Established in 2013.

On March 1, 2013, Koji & Oanh Ngyen Opend their own salon, B: B Meme. We continues to strive for excellence in Our work and provide our clients with only the best in customer service.

Business Owner

As a teenager, Koji dreamed about coming to the U.S. After graduating from high school, he opted for cosmetology school instead of college. With a clear goal in mind, he worked part time at a Wendy’s that was located on a U.S. military base near his house so that he could improve his English. Shortly after, he started his career as a cosmetologist at a locally well known salon in Hiroshima, Cut House CAN. After winning a regional winding competition, he advanced to the national level but immediately lost in the first round. This loss only fueled his desire to improve and become better.

Five years later, Koji became a stylist despite his struggle with dermatitis. This was followed by countless hours of meticulous practice (often after the salon closed for the day), intense training, and dozens of seminars, which included Sassoon workshops inspired by structural hair cutting methods. As Koji’s dedication and passion for hair continued to grow, he was promoted to manager in 2000 at one
