I felt very uncomfortable as soon as i entered the building… one of the women that was working there was racist she didn’t greet or a knowledge me, second thing I was trying to listen to music and relax and you can’t relax when you hear very loud music in the other room and also one of the receptionist told me they’re going to check on me for sporadically and that was a lie, she checked on me once and tHat was it. and then after the whole thing was over they did not even take a before or after picture before we start the session I would not recommend this spot because it is not worth the time or money And very flase advertisement… Horrible horrible horrible. My first and my last time there

I’m pleased with the results im getting so far. The body wrap is GREAT and colon hydrotherapy has been the best thing I’ve done in a long time. Rebecca is AMAZING. I feel comfortable there. Diedra checks in to see how wrap is going and won’t «forget» about me in the wrap room.
The bad review goes to Brooke.
INCIDENT 1: gave benefit of doubt. Let this slide. First couple interactions were decent. However, my last 2 times were not so good. I was getting the wrap and for some reason it wasn’t heating up. I felt bad using the bell because I didn’t want to interrupt her personal cell phone conversation. But it just kept going. I dinged a couple of times until she finally came. When she did, she changed out pads but acted annoyed and her responsiveness felt so fake. Felt kind of bad, but grateful because she restarted the minutes. I was going on vacation and scheduled a hydrotherapy session and wrap. Brooke did go out of her way to help me with that (expected customer service and not above and beyond)…just out of HER way. She scheduled 2 wraps and 1 hydrotherapy session.
INCIDENT 2: I missed my appointment. MY FAULT. My reasons were personal but exigent circumstances. But I owned it and when i arrived at my second appt, THAT had been cancelled. I drove 45 minutes to get there. I wasn’t aware it was cancelled. Brooke claims she left a vmail, but i did not get anything. I was very nice and asked why would they cancel my second appt? Brooke gave attitude and went on to say how i had already missed the appt, etc. i was upset mainly at her tone and service. She acted annoyed and had no customer service tact. SHE ACTED Just straight out annoyed.
I still plan on going because as i stated before, the services are great, Rebecca and Diedra are great… but i will try and schedule my appointments when Brooke isn’t working.

Reader coupon beware!!! It expired on the 27^th, they were closed. Told they would honor it on the 28^th. Arrive for my appt. only to be told that they had me down for the wrong thing, and they did not have a foot detox available. You mess up, what makes you think I’ll patronize your business!!!

Highly recommend Aztec salon. Rebecca and Brooke are awesome. If you have ever considered having colon hydrotherapy this is the place to go.

Great place wonderful staff and really love the results i get wrapped up here and use the gel and cant regret it ive lost about 24 lbs in 2 weeks i also started exercising and eating less

I go in and wait my turn and watch as two ladies were pretty much belittling a lady who was inquiring about purchasing more services. There could have been a more tactful way of doing it. So it’s my turn and I tell the younger girl that I made an appointment for a wrap and purchased it from GroupOn. She proceeded to ask me for the voucher as I was looking it up in my phone and I say here it is, so she grabs my phone out of my hands as I showed it to her and she proceeds to tap away. She tells me that it would be better deal if I purchased their special vs. GroupOn, because it takes more than one session to see real results. I tell her I just want to do the wrap I bought already & she gave me the dirtiest look. They must work off commission, because they try to upsell other items to enhance the experience, i.e. Lotions, teas, etc., and don’t take rejection well!

I am honestly blown away! I started the body wraps about a month ago n have amazing results! It’s mind blowing with the difference my body has made! Normally you go every other day. But I have just been super busy! so It took me a little longer to finish my sessions. But I still got good results! I also workout and eat right which helps with the wraps! I signed up for a 6 pack. But I will be getting 6 more bc I’m in love with the results! Not gonna lie I was scared it wasn’t going to do anything but it blew me away! I also purchased 2 different teas. A detox tea and a weight loss tea. I will start them tomorrow. I have heard great things about the teas, so excited for them to! The owner and her staff are amazing! i bring my 4 year old daughter with me and the girls they just love her! They are all super sweet! Very pleased with Aztec tan! Don’t think twice just go for it!!!

Awesome place I bring my wife in and they give us fast service really worth the price … They are really on time with appointments and never delayed me … I sometimes go there and even get a wrap which helped me keep my body in great shape … Brook and Rebecca always gave me the best advices that not like other locations just to earn my money.

Rebecca and Brooke are AWESOME. Rebecca is very gentle and caring with the colonic. Brooke has very good people skills great customer service. The facility is very clean and customer friendly. I have had 4 colonic. Seriously thinking about the wrap, I heard good thing and good results about it. Rebecca Thanks you rock.

I can’t say enough good things about Rebecca and Aztec tan! when I moved to San Diego I started to tan at itan, paying ridiculous prices, using low powered tanning beds, and having them charge my card without my permission. I was lucky enough to find Aztec tan! I started doing wraps, tanning in their great beds, and now Rebecca is even doing Colon Hydrotherapy. I can’t tell you how good I feel every time I go. They are so friendly, the salon is always spotless and I feel right at home, I can’t recommend Aztec Tan enough!

Very family oriented and a perfect location!!! From the first appointment I was greeted with smiles and happy attitudes! Rebecca and Brook are great!
So far, I have stuck to the 50 minute wraps. Awesome!!! They have the TV and Roku set up to watch Netflix while you burn your 1900 calories!!! Or, you just take a nap! And yes… You see results! Eat right, exercise and wrap!!! Welcome to 2015!!! I also did a foot detox– wow!!!

Second time doing colon hydro therapy and I’m more than happy with the results. I went to la jolla and had the services done and paid $ 100. I have to admit Rebeca did wonders with my colon. She massaged my colon thoroughly and as gross as it sounds, it was very colorful. I will be making this apart of my 2015 routine. The first time I had it done, I lost 2 lbs. The second time, I lost 6 lbs. and I’m going to do 6 more to clean my colon. She even has coffee to help clean out my liver and kidneys. Will be doing that this Friday. You have to try it for yourself. It’s frightening at first but it’s not painful or as bad as you would expect.

The owner, Rebecca, just finished her colon hydrotherapy certification class with us at A Healthier You detox wellness center in Palm Desert. Our RN, Deb, certifies students from all over the country, and we both can easily say she is one of the best students we’ve had. Our clients were very impressed with her professionalism, kindness, and patience during her internship here. We wouldn’t hesitate referring Aztec Tan for our clients traveling to San Diego.

I started coming to Aztec Tan a few months ago to build a base tan for summertime. The owner, Rebeca took time to speak with me over the phone and then again in person when she showed me around the place. She answered all my questions and gave me a great deal on a tanning package and lotion. You can tell Rebeca really cares about her business and her customers.
Since then I’ve also done 12 body wraps and wow! I’m hooked! The rooms are great, with Netflix and very relaxing while you sweat sweat sweat!!!
If you’re in need of a new tanning salon don’t hesitate, just go!

Time to update my review.
I finished my sessions 2 months ago-​12 total– and so far my legs and stomach still look good. I am also happy to say my boyfriend noticed the change without me telling him. I didn’t tell him because I wanted to see if the change was really noticeable, and IT IS!
*A bonus side affect to this treatment is my back pains have subsided. I hurt myself in a Bikram yoga class a couple of years ago, and had been seeing a chiropractor for it. After doing Formostar for a little over two months, I must say I don’t need to go to the chiropractor as much. My chiropractor, even said if it was working for me, I should continue to go.
So Rebecca, you’ll be seeing me soon. I now have two reasons to go back.

Don’t believe the negative nonsense! Some people will complain about anything.
Rebecca is a young and successful SMALL business owner. She doesn’t have the resources iTan or other franchises do, so don’t expect them. She owns and operates Aztec Tan with 1 employee — super sweet Brooke. No receptionist, no laundry service, no cleaning crew or maintenance staff. They do it ALL themselves.
TAN: I wanted level 5 tanning but went with (cheaper) level 4 at their recommendation. I got a good base tan after #1 and was brown by #4. No pushy sales tactics. Good advice on how to meet/​maintain my goals and why gels/​lotions are recommended. Advice against max allowed minutes and oveuse. They never guaranteed results. But I take their advice and it works for me.
WRAP: I’ve done 7 with results I’m happy about. I sweat like a beast and see subtle but definite progress in my photos. I bought 3 on a Groupon and went in as a skeptic. While there, I talked to customers who shared stories/​photos of impressive results. Some better than others, but all good enough to make me buy 12 at a time I couldn’t really afford it. So far, no regrets.
PERKS: With tan #1, Brooke gave me a free lotion sample so I could see how my skin would react before buying. When I forgot wrap gel, Rebecca gave me some free. When I wanted 12 wraps, Rebecca allowed payments so I could afford them. When I referred a friend who forgot her wallet, Rebecca provided the wrap and trusted to get paid «next time». When I arrived at closing, Brooke stayed late so I could tan. When I got hot while wrapping, Brooke went next door and bought me a cold bottle of water. This is AMAZING and RARE service you won’t get from iTan… or anywhere these days. Small business owners have the option of doing WHATEVER IT TAKES to earn your business. AT exercises that option.
But yes… you might wait to be greeted on occasion. They will take calls while serving you to also serve others. And although I’ve not noticed, they may miss a spot while cleaning. But it’s only because they are BUSY. And they’re busy because we don’t want pricey, long-​term contracts other places demand. We want a good deal and AT has them!
For the «impossible-​to-​please but quick-​to-​complain» types, this *should be* common sense: If you’re late, you might not be seen. You won’t get the same results as your friend did. If you buy low-​level tans or don’t buy lotion, you get slow results. If you tan longer than recommended, you may burn. When deals expire, that price is no longer valid. If you don’t enjoy your experience, you don’t have to come back. You being unhappy doesn’t earn you a refund. And treating hard-​working women badly doesn’t earn you respect.

OMG! I love this salon. I got a 6-​month tanning package here and absolutely love the level 4 and high pressure beds.
I also see so many people going here for the formostar body wraps and those things really work! The salon is always really clean and smells amazing. Plus Rebeca and Brooke are super nice!
I definitely recommend the body wraps here because you loss body fat not only water weight.
Also they are adding laser hair removal, and I will be their first customer!

Came in cause I saw a special in the San Diego Reader for $ 25 for their wrap. It works wonders! After my first session, I was completely DRENCHED. Even the employee was surprised because she said I sweat more than most people do their first time!
Rebecca is really nice and really helpful. She’s knowledgeable about her products and business.
I’m thinking of coming back here if I ever need to tan and I’m in a time crunch. Dancing for a Polynesian dance group requires that I’m tan all year long.
