Bosnian Grill & Mediterranean Cuisine

Caveat: this review is strictly based on a single negative experience and not on food.
After waiting approximately 15 minutes in the hot sun, it was our turn to order at the window. I recall seeing someone leave earlier but didn’t think much of it at the time until we were told they did not have cevapi, the signature dish and allegedly the best and only thing that should be ordered (others had warned us that the gyro wasn’t very good but the cevapi dish is great). The employee we encountered was quite curt and became clearly annoyed that we no longer wished to order anything. At no time did anyone say they had run out of food. At no time did anyone take down the sign or put up some kind of notice to us hungry, sweating, saps cued up to order. Yes, this is a food truck but it’s still a business, a business that relies on customers like us who are willing to pay (albeit inflated prices) for something a little out of the ordinary in San Diego. Too bad there was a complete lack of common courtesy (and common business sense), we were looking forward to trying this place.

Great little food truck — got the Cevapi and Gyro sandwiches. Pitas were warm and perfectly crisp, tahini and garlic sauce were delicious (flavorful without being over-​powering). Nice humans, definitely stop here when you find it!

The Cevapi here are absolutely fantastic, just like in Sarajevo. I absolutely have been craving some Cevapi for months and the truth is that no matter how good you think their Gyros are, Cevapi are better, more delicious and probably more food. Not to mention, these guys spent their entire lives making Cevapi, so go, get some Cevapi, you won’t regret it. Its worth every bite and I wish I had more time to enjoy it than I did today.

Really good food and fast friendly service. The hot dogs are great. Skip Am Pm and the Chevron station, this is the place to get good old fashion hot dogs.

Wonderful and authentic. Not fancy but really good! My daughter spent the summer in Bosnia and Turkey and has been Jonesing for some Cevapi, a Bosnian staple, ever since. We found this place, trailer actually, and it was perfect. When he found out about our reason for being there he really went above and beyond to make sure that it was just what she wanted!
