I really expected a little more out of this place. Had been to a proper dinner and my dinner was some naan. veggie korma, chili paneer and Biryani of course. The starters were great, although i had a bad food poisoning later that night and i believe the paneer was to be blamed. Apart from that the paneer was good to taste. The Naan’s were hot and well made. I hated the veggie korma, which was, i am sorry to say nothing like i have had in other restaurants, It was not as thick as it should be, not as tasty as it could be. Coming to biryani, it tasted really good with nothing much to show off. The quantity of 1 biryani is good for 2. The ambiance of this place is nothing great to boast off, has a usual casual dining place with well lit lights and clean bathrooms. There is also good parking space right in the front. You can have food for to go. Overall, a decent place for picky items. Lives up to its name for biryani.

Was disappointed as the offer that was posted on Unilocal was not honored. Could like rate the food taste 3.5 on 5.

They have improved a lot… They still need some impovements in dining and customer service. Very good for togo and most of the biriyani especially bezawada, nizam and chettinadu are awesome… Old review… Visit only if you are not hungry, and have lots and lots of time to waste waiting for your order to arrive… Service is very poor and the restaurant is very poorly organized with inexperienced staffs. Restaurant staff consider the kitchen to be a separate unit and complain that kitchen is responsible for all the problem. They use ipads and iphones to take orders, but we have to remember what we ordered and repeat it to them while paying. For to-go orders, we have to repeatedly remind them our order many times until the order arrives… Food is good… has the authentic south indian spice and flavor. I am giving two out of two for the food, but –1 out of three for the service received.

Yesterday I ordered this bezawada biryani. And it was of my worst taste ever … One of my friend recommended this to me and after I ate this i felt like it was the worse taste that i ever had. Sorry to say this, but it’s true. I felt the biryani was 2 – 3 days before one. They might have gave the same one for to go. Please don’t ever do these kind of things. worst experience ever.

Naan was burnt slightly. biriyani(tried veg, Mutton, egg) were pretty good. But not as good as a hyderabadi dum biriyani. Worth a visit.

My wife and I used to get food from this place at least once a week when we were living near to them. Nowadays its not that often. The food is good, especially the biriyanis. They have a lot of options for Biriyani and all of them are good. We once had a bad experience where the Bezawada was too spicy that we had to throw it out.

Legit place. Awesome hyderabadi biryani. We always get bezawada biryani which is perfect. You know an indian(south indian) restaurant is perfect if they dont ask you if you like your dish mild medium or spicy. I dont understand how this place has low reviews, but this is by far the best biryani. If you consider food more then ambience, this isthe place for you

Why call this place biriyani factory, if you are serving pulav? The biriyani since is broken, you get a nasty raw chicken taste and the staff is completely crazy, 1 guy sits on a high chair at the front register and lets his coworker clean the tables and serve. The place is messy they stand behind a wall next to the restroom and gossip and all else staring at customers. Really? I only came to pick up, sorry for those who eat there.

I was visiting San Diego from San Jose. Although San Jose is full of Indian food places, I needed to visit Biryani Factory after my friends raved about the biryani here. I am generally a very picky eater in terms of perfect balance between spice and taste but hands down Nizam biryani here was something to die for. Unlike other restaurants where raita is watery, it was thick and delicious. One more thing that I would come back here for, is their Mango Lassi. 3 glasses and I am still not over it. Yummy! You are seriously missing out on some great food if you haven’t been here.

Much better this time experience, they have improved a lot professionally Old review Used to be good! Now the chefs are careless even when chicken piece was found in Veg briyani. The most sad thing was, the server was casual about it and never even bothered to say sorry! I am not a whiny vegetarian hooligan but I expect a bit of courtesy from these bunch of(un)professional folks Never again here! Not suggesting anymore to veggie folks

Very simple café style ambience but the food is superb. Located in an all-Indian strip small this places caters mainly to the local Indian engineering community and the food couldn’t be more authentic. I keep ordering the goat curry because i can’t resist. Their main chicken biryani has chicken thoroughly impregnated with spices right down to the bone.

Decent hyderabadi Biryani. Best biryani option for a South Indian in San Diego area. Service is 3 out of 5 stars. Ambience is bad and it’s best to get a take out.

Funny, biriyani factory but Biriyani is awful! Goat curry is good! Not good for dining in. Better for carry out.

I can give 10 stars for their Biriyani. Nizam biriyani is damn good. Menu is simple and crisp. They have a perfect variety of Currys. Their lolypop chicken is very delicious but has food color added to it but that’s okie if you do not eat that very often. I agree with others review regarding service. They make you wait and at times do not attend calls but after you get their food everything just fades out. Their $ 1 paan is a must try. I have not tried any of their vegetarian dishes so not sure how they taste. And for dessert I have tried only mango Lassi and it tastes wowww! ! I prefer to order on phone than to dine in.

Being vegetarians, we had the veg biryani here. It was probably one of the worse veg biryanis I have ever had in my life. Although the portion size was good, it was 90% rice and very less vegetables. Also the taste was very bland although it said«dum«in the name which i could barely taste. THe service also took forever.

Pros: Perfect for a late night biryani binge or a weekend carb load. The bezwada biryani is really great. Try to call in an order before you come by to save some time. Cons: they don’t always pick up the phone if they’re busy. This does take away from the experience.

Worst food ever had at Biryani Factory And even the hospitality was pathetic. Please visit on ur own risk. Zero value for money food.

Bezawada biryani is to die for! Flavor is good. Chicken is delicious and hidden in the bottom.
