little more and parking is a pain, but worth it nonetheless.

Staff was awesome, my girlfriend was in and out if there really fast. Great service and very happy with my visit. More informative than most places I’ve been so I was pleased with that.

Quick and easy. Super friendly staff. You can make an appointment but we’ve just always done drop in. Came for my original recommendation and now for my renewal. Best prices and you actually get to speak with a Dr not Skype with one. They offer the wallet sized copy if you really want one.

Besides the run down interior of this place, the staff makes up for it :) As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist and they took me in even though I had an out of state ID (Just show leasing agreement). Pretty quick and simple process, and waited less than 30 minutes with no appointment. This place is a lot cheaper than most places I’ve looked at ($ 40 for new patients) and I’m glad I came in! Will definitely be coming back here for my renewal.

I’ve always been treated well. Always very friendly respectful staff. Dr. Carolle is my gal I missed her today but I got Dr Clark who is very nice and compassionate and offered welcoming advice for my condition. I love the new location it’s much more cheerful and the artwork is very cool. $ 30 for a renewal.
I called ahead but was told no appointment was necessary. I walked in and was seen within 5 minutes. The whole process took 25 minutes mainly because of the medical developments that I had within the last year that I had to go over with the Doc.
I think the 1 star people must have been the problem. I was shocked and worried when i read the reviews recently. I was afraid there would be a problem but their wasn’t. It was just a great experience as with all the other years I have been coming.
