We are happy to say that we received great customer service from the office to the technician. Bill came to the house to inspect the attic and the interior of the house for a dead animal. Bill was extremely helpful, courteous and conscientious in his work, coupled with a very pleasant personality. Before he left, he wanted to make sure that if we had any additional issues to call him and let him know. It is not often that one finds a service technician that takes so much interest in solving a customer’s problem. We will definitely recommend Antac!

I was working for a customer of mine when Antac showed up. I was outside fixing their fences. The Antac employee started spraying everywhere. I had tools everywhere. He sprayed all my hand tools. I said, «Hey, you just spread my tools! What are you spraying?» He responded «Chemicals. I will be more careful.» Then he turned around and sprayed his chemicals within 6 inches of my drinks. Needless to say, I did not drink from them anymore and ended up having to ask the customer for water that day. The Antac employee never asked me to move my stuff, which I gladly would have done. I found him rude and lazy. I would not use this company for my own property.

So, it’s been 8 months or so and I’ve had some difficulties with my service that I almost cancelled mainly because the tech that was initially assigned to us just was not following through with our request. But, the office did rectify the situation and assigned a new tech. And I am happy to say he is the BEST! And his name is DAVE WALLS. Very professional, follows through with my request.

Antac has been great about keeping our home pest-​free. In particular Bill has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended!

Used Antac for tenting my 2-​story home in San Carlos. I first called Terminix for a bid. They quoted $ 3800 for the tenting procedure. I then called Antac. Their quote: $ 1744. Terminix said they’d price match, but really, a $ 2056 difference in price??? Talk about wiggle room in giving estimates! I went with Antac. They gave me the full instructions for house prep, the food storage bags, etc. They were prompt, very careful in placing the tent (they put protective carpet padding along edges of roof to reduce chances of roof damage, made sure all cabinets and doors and drawers were open per code, checked to see that I had bagged all susceptible food or medicine products, avoided outside plant exposure to the extent possible, called SDGE for gas turn off before tenting, returned the house key as requested on the 3^rd day where we agreed they’d leave it, secured the house once tent was removed, did a perfect clean-up…no damage… nothing missing, no apparent plant death… you wouldn’t even know they were here… of course they were, because I had a few hidden cameras I could access via my smartphone, so I was able to watch the setup, monitor the house inside and out during the fumigation process, and watch the tent removal, etc. at end. Very professional, and, obviously, I was very happy with the quoted price. For termite fumigation, based on my experience (first time tenting), I’d highly recommend Antac… it comes with a 3-​year warranty. In any case, make sure you get more than one bid/​inspection before selecting a company. If I had gone with Terminix without getting more bids, I would have wasted an additional $ 2056 for essentially the same service.

We just had our 3 level home tented for termites by Antac. Josh did an excellent evaluation and gave us a very fair competitive price. We researched out Antac’s great reputation and spoke with a very satisfies customer who is also a general contractor. Marjorie Bonelli, the office manager bent over backwards to cheerfully help us with our special needs and questions. They were very available and willing to please. Antac performed a sterling job.

THE MESSAGE — ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION. I had a termite inspection performed on my house as part of a real estate sale. My home was built in the early 2000’s. The technician arrived on time and was professional, however, the report and recommendations were very suspect. And to be clear the report was very thorough and professional. They found no termite damage whatsoever but said they found termite WINGS inside near an exterior vent ‘leading to inaccessible areas’. They noted the location on a sketch but did not provide any photographs. Their sole recommendation was to tent the entire house as this was the only way to ensure ‘the infestation’ was remediated. In other words the termite clearance, which was required by the lender, would cost me nearly $ 3K. I pushed them to provide an estimate for a localized treatment which they provided but they would not provide a termite clearance. Really?! Tent the entire house for WINGS?!
I have bought and sold several houses over the years in SoCal and in every case a local remediation was sufficient in cases where evidence or minor damage was discovered. I got a second opinion from another qualified company where they found no evidence of termites and issued the clearance.
My fundamental problem with this process is that the company performing the inspection has something to gain by their recommendations. In these situations, always be critical of findings and recommendations and get a second opinion.

The only good thing about this company is that since I’ve employed them to spray my condo for roaches — there are no more to be seen since a year! I am super happy about that.
However, I think this company performs, unfortunately, sloppily when it comes to administrative tasks. The employees all seem to be fairly young and the representatives are less than knowledgeable. I and my landlady agreed to a year service with Antac, which includes an initial spraying of pesticides on the exterior and interior. Thereafter, there are bi-​monthly sprayings carried out (usually on the outside only… front door, patio, etc).
And these mofo technicians will come out to your place and be parked in your parking lot waay ahead of schedule and want to bust up the mood, like — «hey guys! I’m at your place!» Chyeah! Get the fock back in your vehicle and wait until the allotted time, Cher!
Not only have they managed to bill my account (I only agreed to pay the initial service and told them to bill the landlady for the rest. Saw that on the contract!!) successfully for an entire year via automated bill payments; but they also want to make up things as they go along when it concerns the contract. Keep you original contract handy, because even after your agreed subscription/​contract, they will come on a monthly basis and bill you — unless, you mark your calendars and call in to cancel service. I think that is irresponsible to not send out a notice stating the end of service agreement/​service renewal; instead, they expect the customer to call in to cancel (hoping, of course, that we will forget — heh heh!).
They want your $$$.

Bill Maneval, our Antac technician, was extremely helpful in identifying a rodent problem we had in our yard. Once he determined the type of rodent and the entry point, he put a solution in place for us.
We have always found Bill helpful and easy to work with on normal yard pest treatments, but he went «above and beyond» with our recent rodent problem

Currently am waiting for antac to arrive at my house for fumigation. We were told they would be arriving between 1−5pm. First of all that is really annoying because fumigating is not something we can prepare for day off. My family and I spent a lot
Of time packing and cleaning and organizing and waiting. Some of us have to work and cannot just be sitting here waiting for a call. We have kids to pick up, errands to run, etc. I am a pretty punctual person when it comes to these things and this already is irritating. I would rather be told an exact time.

We used Antac at our last home and they were the first I called when we moved into our new place. In fact, Marjorie arranged for Isaac to come out the same day we moved in. They return your calls quickly and when you have any issues you call and receive a prompt response. They are great and I am thankful for their service as I really and truly hate bugs. Thanks, Marjorie and Issac for making us one happy and critter-​free family!

Just had Bill from Antac come out and assess our ant problem. He’s a great guy full of life and passion. We’ve had a really bad ant problem for the last couple years. We found a colony with thousands of larvae in our garage a few days ago and knew that it was time to get some help.
Bill went over every nook and cranny of the house and sprayed with a chemical solution (harmless to mammals). It’s too early in the game to know if then ants will be successfully KILLED, but the plan seems promising and Bill was very confident in assuring us that he will succeed.
We will just have to wait it out now until further notice!

Our pest control guy is awesome, he’s completely eliminated our cockroach problem. He knows exactly what we need to do and he helps us get the proper treatment so we don’t need to worry about it for a long period of time.
They are honest people and charge a reasonable amount for their services. I strongly recommend using them for all your pest control services.

So antac may be great for pest control, but I used them in getting section 1 clearance for a house we were purchasing. We needed about 10k in work done on a deck that is about 40 feet in the air.
They were very nice to begin with and accommodating, but when it came down to the work, they tried to be as cheap as possible and had guys going up without any protective measures 40 ft in the air. They never brought big saw horses to let the boards dry on so all the boards were laid wet on top of eachother. And they dried and stuck together. Then instead of fixing it they just put the boards down and rolled over it, splattering paint EVERYWHERE. There’s was paint left everywhere, on the house on the concrete in the fridge, it was crazy!
Some materials went missing and instead of just looking into the issue, the reply I got was «it wasn’t there when we got there» thankfully I came out most days to take pictures of the project and had proof. Later I stepped on the deck and one board hadn’t been replaced and my foot went about halfway through it.
After pointing out the issues they did have people come by to fix things, but they missed a lot and caused other damage while here. when I let Mike know, he just didn’t reply.
Now I have to get other companies to come out and have to try to get a charge back through my credit card/​take it to small claims. Really sad because I chose this company based on their reviews

I recently bought a new home and after only two hours of being in the home, I discovered several flea bites on my legs. The home was infested with fleas! I immediately called Antac, and Priscilla and Katlyn were very understanding and sent someone out the very next day. Alek did not rush me and listened to what I wanted done and thoroughly sprayed the house. I noticed several dead silverfish the next day and my flea problem seemed to go away. Two weeks later Isaac came out to do a follow up treatment. He was very polite and spend a good amount of time treating my home, which I greatly appreciated. Afterwards, I was convinced to sign up with the yearly plan because 1) they are easy to get a hold of and make appointments 2) the servicemen are knowledgable and thorough. Thanks Antac!

This is a great company with exceptional people working there and I’m glad to be part of the Antac team!

The girls in the office are less than sufficient. They lost my spot for an inspection and then tried to reschedule it a week later when I told them I missed a whole day of work for this inspection.
They did come within the same week only because I waited 8hrs for the inspection. They came in to fumigate and heat up my apartment. When I came home my entire place was trashed!!! All of my furniture was flipped and tossed in to separate rooms. My blinds were laying in front of my apartment bldg.
I specifically told them I had just broken my coccyx (tailbone). You would think they would at lest put my furniture back but nope…
I WILL NEVER CALL THEM FOR ANOTHER SERVICE AGAIN!

Let me start by saying none of these employees would want to be told on a Friday that the dead rat could not be picked up until Monday.
They charged my company $ 250 initial fee. I was told by a woman on the phone that it included everything from baiting, trapping, sealing holes, interior and exterior.
The technician came and quoted another $ 285 for the sealing. Extremely ridiculous that it was not mentioned initially!
Then technician tells me that i can call to have him come up everyday to check the trap if i wanted.
The rat gets caught on the trap in the middle of the night on Thursday and I call the following morning. The operator tells me they don’t have anyone to pick it up and they wouldn’t until Monday.
Well isn’t that just wonderful? I have to have a diseased dead rat stinking up my business until Monday? Dead rat gasses being released since Thursday night… Unable to be served after paying $ 250 for them to put some peanuts down and a rat trap. Supposedly including them to seal any holes and come daily to check. Now we have to wait until Monday?!?
I did not yell nor complain. I said okay because I am not well versed on dead rats. My employee tells me it is stinking badly.
Long story short, i found NO ONE in San Diego to pick up a dead rat from my business on a Saturday at 6pm.
My poor employee was paid to do that toxic job.
In essence, find a different company… This one misquotes and leaves you hanging after you have a toxic dead rodent in your presence. After $ 250 initial fee, you are stuck taking care of it on your own. Crap!!!
I don’t even write negative reviews like this… But this is a FACT. I don’t complain… But this is ridiculous. I bet the Antac manager or general manager or owner would never accept «Monday» (3 days after rat death– no specific time) …
Find a reputable company with more stars. This company is terrible.
