Established in 1982.

Edward Ayub Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy was founded by husband and wife, Ed and Mary Ayub, in 1982. Today, just like 33 years ago, Ed continues to work and develop what he considers the finest physical therapy treatment in San Diego. Offices are located in Point Loma and Chula Vista and are staffed by licensed physical therapists. The professional staff specializes in a hands-​on manual style of physical therapy, which allows a better opportunity for each therapist to more closely understand and appreciate each patient’s unique needs.

Business Owner

Ed Ayub has dedicated his life to the well-​being of his patients and employees. Ed received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State Long Beach. Not long after Ed went to get his master’s of science degree in orthopedic physical therapy from the from The Institute of Graduate Health Science in Atlanta Georgia.

In 1994 Ed started working onsite at National Steel and Shipbuilding Company in National City also known as NASSCO. In those years Ed has helped rehab injured workers two times a week.

In 1987, Ed was chosen to be the head trainer for the United States Eagles. He accompanied them to two World Cups and traveled to over 20 countries. Within that same year Ed also became the head trainer of the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club formerly known as OMBAC.

Ed has put a tremendous amount of work into his career of keeping people healthy. He has much support by his incredible staff that works alongside him every day to help him carry out his mission of providing the best physical therapy.
