Skilled in all areas of grooming– including all breed specific styles (including poodles), beautiful hand scissoring, cat grooming, tough-​to-​handle pets, senior pets, puppies, flea control, skin issues, de-​shedding, etc. We can groom all but the very largest sized dogs in our vans, and at any location. Most of all we specialize in loving your pet! We try everything we can to make your pets grooming experience as relaxed and stress-​free as possible, and to make you as happy as possible with us!

History

Established in 2007.

Started by Tara & Marty Cohen. Olga groomed for them for almost 4 years, then bought the business from them in Dec 2014, and now runs it as owner/​operator.

Olga Brumm has worked in different professional fields, including being a psychologist, a manager at a big corporation, and a paralegal at a law firm. But, being unhappy with office work, and while volunteering for the Chicago Animal Anti-​Cruelty Society, she realized that working with animals was so much more emotionally rewarding! So, she dropped everything and enrolled in the Chicago Academy of Grooming Arts, which she graduated from in 2007. Since then she worked at an upscale downtown Chicago grooming studio and, after moving to California in 2011, she has been working for Animal Artistry Grooming ever since. Olga enjoys being around animals, making a grooming process a truly «spa-​like» experience for a pet– playful, relaxing, and stress-​free. She believes that becoming a groomer has been her smartest professional move, and that grateful kisses from a pet at the end of a grooming session are the best «perks and bonuses» of her work. Olga has a rescued dog, Bailey, and a cat Zosya.

We’ve had our two Maltese groomed by Olga for over a year now and she always does an amazing job. She always arrives at our house on time, and our dogs come back looking super pretty!!!

I started using Animal Artistry after my cat was cut a couple times (accidentally) by another groomer. Not many groomers do a careful, competent job on cats. Animal Artistry is a mobile groomer that comes to my house causing much less stress for my cat than brick and mortar options. I’ve had several different groomers over the years and they have all done an excellent job.

we had been a regular customer of animal artistry grooming for a couple of months when we started having problems with the owner. let me start first by saying the individual groomers were really good. we had Olga come out several times and she was always on time and left our dog looking great. our problems started when we started dealing with the owner. after booking an appointment we had a personal matter come up, long story short, even though we had given several days notice, the owner was very rude and made it seem like she was doing us a favor by offering her business to us. she even suggested that «from now on, we take our dog to petco, cause they can accommodate our schedule.» after the conversation my wife was in tears because she felt like was was being yelled at. needless to say we stopped doing business with them only to have different groomer show up at our door a couple of days later (apparently no one in the main office had told her we had canceled our appointment, it was super awkward) once again the individual groomers were great and Olga is really talented, which makes our experience with the owner that much more disappointing.

We have had Olga cut both our dogs hair a couple times. She asks what we want and that’s what she does. The most important thing is after they are clipped they run around the house and back to Olga so I know she takes good care of them.

I’ve used Animal Artistry three times now for my cat Carrot. Needless to say, he’s a big, strong boy with sharp claws and I know he can’t possibly be an easy subject. He used to get very upset being taken to brick and mortar groomers and once he came out foaming at the mouth and went to the bathroom on himself he was so scared. Trying a mobile groomer was my last option, but he gets severe mattes so I have to do something.
These guys are fantastic. They come to your house and take their time to do the best job possible. Carrot comes out rubbing against the groomer like they are besties and you can just tell the way he struts that he feels good about himself and is ready to regain his role as Mayor of the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Animal Artistry just left our home and I couldn’t be happier! My poodle mix absolutely hates bathing evan at home but to go in for grooming and spend hours… I seriously could hear the ‘tire screaching’ as she would plant all four feet and refuse to walk into the groomer!
Our girl spent time with Olga today and she was wagging her tail when she came up the front walk after her ‘spa day’. I was so pleased to hear she did very good during her grooming.
Olga was sensitive to my requests for her care and I will be a repeat customer. I highly recommend Animal Artistry for your grooming needs.

Our two dogs could not be happier when and after the team from Animal Artistry tend to their every need, whether it be the bath the trim or even the detail taken to style our female shitzus eye lashes. Would recommend them to anyone, also very prompt and courteous

We have used Animal Artistry Grooming for about 2 years and are very happy with Tara. We have 2 yorkies and a yorkie mix and she does a wonderful job every time. The dogs just go right out to her van and come in smelling wonderful and looking good. The dogs love not being away from home all day and in a cage at a local groomer we used before. I would highly recommend Tara and Animal Artistry Grooming.

After I lost my spouse eight years ago, my friends talked me into getting a cat to keep me company, so, I began the search and found «Henry». He was an 11 year old long haired Persian who had been abandoned and left at the Susan Ford Foundation. The look in his eyes told me he was a no nonsense cat who did what he pleased, when he pleased.
At the time I knew nothing about cats, but it didn’t take long to discover I needed help. So, I began a new search for a groomer and that’s when I found Tara and Animal Artistry Grooming. Like clockwork, Tara has shown up every eight weeks for almost seven years and has totally taken over his grooming. I trust Tara completely. Henry is now almost 18 years old and suffers from arthritis in his hips but he is still going strong. Tara baby’s him and treats him like her own. If you want a conscientious and caring groomer, get a hold of Animal Artistry Grooming, they will do you a great job at a reasonable price.

I am very picky when it comes to getting my dogs groomed.
I have 2 big 80 pound Old English Sheepdogs.
Both of them hate being groomed and my male tends to be very nippy.
Olga was our groomer and she was WONDERFUL!
She was earlier then expected (I wished she just would of called)
but that was fine we were at home.
Both my dogs instantly feel in love with her.
She had a pre-​grooming consultation with me to confirm everything wanted done
After 3 hours of grooming my dogs looked fantastic!
and it was $ 90 each dog totally at $ 180 which is actually really cheap
especially when your dogs have 6 inch long double coated hair haha.
I have been and will continuing recommending them to friends and family!

Made an appointment for a bath and cut. The entire appointment lasted only an hour. Thought we were on the same page with the cut, but received my dog back shaved to the skin. We could actually see her skin. Her head an tail were left long, she looked a q-​tip.

Animal Artistry Grooming comes to our house every 8 weeks to groom our dogs and, though they are completely different breeds with distinct grooming requirements, they are happy and look and smell FABULOUS when we get home!
One of our dogs requires clipping… and I tried to «trim» him myself once to disastrous effect… Jeneane fixed him up and has been grooming the dogs beautifully since.
Pricey, but WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you, Tara!

I try to do as much grooming at home as I can, being that I have 5 curly dogs. There are times when I need the help of a professional, but have always hated having my dogs stuck in a cage for several hours at other groomers.
I asked around for someone to recommend a good mobile groomer in Poway, but nobody had any experience that they thought was that great. I decided to just try Animal Artistry, after doing a google search. The prices almost completely scared me off when I got asked how much it would cost. I am used to spending a lot less at the salons.
I went ahead and gave it a try anyway because they include anals and a sanitary trim in the base price. I had 3 dogs done in my driveway in less than 3hours hours. It was the best groom any of them have ever had. One of the dogs is a special needs senior and his face has never looked cleaned since I’ve had him — even after other grooms. He came out spotless! Another of my dogs has had mixed reviews from previous groomers. In fact, hearing that he has growled and snapped at other groomers led me to pretty much groom him myself all the time. He wasn’t upset at all with this groomer.
I will be using again.

Tara is the only groomer I will allow to touch our little yorkie. After poor experiences at PetSmart and Petco, we found Tara. Her van is very clean, she comes to us, parks right in front of our house and our dog loves her! Our Yorkie always looks beautiful after her play dates with Tara. To top it all off, she charges less than most other grooming companies and does a much better job. But mostly– We love knowing that our dog is being treated well while getting her bath/​hair cut.
