California’s Auto Glass

This place went above and beyond to help us out. Driving to work, our back window completely shattered out of nowhere. We couldn’t get to a repair shop before 4 PM and we called EVERYWHERE to try and get a same day repair. Nobody could do it. We told these guys we had work and school all week and would not be able to get the window fixed for at least a week if it could not be repaired today.
They immediately called their associate who personally drove the replacement window to their store and squeezed us in at the end of the day. They even stayed late to finish. It looked perfect and the service they provided was way more than we could ever have asked for.
EXCELLENT service, friendly workers, and incredibly helpful. We would never go anywhere else.

I got a fix-​it ticket for a cracked windshield a couple of weeks ago, so I HAD to get it fixed quickly or pay fines. I’m in-​between jobs so the last thing I need is a costly repair bill. I called up 5 different places and Carlos had the best price in town and was right down the street. In less than an hour my windshield was as good as new and I was off to the court-​house to wipe out the ticket. No upsells, no BS, just what I needed.

These guys awesome, I was traveling and my window glass broke by mistake, and I called many glass companies to fix my window at the same day coz I’m traveling and in emergency. Alejandro installed the window glass within less than 20 minutes! I recommend them to everyone.

Scheduled an appointment with California’s Auto Glass, living in San Diego’s merciless sun, I’ve decided my windows need tinting! I got a quote for my 2010 Toyota Prius for all windows at $ 195. I wanted them as dark as legally possible and asked how dark they can get it… he said it was no problem. He was able to put me in on same day (today)… he seemed informative of the material he uses and says that there is a lifetime warranty if the tinting should bubble up. So first impression is good, I will update when the job is done.
Update: The shop itself seemed out of place but they did a great job on my car! The ladies pulling up behind my car and started working was a bit of a surprise especially since I thought they were customers at first! He was going to do all my windows the same black shade as requested at 5% but after I looked up some things (fee for illegal tint in Cali is going up if caught!) and a friend suggested to not have the front be as dark as the back. I informed him of my new choice and he obliged and told me how cops would stop me if it was that dark (seemed a moment before he was willing to tint them all that dark). I was a bit disappointed that the windshield didn’t get tinted… apparently that is a bit harder to do and requires it to be removed which I can understand. Overall I would recommend this place, after all it’s not about how the shop looks but rather the quality of work they do and as far as I can tell, they did a fine job!

I’ve been using California Auto Glass for a long time. They have changed the windshield on all of my 4 cars. I always research to see if i can find a better price and obviously the answer is no and they do a great job anyways, so I highly recommend them!
