Oh my goodness, I can’t recommend Brett and Emily highly enough — they are amazing photographers and so so so wonderful to work with. We just received our beautiful wedding pictures for our June 21^st Sacramento wedding and we love them — every picture is beautiful and Brett and Emily captured everything perfectly. I knew how beautiful the pictures would be from looking through their past work, but I had no idea how much fun Brett and Emily would be to work with! I want to have another wedding just so they can come as guests — they were seriously a blast. They were organized, thoughtful, and kept us (and our whole families) laughing — basically exactly what you’d need if you’re anxious before your wedding. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and had great crowd control with big group pictures. Brett and Emily were the best choice we made in our wedding planning — I’d recommend them as photographers to anyone!

We recently had Brett and Emily for our engagement and wedding photos. They were our favorite vendor to work with. Not only were they extremely responsive, they are very talented. Being from Arizona, they made the process so smooth and kept everything on time during the wedding itself. We cannot recommend them enough, everyone is raving about our photos!

We used Brett and Emily for not only our engagement photos, wedding photos, but also our maternity photos! :) They are the most amazing and professional photographers out there! We found Brett and Emily through a recommendation from our wedding planner. We knew they were the right ones to capture our special day the minute we sat down and talked with them at their home. Emily and I even share a love for Toms. Our engagement shoot was great. I am not very comfortable in front of the camera and have never thought of myself as photogenic, but they worked magic. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement photos. Brett is so creative with such a great eye and Emily knows how to make you look your absolute best and has amazing attention to detail. A minute into our session we felt so comfortable with them. We were also very pleased with our wedding photos. Although there was a little issue, they kept us informed the whole time and were very professional. We are very grateful to have had them as our photographers.

The pictures were fabulous and everything we expected! They caught everything we wanted and with such a great artsy take in it.

I found Brett and Emily at the Bridal Bizarre in downtown San Diego and fell pretty much in love with them immediately! Not only are they a husband and wife duo who take gorgeous pictures, but their reasonable price included engagement photos, a photo booth for the wedding, and an album! Neither my husband nor I like our picture taken and so getting to know Brett and Emily during our engagement session was so great and they really relaxed us.
They were absolutely amazing on our wedding day making sure our photos were the mix of artistic and modern we wanted, and «photos mom would love.»
The photo booth was so much fun and definitely provided us with some laughs and memories when the pictures came.

One of my best friends had Brett & Emily photograph her wedding a couple years ago and I loved their funky, artistic style so much that they were the very first vendor I hired when I got engaged last year. An engagement session and a wedding later, I am still just as impressed with this team!
Not only are Brett and Emily super fun and easy to work with, but they take AWESOME photographs. They take the time to really get an idea of what kind of vibe you’re going for in your engagement, and even wedding photos. They will then take the time to actively seek out locations/​photo opps to achieve that effect. For us, we wanted a rustic/​middle of nowhere look to our photos and the result is exactly that.
On top of being a total blast to have all around snapping a lens at you for 9 hours on your big day, Brett & Emily handle all of the timing details that will range from getting the bride and groom ready, getting your wedding party ready, getting all of you to the venue, etc. They did an excellent job of keeping everything moving along in the hours preceding our ceremony. It was really nice to have someone else thinking about these details, so that bridezilla (me) and groomzilla could enjoy those special moments that come even before your wedding has started (first look, bride w/​her mother, bride w/​her bridesmaids, groom with groomsmen, etc).
Brett & Emily are so full of talent, it’s ridiculous. They are also complete professionals in terms of communicating with you in the months and days leading up to your wedding, working with you to prepare a timeline, providing you with your photos soon after each shoot (engagement/​wedding), and providing print options for ordering your faves. In short, Brett & Emily rock!

Brett & Emily photographed our wedding in Coronado this past August. This was a destination wedding for us so it was difficult getting everything organized from a far. Brett & Emily were amazing at helping with the details. They responded to my emails within hours and were so thoughtful and patient with all my questions. Emily helped me a ton with my timeline and even laced up my dress for me! Needless to say, on the day of they were AMAZING! They captured every moment of our special day in a way we never thought imaginable… and were a blast to be around which was an added bonus. So many of our guests told us afterwards that they were so impressed with them and that they never stopped capturing our day from the first minute to the very last second of the reception. We’ll cherish these photos forever and are SO HAPPY we found them!

Emily and Brett did my wedding last summer and they were amazing. I absolutely love the photos they took and had a great experience with them. I am one of the few of my friends to get married so I really had no idea what I was doing. I was so surprised at how much they assisted me along with taking pictures on my wedding day. Emily even helped re-​curl my hair as it all fell after the pre-​wedding shots. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for sure when we have kids and want to do maternity and family shots.

Emily and Brett photographed our daughters wedding last August. They were so wonderful to work with. It was so great to have a couple working since they each were able to take pictures from their individual perspectives. Frankly, I barely noticed they were at the wedding. they were so unobtrusive but managed to capture all the details. Everytime I look at the photos I smile and it brings back such wonderful memeories. Of course my daughter and her new husband were totally delighted with Emily and Brett. What wonderful photographers and wonderful people! We got married last winter in Lake Tahoe but wanted to chose a local photographer so that we could do engagement photos in San Diego. We are so glad we did because our engagement photos were so fun and Brett & Emily made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We couldn’t wait for them to be a part of the wedding. They kept us calm and laughing during the portrait sessions and did such an amazing job capturing everything that was going on. We also had their photobooth at the reception and this was a huge hit! At one point all our guests were gathered around the photobooth dancing and waiting their turn. All the photos turned out amazing, we get compliments all the time on how beautiful they are. I am still struggling to chose which prints to order since I love them all!!!
I highly recommend Brett & Emily. They make the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable and in the end you have the most beautiful photos that perfectly encompass that special day.

ENGAGEMENT + WEDDING:
Our favorite thing about Brett and Emily is that they are good listeners. Listening enabled them to genuinely capture our story. The images from both our engagement shoot and our wedding reflect the heart of who we are as a couple. Therefore, their images serve as the centerpiece for remembering and sharing our wedding day with our loved ones. Not only are Brett and Emily creative storytellers, they are also easy to work with. They are engaging, responsive, and professional. I recommend them to anyone looking to have their story told.
BOUDOIR:
At first, I was petrified to do a boudoir shoot! Get naked in front of a stranger? No, thanks! However, Emily is the kind of person who immediately feels like a friend. She listened to all my thoughts and concerns-​shooting me in a way that honored my style and personality. When I got the photos back, I thought, «Wow! I look hot!» I gave the images from my shoot to my husband as a present. When I gave them to him, he replied in shock, «This is literally the most amazing thing I can possibly imagine.» Now, I want to do a boudoir once a year!
