Joanie loves the adventure of creating a unique session for each client, every time they walk through the door. While the adventures of being a business owner keep her very busy, her main focus is achieving results with her clients. A lifelong learner, Joanie cannot help but stay on the cutting edge of training and certification and is constantly offering up tidbits of information to help improve the quality of life for her clients. She” walks her talk” and is dedicated to living a healthy life through the help of regular exercise, eating well, and taking top of the line supplements to fill in the gaps. Joanie loves answering any questions you may have about massage or supplements, and if she doesn’t have the answer, she will find someone who does!

Joanie is wonderful! I suffer from Fibromyalgia and Lupus, Joanie understood how much more sensitive my body is to pressure. I was in so much pain when I got to my appointment today after over doing it on a home improvement project yesterday. She has magic hands and a warm heart. We shared quite a laugh together. I left feeling so much better, relaxed and happy after my appointment. Thank you so much!

Joanie is great, just had a massage with her today! I still feel relaxed, even hours later! She has a nice touch, her room is cozy and I felt very comfortable with her. She gave me some good tips for stretching and preventing headaches, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend treating yourself to one of her massages!

Joanie is amazing! From the minute I picked up the phone to the minute I left the studio I was getting 5 star treatment! She really listened and understanded what you want and need. She is super compassionate about what she does and you can tell by the way you leave feelings healed and refreshed. The studio is located rift by the beach in Pacific Beach! No need to worry about parking… there’s a whole lot!
If you are looking for an excellent healer than you came to the right place. Not only will I be a lifelong friend with Joanie but also a lifelong client!

Joanie has been working with me since she started her training, and is amazing! She is wonderful at «reading» my body, and always takes the time to make sure I am getting what I need. I feel refreshed and «noodly» after every session.
In addition, Joanie finally made me realize that deep tissue is wonderful! All previous massages I had gotten actually hurt when they used deep tissue, but Joanie does it perfectly and it has the desired effect (i.e. relaxation and less soreness!).
I highly recommend ARNB to everyone!

After a little too much fun during a post-​Halloween party with some friends, one of them graciously called Joanie to set up massage appointments for a few of the girls. This is my first full-​body massage, and I only have three words for you: Joanie is AWESOME!
A professional with a bubbly personality, it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. She even managed to massage away the headache I had for two days. At the end of my massage, I didn’t want to get off the table. I spent the rest of my day being lazy and ended up having the best sleep I’ve had in a long time that night.
