So after a recent trip I realized my vision was somewhat worse. I quickly made an appointment with Arena Eyeworks after wanting to try them out because of how friendly they were previously when I went in to check out their frames. The whole place was very clean and nicely set up. There’s a coffee and tea station. The staff is very friendly which is a huge plus. Overall the check up was quick but attentive. The equipment is very advanced and they explain step by step what each test is for. Dr. Langford was awesome. The gentleman at the front, sorry forgot your name, helped me pick out the perfect frames! Overall, great experience. Can’t wait to rock my new Tom Ford’s!

I was traveling through the area and I knew in advance. I booked my appointment. The doctor and staff were all professional I actually was close by (walking distance). I did ask if they could get me in early and there was an opening which worked out great for me because I was able to have them order my contact lense and have them before I left the country. All of the equipment used had to be the latest it was very efficient there. I would definitely recommend this place and also come back again.

Great selection of frames and the CSR here is above and beyond the call of duty.

My optometrist, Dr. Langford, always provides thorough and up-​to-​date care, and is always personable and cordial. Optician Kent Griffin has an experienced eye in helping to find the right frames. But importantly, he always starts by finding out my own tastes and preferences. Arena’s entire office space is designed and appointed nicely — an inviting place to be.

Love this place. Everyone there is helpful and friendly. Dr. Langford is very thorough and takes his time with you. My most recent experience with Kent was awesome. My lenses seemed scratched and cloudy. He immediately made call to verify they were still under warranty and replaced them at no cost to me. Really love the great customer service!

I had a great visit that was quick and easy to schedule. The front staff greeted me with a sincere smile and offered me caring service. Michelle was especially helpful with my billing needs. But probably the best (and perhaps most important) part of my visit was my exam with Dr. Matt Langford. He is whip smart and easy to understand. He not only gave me a thorough exam, but he explained every part of the process to my needy satisfaction.

Don’t go to Lenscrafters or anywhere else. Go here for your eye checkups and glasses.
I had a too light prescription from another optometrist, and Dr. Langford helped me find the perfect prescription. We had to do a dialated eye exam, my first ever, but he was friendly, informative, and really put me at ease about it all even when I was a little nervous. He helped me improve my vision for work and for driving– and helped me get to the bottom of why I was getting headaches all the time.
The folks out in the lobby who fit glasses are amazing as well– they answered all my questions, and even helped me replace lenses in a favorite pair of frames that I already had and didn’t want to get rid of. I also got some awesome sunglasses out of the deal, because they took the time to review my insurance to make sure I was getting the most for my money.
I’ll stick to Arena for future eye needs!

Dr Langford and Von are the best. I was able to make an appointment online which was so easy. Came in and was greeted by the friendly staff and a cute waiting room with coffee and tea. The glaucoma air test was the easiest one ever in life. That test is the main reason I dread my yearly exam. The exam was thorough and informative. My final prescription is perfect, my previous one was a little too strong.
I was then greeted by Von who helped me pick out some frames based on telling him my style. We ended up choosing a thick pair that I was reluctant to at first, but I love them and get compliments. My experience was so great that I brought my husband in when I returned for my follow up. He was able to get a pair of sunglasses for his prescription and wears them everywhere, even in doors!
Great staff, location, parking, and décor. I will recommend Arena Eyeworks!

This review is for Kent. I will not purchase eyeglasses from anyone else.
I’ve purchased two pair of high-​end frames from this gentleman and I’m currently planning my next purchase.
This guy knows his stuff.
The first pair was a beautiful pair of Maui Jim prescription sunglasses. The lenses he’s put together for me are out of this world.
The second pair are beautiful hand-​made frames by Dita. Exceptional is the word I’ll use to describe them.
If you’re on the fence and nervous about ordering eyeglasses, as I had been– do yourself a favor and see Kent. You will not be disappointed.

Came here looking for a last minute gift. Kent G was very patient, accommodating and helpful. I can’t believe I didn’t never seen this place before.
I was debating between buying the glass from the manufacturing online because they had a better price than the competitor down the street but when I asked for the price here, it was the exact same as the manufacture. In and out in no time. What a quick an easy transaction. Thank you Kent!

Everyone from the moment I walked in was very kind. Very large and open space, with a large selection of frames. State of the art optical equipment, kind and knowledgeable Dr’s and staff. I had my own frames that they are putting my new lenses in. Totally grateful for that, most places won’t do that, So I used my insurance allowance to get a nice pair of ray ban sunglasses to give away. everyone happy. Great place, totally recommend.

Walking into Arena Eyeworks is like walking into your grandmother’s house — that is, if your gran had state of the art gadgets for evaluating ocular health, and your gran was young and spritely.
Immediately I was greeted warmly by a gentleman at a nearby desk. He didn’t simply gesture in the direction of the receptionist’s counter, he arose to accompany me in escort for the journey that spanned six feet of real estate.
Michele, the receptionist, made pleasant conversation with me as she looked up my name and appointment details. All the while I was ravenously rifling through the dish of assorted Hershey Kisses, absently mumbling about the lack of almond ones remaining. Once my appointment was confirmed, Michele invited me into the waiting lounge where I was encouraged to help myself to coffee or tea — just like at gran’s house.
In the waiting lounge I selected a regular black coffee sachet from the available beverage selections, and put it in the fancy drink making machine — not altogether unlike gran’s Keurig machine that she so adores inviting strangers to utilize.
So here I am, sipping my coffee and taking advantage of the free WiFi to play this absurdly addicting car racing game on my phone, when in walks another employee who smiles towards me and comments that I appear comfortable (which I will parenthetically attest to having been very much true).
Her name, as I would later learn, is Ruby. Now, I shan’t pretend to not have been more than a little beneath the spell of her beauty, for she is indeed an enchanting young woman — but that’s neither here nor there.
Ruby and I enter an organic discourse primarily focused around the topic of acupuncture, which I confess to having just had done earlier in the day. Both out of genuine curiosity, as well as in the interest of maintaining the pretty girl’s attention, I inquire what beverage she has elected to summon from the fancy hot beverage machine. She replies that it’s her secret recipe, and offers to make me one.
Just then the door opens and I am called into the room with all the fancy gadgets that ol’ grams-​bear does not have at her disposal. I did not get the name of the gal who called me into the room with all the fancy gadgets that ol’ grams-​bear does not have at her disposal, but she also proved to be pleasant and welcoming as she performed the series of initial tests utilizing the aforementioned gadgets. You know the tests: the ones where you look into the machines and stare at hot air balloons at the end of country roads and then every once in a while you get surprised with a little puff of air that always startles you, but you try to play it off like everything is super chill.
So I’m at one such machine when in walks Michele who sets a cup of almond Hershey Kisses beside me! She took the time to go find more almond ones, and delivered them to me in the fancy gadget room. And then, behold!. .. in walks Ruby with a fresh cup of her secret recipe coffee for me! I mean, you don’t go to the eye doctor expecting better coffee service than you get at Starbucks — but that’s what I found here.
After my initial round of tests and photos and whatnot were concluded in the room with all the fancy gadgets, I am met by Dr. Matthew Langford — who turns out to be a young easygoing type of Doctor who speaks to me with that perfect (and exceedingly rare) combination of scientific patois and working man’s vernacular. You know what I mean: he sounds like he knows what the hell he’s talking about, but he doesn’t saturate the conversation with polysyllabic Latin words you don’t understand just to prove it.
At no point did I feel like I was wasting his time, nor did he make me feel rushed. He answered all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, and even offered to use my phone to take photos of my eye through his microscope so I could see what he was talking about.
I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. Everyone was exceedingly courteous and professional [without being stuffy], the place is immaculate, and the customer service unparalleled in its field.
Assuming you dutifully completed Step 1 before proceeding to Step 2, you are on your way to improved eye health in a comfortable environment. When you get there, tell ‘em the ginger-​bearded sailor sent you. It might score you a few almond kisses, or even a secret brew. ..

I can’t say enough good about Arena Eyeworks. I have been going there for 4 years. Front the time you enter to the time you leave you will feel welcome and get their undivided attention. They all are knowledgeable. Their waiting room is modern and no annoying televisions. The frames they offer are highly fashionable. I never feel like they are trying to get me on the up-​sale. Thank you for the fabulous service.

I have purchased my last few sets of glasses through Arena and their service has always been good. I was on a flight last week and my glasses ended up under the foot of the woman sitting next to me, lense dislodged and frame busted. In my head I was thinking $ 50 minimum to fix. Stopped by Arena the next day and was helped by Kent. He took in my glasses and 15 minutes emerged with them fixed, good as new. Cost, just part of the service they provide when you purchase there. I love it when a service provider goes the extra mile to help their customers. It galvanizes my loyalty to them every time.

Great overall experience! Office staff, technicians and Dr were all courteous, clear and efficient.

I’ve been going to Arena Eyeworks for about 7-​years. I think their service has actually gotten better over the years. My last eye exam was a couple weeks ago and I saw Dr. Santarlas for the first time, I think I like him the best and I’ve been seen by two of the other doctors there (they’re not bad or anything, I just thought Dr. Santarlas was probably the most helpful/​thorough). Nice selection of glasses and they finally seem to have knowledgeable people working in the eyeglass area. I like this place, the staff, selection, and there’s always parking… and Phil’s BBQ smells delish.

Great experience here. Nice office, nice staff. Dr. Langford was super thorough, listened to my questions and took some time to get to know me. Best of all, they had me in and out in quick fashion, which is a huge plus compared to my last doctor. Consider me a patient!

I found this place on Unilocal looking for an optometrist that had good reviews and carried a certain type of frame I wanted. Dr. Santarlas was great! I have not had a full eye exam that I can remember but noticed that I was having trouble focusing on my sights in my dominant eye the last few times I was at the range.
I went through a series of tests with some pretty amazing technology, and I didn’t have to get my eyes dilated. I found out that I have something called accommodative insufficiency. The optometrist answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. The woman who helped me find the frames was also so helpful and my glasses showed up quickly.
I would highly recommend arena eyeworks!
