By far the most attentive, efficient and trust-​worthy vendor of my wedding. Our first meeting with Patrick was organized, to the point, and over the top accommodating. He was able to understand the vision we had for our wedding day bright tropical flowers for both ceremony and reception.
On our wedding day, the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were delivered above expectations and on time. I highly recommend using Artistic Floral for your event!

The owner, Patrick was incredibly professional and delivered on everyone of our unique requests… including flying in peony flowers from Europe which took some work. Patrick is very good at arranging wedding but I do wish I would of gone with another florist. The day of my wedding my flowers weren’t white how I expected, they had a greenish yellow color to it. Even tho they set up 30 mins before the ceremony the roses did not look fresh. The corsages were so tiny, there’s was more stem to it then anything. The isle design looked nothing like the picture. And my centerpieces were supposed to be nice red orchids in a vase of water but instead looked like petals.

We had Artistic Florals make arrangements for our small wedding dinner at The Prado and are so happy with the job they did. The owner Patrick was so easy to work with leading up to the event – he sent over pictures to describe what the flowers would look like and was quick to respond to all of my questions. He also agreed to set out place cards and gifts for our guests, which was extra work for him that he wasn’t compensated for. I’m so grateful to him for doing that, because it meant I didn’t have to worry about it during the wedding. When we arrived at dinner, everything was exactly where it should have been and the flowers looked really beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for anything better from this business.

Patrick was exceptional throughout the whole process of planning flower arrangements for my wedding. When I walked into his office for our first meeting, I honestly had no idea what I really had in mind. He put me at ease when he had suggestions from previous weddings and began to get an idea from the location of the ceremony and reception. Since our location already had a tropical theme, he was able to give suggestions of many flowers that would compliment the scenery there (Bali Hai Restaurant). We were able to use the flowers from the bamboo archway for our ceremony on our sweetheart table which saved us quite a bit of money. He also provided the «look» of our wedding cake and took our suggestion of creating a «waterfall» of tropical flowers down the side. He also made the guests’ tables look the way I had described to him. He stuck around during the ceremony and was very prompt on timing especially getting our flowers to us, the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and the family members before the ceremony began. One of the groomsmen’s friends was having difficulty with tying his tie when Patrick arrived to their room, and assisted him when it wasn’t expected of him to do so. Patrick will work with you and do everything that he can to make your day memorable. We are very pleased with all that he did to make our day as stress free as possible and look so amazing!

We used Artistic Florals for my mothers celebration of life event that was help at the Prado. They were so respectful of the event and listened to what we wanted. What they provided was 15 arrangements that were beyond what we could have imagined. My Dad was impressed and kept saying how reasonably priced they were. Such a great experience during a difficult time. The quality was lovely, staff was exceptional.

We used Patrick and his staff for our wedding on 10÷04÷14. Since the first time we met him, he was very professional and had everything well organized. He gave us recommendations about the flowers and color scheme that would do well with our wedding colors. He is very knowledgable and he and his team did a great job in our wedding. My wedding was vintage style and the flowers arrangements were better than expected. We received many complainants about the centerpieces and our ceremony flowers. We met with him a few times before the wedding and he was always easy to reach and he answered all our questions. We definitely will use Artistic Florals again if we have a future event. We highly recommend Artistic Florals to anyone that is looking for a florist:)

Choosing Artistic Florals as the florist for our wedding was one of the easiest and best decisions we made! We felt instantly at ease upon meeting Patrick. The best part was that given very vague, basic ideas of what we wanted, Patrick was able to immediately understand the «feel» we were going for, and came up with excellent ideas for the décor. There were NO issues whatsoever with the contracts and billing. We knew of the «deadlines» far in advance and changing the contract until that point (around a week before) was easy.
Also, when the flowers arrived, everyone was stunned by how beautiful they were. Seriously, they were absolutely PERFECT. The flowers themselves, and the arrangements, were so much better than I could have possibly imagined.
We received TONS of compliments on the flowers. Several guests even took blooms home to preserve, and a bridesmaid preserved one of the orchids and turned it into a necklace for me. The day of, there was no chaos. The team worked seamlessly with the venue, and not a detail was missed.
Even the price was impressive– right in the same range as several other florists I checked out, but with better reviews, more awards and kudos, etc.
In case it helps to know, our flowers were primarily white roses and blue/​fuchsia orchids. Also some white orchids, baby’s breath, and ivy. We ordered a bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, corsages for the moms and grandmother, boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, and father; alter piece, toss-​bouquet, ceremony gazebo pieces, aisle pieces, and centerpieces. Wedding date: 9÷21÷14.

I was referred to Artistic Florals by another florist in Mira Mesa who was unavailable the week of my wedding. Based on my experience with Artistic Florals I question their judgement as well. I visited Artist Florals, a quaint shop, one afternoon and explained what my vision was for my wedding, everyone including Patrick was very nice, professional and asked what I thought were pertinent questions.
Before I left I gave Patrick my email address and he said he would be emailing me a quote within the next day or two detailing the break down of all the costs… it’s weeks later and as I’m writing this review I have yet to receive anything from him. A few days after my initial visit I called to follow-​up as to the status of my quote and left a voicemail, then the next day I called again– no answer. The day after that I called again and Patrick picked up the phone and said that he had emailed me the quote but it must have gone to the wrong email address but I had left it on his voicemail again a couple days earlier so I was confused by his confusion… anyways, I gave it to him a third time and waited. A couple days later still nothing, but I’m persistent so I emailed Patrick from my email address just to make sure he had it– I never received so much as a response.
Needless to say I will not be using Artistic Florals as a vendor nor will I be referring anyone to them. The level of unprofessionalism/​unresponsiveness I was treated with shouldn’t warrant any business as it pertains to one of the most important days of your life. Brides be aware… look elsewhere.

I cannot praise Patrick and team enough for the stunning arrangements, centerpieces, petal swirl in the aisle, cake decoration, flowergirl halos and bouquets for our wedding.
My sister’s bouquet and ribbon complemented her dress perfectly. My orchid bouquet was picture perfect. The centerpieces were definitely a hit, as I saw people whisk them off the tables.
We interviewed many floral vendors, but Patrick stood out above the rest because he is a true professional. He was able to work with our budget, particularly coming under budget by proposing substitutes for more expensive, yet just as pretty, flowers. The man knows flowers better than anyone else.
The arrangements/​ceremony site turned out better than how Patrick described them. I wish I could have spent more time taking them in. However, I’ve also been stalking, er, following Artistic Florals on other social media sites. Their work is impeccable. See for yourself!
Also, the office is on the second story of a very cool Victorian home. It was re-​decorated from the first time we met with Patrick (two thumbs up, btw). I thought that was something unique from some of the other floral vendors we had interviewed.

Patrick and his team handled the flowers for our wedding last month. From the very first meeting, Patrick was so willing to accommodate and help us stay within our budget. We had last minute changes, and he managed them with no hesitation. The work they created exceeded our expectations and everyone said how beautiful they thought the flowers were. Wish I could have kept them forever! Thank you to Artistic Florals for making our day easy and memorable!

Fantastic displays. Timely delivery. Got just what I wanted when they did the flowers for the opening of our new shop! Would not hesitate to use them again.

Patrick and his team are fabulous! From the ceremony to the reception, they take great pride in their work and are very easy to work with.

I’m sure for every girl, we have all dream and fantasize our perfect wedding as a child. Well that time came for me to have my perfect wedding that I have fantasized since I was a little girl.
Through the search of various vendors; creating my dream team for my wedding. I thought Patrick, owner of Artistic Florals and Plants would have been the perfect choice. To my great sadness, he wasn’t.
Future brides, heed my warning and don’t trust in Artistic Florals for your wedding.
Brides, let me break it down for you…
1. Appointments: He failed to show up at our first meeting and I was accused for being 1 hour late to a meeting, in which he was at fault for writing the time wrong.
2. Bridal Bouquet: Floral design was done well, but my ribbon wrapped at the stems was mustard yellow. My colors for the wedding was green and brown! No where did my contract say mustard yellow ribbon as it clearly stated clearly that I wanted chocolate brown ribbon.
3. Boutonnieres: The flowers were correct and beautiful, but the stem was wrapped with black floral tape. When the contract clearly states, wrap with chocolate brown ribbon.
4. Communication: It was always difficult setting up appointments or getting a hold of Patrick. He wasn’t very good at returning e-​mails or remembers things discussed in the meetings. So be sure that EVERYTHING you want is written in the contact, but even at that he still fails to follow it. Sadly to say, just don’t hire him.
5. Flower Arrangements: I paid money for leaves and ferns with a few flowers here and there. It was depressing seeing how much I paid for leaves and scarcely scattered flowers; they didn’t look like anything from the pictures I showed him, which he even attached it to my contract.
I don’t think I was a difficult bride to work with. I’m sure other brides say that, but I know I didn’t ask for much and always strive to be easy to work with. I was always easy to get a hold of and I am very organized with all the details of my wedding. I honestly don’t know what went wrong or to why I was treated poorly by him. I wish I didn’t have to write this review, but I was left no choice. It could have all been avoided if he would have just apologized after I sent him an e-​mail of how unhappy I was with him. A simple sorry… can’t be that hard. But I guess his ego and pride got in the way to show any type of humility.
I had put my complete trust, confidence and a good amount of money for his service and floral pieces. I wanted to be among the many who loved his work and happy with his service, but to my great great sadness it didn’t turn out that way for me.

Patrick and his team are amazing! He totally captured the vision I was going for with our table center pieces, my bridal bouquet and the boys boutonnieres. So FUN to work with, fair pricing and beautiful work.

Patrick did the flowers for my wedding and I have to say I was extremely happy with pretty much everything! The arrangements, the bouquets… it all looked so amazing! He did a great job working with us and identifying which flowers would give us the look we wanted while keeping within our budget. It took us a little while to get the details of the contract ironed out, but once we did he delivered on everything that was in there! He was able to add some flowers for the chocolate fountain table and my bridesmaids’ hair at the last minute (a few days before). I was extremely pleased that he «saw» my vision and was able to execute on it… even enhancing it and adding additional suggestions during the planning stages on things I hadn’t thought of or had no idea about (I’m not too savvy with flowers!). I would have to recommend in the future not to use makara orchids for boutonnieres though… we had orange ones and after an hour or two they turned brown and wilted. They even wilted a little in the bouquets, but they looked GORGEOUS submerged in tall vases as centerpieces!
I highly recommend Patrick — he was friendly, easy going, and does an amazing job with giving you ideas if needed and then executing on your vision… at a reasonable price (depending on the flowers you choose — if you go with higher priced flowers it WILL drive up his costs)! :)

i’m a little late in doing this review, as my wedding was last october, but i have definitely not forgotten the amazing service and beautiful flowers that patrick did for our wedding. everything was just as i imagined it, from the centerpieces to the cake flowers to the bouquets — perfect!
