AMC Palm Promenade 24

The only AMC me and my girlfriend enjoy going to, great ticket prices and has multiple theaters big and small, always go for a stubs card because it gives you rewards and let’s you buy tickets online without being charged the Convenience Fee, so just bring your debit card and pick them up and enjoy your movie!
Recommend to all South San Diego residents!

AMC on Palm Ave is my spot and it is always the best spot to watch a movie. very comfortable and join the rewards club for great deals. 2 for 1 and discounts on soda, popcorn and food is always a great deal. definitely go watch a movie at AMC 24 Palm Promenade

As we sit here waiting to see Star Wars, I have plenty of time to leave a review. It is New Year’s Eve 10:40 and they gave a disgusting already worn and NOT clean 3D glasses. W T F?!? There were a shit load in bags when we bought tix, yet they sift through already worn and smeared with grease glasses, truly foul

Super clean theater! Went to the Imax 3D movie for Star Wars –recently released. Came on a week night at a 7:45 showing. Tons of seats (over 400 in the 1 Imax 3D theater). Sweet! Great prices! Every seat has a great view AND there is plenty of room to walk between the seats even with people sitting in them. Theater opened 30 mins before movie so we had plenty of time to grab our seats AND get popcorn, snacks, etc before the previews even came on. Happy. Happy Super happy!!!

This is probably my favorite theater. Saw star wars here most recently. We bought our tickets for a 6pm showing and ended up wanting to go at 3 and they were gracious enough to immediately change our tickets for us without any kind of surcharge or extra fee. Also…$ 5 tickets! That’s my favorite part.
Definitely better than the theaters closer to my house (mission valley, fashion valley) well worth the drive for the ticket prices. Side note, everyone knows about the cheap tickets! Get there early! Its always busy and the parking lot is always full.

Very decent movie theater with great price for first run movies (two tickets for Star Wars right after the opening weekend for less than $ 9 total)! The theater is clean and neat, the screen is huge and the sound effect great. The seats are very comfortable if not super modern.

I went to AMC yesterday to watch star wars! Omg first of all pre sale tickets we were able to get online. Once we picked up the tickets, AMC was very well organized for the event and they were ready. The lines to buy popcorn were not busy and the movie was great!

This is a firme theatre. Good deal when u come before 4pm. They’ll let u in Free if u tell them Big Daddy sent u. Booya! : — P

Honestly I think this is the best one, they have cheaper prices and plenty of parking and variety of movies but I do miss when they used to open the right side of the theater.

This AMC is relatively clean, their prices are standard. The only downside is that sometimes the windows aren’t fully staffed on an opening night for a big movie and there are lines that are longer than what I’ve typically experienced at other AMC theaters. Their automated ticket system is usually working, which is a plus, but it could be running more often (as it is more convenient than waiting in line).
Overall, I would say that I enjoy going to this theater. They have really good showtimes because of how many theaters that they have at this location.

Very big movie theater great staff always parking and the the movie are $ 4.50 before 4 pm shows I really like this AMC

Hey, AMC, please clean your theatres between movies. We just sat down in #6 for the 8:30pm Spectre, and there was trash on and in the seats/​cuphholders, swedish fish loose on a seat, and Sprite cans in 2 of 3 cupholders (of available seats in this row). We’d sit elsewhere, but this was the only spot open for 3 people unless we wanted to sit in the neckbreakers at the front. Gross!
As for the employees, they are super friendly, front restrooms kept clean (back ones are icky), and ticket prices are great for southern California.

For a «dollar type theatre» this is a luxury treat.
It’s an actual AMC with All the new release movies and the prices are from 4 – 6 without out any aaa, military or gov Id!
The food is regular priced, the seats and ambiance is nice. Parking has not been a problem either. If your within 30 min drive it’s worth the drive!

Let’s get one thing straight: this theater isn’t a theater where you can just relax and watch a movie. There is ALWAYS at least one baby or some teens talking in the back. The price though is unbeatable. $ 4 for anything before 3pm is awesome. $ 6 after 3pm isn’t bad either.
If you can sit thru a movie with a few distractions than this is the theater to go to. If not, don’t waste your time.

i wish they would re open the north half of the theater they could do classic movies or something there. overall i go here because of the location and price. if it wasn’t for the price it would get 2 – 3 stars. also you need to show up early since this location has no reserved seating.

Ticket prices are good but concessions can be expensive. Movies are just not that good anymore but for $ 6 or $ 4 if you come before 4, it’s worth a try

Prices are great!
They always have the new movies that come out that are worth paying for. I hate paying $ 13 for a regular movie (not 3D or IMAX). Especially if I’m not satisfied with the movie afterwards. Before 4, movies are $ 4 and after, it is $ 6. IMAX 3D movies are lik, $ 11 and 3D is around $ 9.
If you’re coming to see a new movie, chances are you have to wait in lines to get in for first come first serve seating, but that’s not bad. Just plan accordingly.
You cannot beat these prices!
The parking lot is huge and there is ways parking.
But like every movie theatre, sometimes the movie theatre floors are sticky, and also the cup holders. But that is pretty minor.

Super cheap! The prices are really good here and if you’re military you get a discount! Cheaper than other movie theaters?! Yes! Since I pay such a good price I get snacks and drinks and feel good about it lol
The place is ok it can be messy sometimes but they tend to clean up very well! I remember once I came here and hot popcorn they gave me a bag filled with crumbs): I was sad and took it back and they gave me a whole new bag! So I wasn’t mad or anything. Def appreciate that they helped me fast.
The rooms here are small so if it’s a new movie get there ahead of time so you can get a good seat! I have been going here a lot often since I’m kind of close by and the price is worth it (:

Watched the Avengers here last night. — Quick and easy. since we purchased our tickets on Fandango we pick them up at the kiosk then headed to the 8pm line. Waited about 20 mins until we were let in.
Spotted some good seats.
The floors were sticky! Gross! i was wearing flip flops and they were sticking to the ground as we walked.
The Avengers is a good movie!!!

A movie is a movie. Well, I do like that this particular AMC lowered their prices.
It’s nice to take the whole family and not break the bank.
The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is your regular movie theater fixings. The theaters are clean though not state of the art but it gets the job done.
I will go here for my regular movies, you can’t beat the value for your money.
