Tonight my friends and I came in for a nice girls night dinner(7−9pm) Ryan was our server, he was so awesome! He made sure we were taken care of He made sure to table touch and that our drinks were always filled, and if we needed anything at all he was at it quickly! He was very nice, wasn’t uptight, he stuck convo with us so we felt comfortable with him right off the bat! Very very nice gentleman 5 stars for Ryan forsure! It was our first time at this Applebee’s and if we return we will definitely be looking for him. Thanks again Ryan!

We love this Applebees. We’ve eaten here a couple of times. The host is always welcoming and only once have we waited to be seated. There is an abundant space for parking and our server Albert was very knowledgeable of their drinks and the menu. I tried a new drink and he kindly replaced it with another suggestion when I didn’t like the first drink. We love the 2 for $ 25 deal. I appreciate that Albert told me that I can substitute my sides without any additional charges. I think it’s very sweet that their supervisor helps the wait staff when it gets busy. That’s how you know they want to deliver a good service to their customers. I notice that a table in Albert’s corner got impatient with him when it got busy but I think people should be more understanding. Good customer service requires both the employee and the customer. The food is always yummy and loaded for such a good price. I would definitely recommend!

This location is superb!!! Tyler was warm and very helpful on the phone while placing a curb side order. Everything came out in a perfect amount of time and they are just so nice here. Food was great as always, and really makes it easy on busy nights or tired after work and don’t want to cook. It’s always a great experience coming here, we love you guys!

I LOVE Applebee’s and i always had love for their happy hour wings and strawberry lemonade, but this place was very disappointing. In order to be served the happy hour menu, you would specifically have to be seated in the bar section. We couldn’t get that, because we had two girls with us that couldn’t be seated there. So I still went with my usual order, everytime I would come to Applebee’s. The strawberry lemonade was the most disappointing drink I’ve had. It was watered down, no taste of lemonade or strawberry. Our waiter was very kind enough to try and fix it, by asking the bartender for some more lemon juice. That didn’t help. Overall, our waiter Andrew was good. He made sure he checked up on us, if my drinks were okay(which it wasn’t, but I couldn’t be mad at him.) So thank you! Appreciate it.

I’ve been to this location multiple times for drinks and appetizers and have had horrible service each time. The servers won’t do much more than take your order and drop off your check. They rely on the touchscreen device to do most of their job now. Unfortunately that thing can’t refill drinks.

If you read these reviews it is either because you are new to Unilocal or are cross reviewing. In any case, Applebee’s represents the worst of the USA. If you eat here as I did you shall henceforth be an applebeing much like a human but with worse taste. My picture reviews show the dirty plates we received from our illustrious manager of «Mercedes» which sprinted to get these. The next pic shows my four cheese with chicken tenders joke. Then the chips with salsa that was originally an appetizer. FML is all I can say.

Popped in here for a quick drink during happy hour. The bartender Rob was exceptional. Can’t say enough good things about him. Also, the hostess was a delight! I was here 1÷14÷15 around 4:30pm! These guys need a raise! Thank you for brightening my day. See you soon!

It was my first time here. I came here for lunch today with my boyfriend and the food was delicious. We ordered the 2 for $ 25 and it came with an appetizer and got us really full. They also had great customer service and our server Mercedes, was super sweet to us. I would definitely come back again.

Terrible… Walked in and was told there was a 10 minute wait when there were numerous tables open. Next person walked in and was seated immediately. Server screwed up our order of beers and I politely acknowledge it but he insisted that said I wanted a corona when I said I wanted a blue moon. It took 20 minutes for our order to finally come out because of low staff on the kitchen. I mean come on… Get it together. Working in retail I’ve learned that you just have to bite your tongue and accept the fact the customers are always right. This place blows…

We got seated, and our drinks were taken by one waitress. She came back with the drinks and handed us off to another waiter because she was being cut or something. The second waiter took our order and then basically abandoned us. Now I’m not one who needs my server to be checking in every minute but I did order hot Buffalo wings and needed a drink refill. The guy was on the other side of the restaurant serving other tables. For some reason we were placed on the empty side — there were at least seven empty tables around ours but that tells me the servers could have been much more attentive. I had to ask the hostess to get our waiter as she walked by once, and a third(different) waiter arrived, whom we had to fill in on our order. During all this waiting, the original waitress(who said she was being cut) was still around, serving other tables near us. Why were we assigned to a waiter who was clearly working the other side of the restaurant when she was serving the tables behind us? So while everyone else got attended to, we got ignored. To top it all off, our table didn’t have a self-pay computer for our order, meaning we had to wait for the second waiter to come over and take my debit card, which as you could expect took a while since he didn’t know we didn’t have a computer. Annoying evening. I’m not typically one to not leave a tip but I didn’t leave one this time.

Here at Applebee’s enjoying Happy Hour! Just realized I called the manager Oliver when he is named Albert. He was very nice about my after work mistake. Alexis is serving up the perfect Cosmo with Grey Goose! Chicken Wonton Tacos perfect once again! Giving them two thumbs up for quick service, but highest marks for the Bartenders that hustle behind the ½ price post job Happy Hour! Give them a little extra $$ next visit. They deserve it. Once again just enough to calm me enough to go home joyful! All the stag here are great!

Came to get a bowl of soup. Am not a regular or an occasional visitor. Had to order at the bar since I was ordering to go after 9pm. The bartender was nice, which was a plus. Told me I can order sautéed mushrooms by themselves for $ 1. That was a deal. Negative: the soup I bought for $ 4 was probably the equivalent of about 7 spoonfuls. I brought the soup back in and told the bartender it was barely anything and I should get more for money. He didn’t apologize but simply said it is pre measured in the morning. He didn’t offer to put more in the container but simply said that is all he can give me. It was nice I could get mushrooms on the side but they had no flavor. Was hoping for them to be lightly seasoned. Solution: add them to my tortilla soup. That was a major rip off. It was definitely not worth the $ 5 I paid — especially since there was only two small chunks of chicken in the soup also.

Gross. The hostess was too busy chatting with her friend to seat me, then got put in the area that was actually so hot my sweat stuck me to the seat. The food was entirely flavorless except for the gratuitous amounts of margarine. Waitress was visibly annoyed every time I asked for anything and I really want to puke to get rid of the massive amounts of oil in my stomach. Also, it was incredibly slow. Might have a heart attack before I finish writing this… Wait, yep here it comes. x_x

Garbage. Me friend and I were craving some bar food so we went on over to Applebees. Mind you, I haven’t been to an Applebees in years, so I figured what the hell why not? First of all, the happy hour items are crap. There are no good items to choose from, and on top of that they make you buy a drink to get happy hour pricing on the food. The food was disgusting. Fried slop, no flavor, just total slop. I mean I know its Applebees, but come on… We could tell the waiter didn’t even like working there and he knew the menu was crap too. Also, who the hell charges $ 3 for a small glass of cranberry juice? Highway rape. Won’t ever be coming back to Crapplebees.

Since I’ve last came it’s changed quite a bit. I usually go to the Mira Mesa location but this was my first time at this particular AppleBees This location is clean. Once I walked in I was immediately seated. Servers are nice. There are new tablets now that you can use to order and pay. Unfortunately mine wasn’t working properly or it was off. The menu has changed. I believe there was more of a variety for the 2 for 20⁄2 for 25. I usually get the sirloin steak but it has now moved to 2 for 25. I don’t eat vegetables but since there are no more substitutions I can’t change it to a side of fries. I chose the 7oz steak and my friend got the three cheese macaroni. For appetizer the spinach and artichoke dip. My appetizer was extremely cold. Usually it comes out hot but since it wasn’t it tastes bland. The chips are too thin and oily for my liking. I usually don’t eat meat, but my steak was medium well and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed my meal. My friend ate my veggies so it worked out. The three cheese macaroni and chicken was extremely sweet. My friend texted me and told me to avoid it but I read the message too late. It’s different. And not really appetizing. We didn’t eat it. The chicken was crisp inside and cooked well but the sweetness just ruined it. Probably won’t be a customer of Applebee’s anymore. It’s just okay.

This review is based on the awesome customer service given to our group of 6 young boys with autism. Our waitress Alexis was extremely gracious and patient with us. The kids enjoyed the kids menu options. Thank you for including us today! –Include Autism

I hadn’t been to an Applebee’s in years. Not sure why. But have been back several times recently. The happy hour is pretty good. I really like their appetizers. The white peach Sangria is super tasty and refreshing. I had several appetizers that were part of a test menu and are no longer available. One was a beer bacon jam… it was okay but glad they didnt keep it on the menu. The fried green beans are my favorite. In a tempura type of batter. fried crispy. Plenty of parking. Kinda feels guilty guzzling a brewski or a delightful beverage when you can see 24HE Fitness in the same parking lot! LOL

They just launched a new menu which has quite a bit of new items including revamped appetizers. You can pick three items on a set list, opted for the sharp cheddar dip and bacon jam. This combination was actually great as the cheese and bacon really complimented each other. Next was sweet potato fries, I love these. Lastly was the pulled pork sliders, these were also fantastic. Normally I don’t write reviews for big chains like this but the new menu is pretty sweet. The food quality has been kicked up quite a bit from what it once was. I would give these guys a chance if you are in the area and want some beer and appetizers. It tastes different than old Applebees.
