Bob is terrific: I was worried that Rolfing would be too painful, so I avoided it for years, but Bob is strong but rarely induces any pain I can’t handle. My body feels better after working with him and I will continue to do so.

I’m a relatively competitive tennis player, and as I grow older, I’ve noticed that my body experiences bouts of pain and stiffness in my neck and lower back as a result of running down balls, twisting my body as I serve, etc. Anyways, I tried in vain to get weekly massages to reduce the inflammation and soreness in my two most prominent problem areas. I’ve also tried yoga to become more flexible and reduce my pain as well. Lucky for me, I finally tried Rolfing, and I chose Bob Craven to be My Rolfer. I first went to Bob 5 years ago to treat the crick in my neck. To my surprise and delight, Bob’s deep tissue Rolfing approach loosened up my chronic neck pain in a matter of 6 – 8 weeks. As a matter of fact, my neck pain has never returned since way back when. More recently, I’ve been struggling with lower back pain. I decided to see Bob again, and lo and behold my lower back pain is diminishing more and more as I’ve been seeing Bob weekly for the last month. Rolfing Is much deeper and more effective for me than massage therapy ever was, and I’m really happy that I found Bob to restore a sense of well being to my body. If you’re in physical pain and want long term relief, I’d encourage you to give Bob a try; he’s an excellent Rolfer, and he’s also a very warm, laid back guy who puts you at ease and makes you feel at home in his office even when his hands and elbows are sinking deep into your muscles and causing you to wince every once in awhile!

I love Bob! I’ve been going to him now for over 20 years. He’s quiet, gentle and laid back. Whenever I feel twisted, cramped bound up or tweaked I go and he straightens me out so that it feels effortless to stand up and walk straight. With traditional massage, I always feel like it felt good while they were doing it, but the effects don’ last. Bob works at a deeper level and has helped when chiropractic just isn’t enough. I don’t even waste my money on regular massage anymore. Bob is so much more worth it. If you don’t know anything about rolfing, you go for 10 sessions.
