I took a trip up to Tahoe in my Jeep in late December. The trip back up/​down to San Diego turned my car into a mess! My jeep is blue and you could barely see the color through all of the dirt. This place is super close to where I live and car washes are at a great price so I thought why not? I got the mid tide wash for $ 8, it got majority of the dirt off, but there was still some visible dirt. For such a standard wash and the massive amount of dirt on my car, I was impressed it got most of it off and was totally expecting it! This place has free vacuums so I proceeded to that station and as I was vacuuming, an employee approached me and said «hey you know what? Your car came in really dirty and not everything was cleaned up. Want to run it through again? I’ll hook you up!»
AMAZING SERVICE AT AN AMAZING PRICE! I’ll definitely be coming back to this place and recommending it to whoever I know!

Pretty good deal for a $ 5 car wash, but the car is never quite spotless afterwards (as in the car wash doesn’t quite get all the crap off the car). Guys do a good job with drying. Best part is the free vacuum — powerful suction to get the inside good and clean!

Best $ 5 ever spent! My car was filthy and we had somewhere to be and needed a super quick bath! Stumbled upon this place and very happy we did!
When we pulled in there were guys at the pay station to help and tell us about each wash. I chose the $ 5 express was since we were in a hurry. Drove through in 1 minute and 2 guys were on the other end to dry us off! In total, the was took about 6 minutes! Awesome!

Got 5 dollar wash, wash left multiple marks. I have been here before plenty of times without issue. Went to speak with owner, employee stated «he will not speak with you» the Manager customer service was a joke, he was rude and had an aggressive tone. 5 dollar car wash is cheap, but not worth the risk of damage. Left a couple dings and scuff in paint. My Bmw was in pristine condition, gets a wax once a month. I posted photos of damage see above. Proud owner of a Bmw. Tip if you care about your paint get it was somewhere else, if your looking to get the mud off for 5 bucks and don’t care about scratches, dings, and scuffs this is the place to go.

I’m a regular here. Bring the cars here once a week. The staff Is really nice, the equipment is good doesn’t damage your car in any way.
I finally gave them a review today because the last time I came I left one of my Honda Pilot, all purpose matts here. It had been about 4 days and I didn’t notice till this morning, when I carpooled to school, that I forgot to put my Matt back in when I vacuumed the car last. I immediately called and Alex the owner said he looks look around and call me back. Thankfully he called me back right away and let me know he had it (phew, a couple hundred dollars I don’t have to spend on a new one). Glad to know those guys are trustworthy!!!

This is great! Only $ 5 to go thru the wash and they have 2 guys hosing the car before and 2 drying at the end of the tunnel. They even scrubbed a bird poo I had near my window. Vacuum is also included! Love it. Great job.

If you want to get your car wash done in this area this is a place to go. It’s fast efficient and very convenient better than the other car wash place I go to.

I went through once and the manager directed me through. The car wash ripped the roof rack off my car and dented the roof. After numerous attempts at talking with the manager, nothing was done to replace my roof rack or fix my car. They seemed kind through the process, and made me believe that they would do something about it… but never made any actions to fix my car and have not contacted me back.

Aqua Clean Express is seriously my favorite car wash! I typically stop by at least every other week.
The guys here are always friendly and the prices are ridiculously cheap for the quality you receive. The cheapest wash, the «Low Tide» is $ 5 and is pretty decent for a basic wash. The most expensive wash, the «Tidal Wave» is $ 14 and includes things like a tire shine, mini buff, hot wax AND you get 50% off of your next Tidal Wave wash if you keep your receipt! Every wash includes a pre-​scrub before you enter the bay, a quick hand dry at the end and access to their self serve vacuums.
One day I showed up as they were closing (by accident). They were still just as friendly as any other time I visited and one guy even helped me finish vacuuming my car before he put away the hoses. Aqua Clean Express really does a great job making sure their employees have a good grasp on customer service and are willing to go above and beyond.

The first thing that caught my attention was the friendly staff and attention to deal. My car was very dirty and needed a lot of work. After talking to the manager jeorge I was sold. He took his time to look at my car and recommended based on my needs and not to take advantage of me. You have to try this place out too see what great service they offer

Will most likely move this place to 5 stars soon. I’ve only been a few times, but so far the service and price have been really good. I love the LAVA shield! Make sure you read the reviews about the Mexican place connected to the car wash before you eat there. Keep up the great work Aqua Clean!

I love this car wash. I was previously using an automatic carwash on Mission Gorge for $ 5. The car would always have spots after the wash. At Aqua Clean everyone is so helpful. You can get a basic was for $ 5 and someone will hand dry afterward. The best part about this place is the monthly pass and the free vacuums. I bought the monthly pass for $ 20 and am excited to always have a clean car.
They also have detailing!

So sometimes I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed. I checked their website, printed out my coupon, and headed over not realizing they do not offer the $ 13.99 hand wash and vacuum at this location. La Mesa by Costco. Ohhhhh.
I was told my choices were the $ 20 (they do everything) or $ 5.00 basic wash with free vacuuming (I do this). I opted for the $ 5.00 basic. While I was vacuuming, «Big» George, who really isn’t that big, came up to inquire what services I had been looking for. He cleared everything up and nicely wiped down my dash and windows for free. Plus we had a good chat about cars. I wanted to tip, but didn’t have cash. Next time, I swear!

Reasons why I would give 6 s:
1) tax on CCs or Debit! (I’m a «broke college kid,» so that matters.)
2) SMILES! (You’re greeted by excellent, speedy employees that keep you moving with a smile.)
3) pre-​wash SERVICE! (Before entering the automatic wash, 2 employees power-​rinse and sponge scrub your car to get the «tough stuff» off that the machine could leave behind.)
4) post-​wash SERVICE! (After, 2 employees hand-​dry car. Also, they put my antenna back on!)
5) VACUUMS! (Powerful, accessible, and always ON!)
6) TIME! (I was in-&-out within 24mins. Including: being 4th in line, $ 5 wash time, and vacuuming a VERY messy mustang.)

For the minimum wash at $ 5.00 it’s an awesome deal!
The staff is always friendly and the guys at the end who wiped my car down smiled and waved me thru (normal car washes the guys are usually expecting a tip) I rolled my window down and called them back over and handed them the tip, they thought I was unhappy with something.
Then, you can vacuum your car for free — and I’ve never seen vacuums this strong!
Great experience and next time going for the super wash!
