I’ve been coming to Bond’s for some 14 years, and they are the Best. We have 3 cars, one old with lots of miles. The other cars are newer and they all get first rate service, (as do we). Mike and everyone there is really nice and take the time to explain things in a clear way. It’s great to trust the people caring for your cars!

We have used Bonds Automotive for years. It has been so convenient because they are a half a block from our business. But yesterday, one of our cars got stranded closer to our home which is on the other side of town. Bond’s so honest, so affordable, and so good that we decided to pay the extra to have our car towed out to them. They even gave us a car (At no charge to us) to tie us over until the next day. Best auto repair ever. Nice people, super super honest people, and they go the extra mile in their customer service.

Live in the area and had a dead battery. So I searched «road side service» and Bonds was the closest thing. Asked for a jump and they were there within 10 min. Didn’t even expect payment. This place is good people.

I recently bought an older commuter car that I saw a lot of potential in. It was pretty much a disposable car — in case it turned out to be a lemon, not much money would have been lost. Unfortunately, Firestone got their greedy hands on it and screwed me over bad. Since Bond’s was so close, I thought I would get one last opinion before I considered disposing of the car. I was right, the car does have potential! They completely fixed Firestone’s mistakes, and found little items Firestone missed and fixed those as well. Margaret at the counter is the person who I’ve dealt with — she really seems to know cars and is great to talk with. There’s plenty to screw me over with on this car, but they seem to know what’s worth it and what’s not. Did I find a place with ethics? I think so. Great place.

A friend recommended Bond’s to me after my car died leaving work after a night shift. AAA towed me there and Bond’s saw me immediately. They were quick to notice that AAA had damaged my oil pain while towing and made sure to call and advocate for me so that I did not have to pay a cent for that repair. They were able to fix the original fuel pump problem and oil pan damage in a few hours and even provided a ride to and from my house so I could get some sleep and pick up my car after. Extremely fast service, great customer service. Worked with Margaret who was fantastic. Very polite, explained everything very well to me and made sure that I was taken care of. I will be returning here if I ever have car issues again.

Bond’s was pretty alright! They fit me in immediately, and even gave me a bit of a discount on the work, which I really appreciated since it was such a sudden, expensive fix and they kind of knew I was in a bind. At times I felt the customer service was a bit abrasive, but the women were lovely.

I’ve been a full time F-​18 jet engine mechanic for over 15 years, and a DIY car + motorcycle mechanic at home. I generally repair and maintain my vehicles on my own, but if there are issues with my vehicles that I can’t fix, the Bond’s Automotive is the only shop I will pay to work on my car.

This place is amazing. They always fit me in on very short notice & they always accommodate you to the best they can. Their mechanics are great & they know what they’re doing. The service is fast. The place is very clean. The prices are right. I highly recommend taking your car here. They are very loyal & trustworthy. They never try to get money out of you. My boyfriends family have been taking their cars to Bond’s forever so when my car starting making a weird sound after being driven from San Jose they suggested I take it there.
My car has been nothing but a pain since I bought it, and having someone we trust was very important to me. My boyfriends father gave them a call on Friday and they said that we could bring it right over. Being longtime patrons, I think we got a little bit of special treatment. Tim was able to look at my car right away, but of course it wasn’t making the sound at the time. He drove it around and was able to duplicate the sound. He brought it into the shop and had three guys looking at the mini trying to locate the sound. They put it on the raisers and were able to locate the offender. The car needed a new power steering cooling fan, they even brought me out and under the car so I could see what was going on, which I found really neat.
Tim was able to locate the part and have it delivered by the mini cooper dealership later that same afternoon. They had my car fixed the same day, which was amazing since we were driving back to San Jose the next day.
They were so helpful and I can’t thank them enough. Thanks for making the most out of a stressful situation!

My friend Rayleen referred me to Bond’s Automotive recently and I have to say I was impressed with their honesty and service, by letting me know my fuel pump wasn’t bad and only needed to replace the relay. in other words saving me a couple of hundred bucks. They even gave me a courtesy ride from work to pick up my car. Needless to say they have my business from here on now, and I would gladly refer anyone with car problems to go to Bond’s Automotive without a doubt.

So this week, I received a text from the Owner at Bond’s apologizing and admitting that they dropped the ball on this. He asked me what he could do to make it up to me. This was good timing because I unfortunately just got hit AGAIN when I was parked the other day. Not a ton of damage but something I have to get taken care of. I appreciated the apology and thought maybe I was a little too harsh on them so I texted him back telling him about this. And yup. No response. I certainly was not too harsh on them as it turns out. I never thought I’d say that I hope a company goes out of business but if this one does, that will just mean more for the collision shops that actually care about their customers.

Bonds Automotive gets you in and out quickly for the errand we all dread doing, getting our car maintained. Don’t worry, there are plenty of magazine varieties to pass the time while you’re inside waiting as well. Bond’s also does a great job of not being one of those seedy auto places that make you feel victimized and awkward coming in as a lady client… respectful bunch of guys for sure with reasonable prices.

My wife and I were visiting friends down in SD awhile back and our Accord started having some issues. Our friend recommended this place and we couldn’t have been happier with the service, the tech that worked on our car… the whole experience was very positive.
We unfortunately don’t live in the area was it was really nice to be able to go to a place like this… man does it show when effort is put forth.
