Gotta love the local 7 – 11!!! The best part of this 7 – 11 are the employees. They’re always nice, and the owner Malik always gets people in and out quickly. The prices here aren’t the cheapest, but for a local corner store, they get the job done without breaking your wallet just for snacks. The lunch hour can get pretty crowded because all the surrounding schools, so you may want to avoid this spot during lunch time if you’re in a hurry. Along the same line, parking can be tough to find here during lunch hours. There are typically people loitering in the front of the store, but that’s somewhat expected at 7 – 11. If you want to buy alcohol here just remember they stop selling alcohol at 10pm. Overall, I highly suggest this place for late night snacks… Try the 7 – 11 thin mints!!!

I have been a patron of this seven eleven for two years, and now will NEVER go there again, all due to events in the last two weeks. About two weeks ago, I went into the store during the graveyard shift. The clerk, knowing that I often pay with cash, quoted me a price verbally that was three dollars more than the listed price. When I went to pay with my credit card, the price was lowered to the price listed on the credit card terminal. I thought it may have been a mistake, and left it at that. The next time, I tried to pay for my items with cash, and was told that I had to pay with a credit card by the clerk, Genet. Yesterday, I tried to order some hot items, and was told that she wouldn’t cook them for me, but I was welcome to order one of the items that was sitting under the heat lamps for at least an hour. As I usually spend at least $ 100 per week there, I expect at least a minimal amount of service from the staff. There is a seven eleven at the corner of 5th and broadway which I will go to from now on.

This 7 – 11 is close, convenient and clean. All the things I look for in a convenience store, the fact that they are open 24 hours a day and always have fresh hot coffee and snacks means that I come here often.

For a 7 – 11 this is definitely 4 stars. It’s organized and clean. Not much more to say but I really did appreciate those two aspects.

Nothing wrong with this 711. You can get all the hot dogs, cappuccinos, nachos, ice cream, and bottled drinks you could want. Watch out at night though, this place is psychos r’ us. There have been at least 3 times I was standing behind someone I though was going to rob the place or assault the cashier.(I was prepared though… Poised to bust that fools melon with a bottle of smart water… Very smart indeed) all three times though the whacko cussed out poor Yosef, for no apparent reason, then took off.

convenient location close to work, staff is friendly and clean. Like every 7 eleven everything is over priced. This location recently started selling beer, nice. The ice cream freezer is not cold enough so stay away. They don’t have enough slurpee flavors. The food is pre-heated around early am(8is) so I would stay away from anything in the rollers/heat lamps.

I went up to the counter to purchase some peanut butter. The price came up different from the price tag. I advised the clerk that I was over charged and to honor the price on the item tag. She stated that it was the extra tax. I advised that is not the case. Then she stated that the items automatically change price every six months and that the computer cannot be changed. I did not purchase the item and walked away feeling like I was being taken advantage of. Look out for these swindlers, they will over charge you and then lie to you about why they are doing it.

During the black out last week this particular 7-Eleven was kind enough to stay open AND rip off their customers. They partaked in price gouging and refused to give change to ther customers. Thank you for charging $ 2.50 for a bottle of water priced at $ 1.79. And when questioned the owner said, well I’m nice enough to stay open when every one else is closed so… REALLY? He also said he wasn’t giving change and all the money he was putting directly in the vault.

If the person ahead of you is «feeling lucky» and decides to buy a lottery ticket, BEWARE! You, my friend, are basically sh*t outta luck. It takes forever! I will say that it is clean and they serve a variety of you know, junk food & what not, but a lot of sketchy folk come in & out. I guess that’s to be expected. On the weekends, this place is hopping! Have fun!

It’s a 7-Eleven. It’s clean. It’s open 24⁄7. What more can you want? And they are getting their beer license any month now. Yeah.

As far as 7-Eleven’s go this place is one of the cleaner ones I’ve stepped into. They don’t sell any alcohol, but I can see how that keeps out the less-than-savory folk. I have to say I tried the Jalapeño and Cream Cheese«Taquito»(they look like taquitos, but they’re not really made of taquito), and it was surprisingly delicious. Out of all the conveniences this place offers, my need to review stems from their blueberry flavored coffee. On the mornings that I have a few minutes to grab a $ 1.69 large cup of coffee I go straight for the blueberry pot. It’s like some sort of crack-laced beverage delivered by Eos herself. The workers are nice enough and the place well-kept and out of all the convenience-like places in Cortez Hill, this one offers a larger variety of items.

I went in one week to grab some hot chocolate, and it was the best I had ever gotten from a 7-eleven. I was dying to go back the next week, and I got the same thing, and it was terrible! It was as though the chocolate were mixed with the hazelnut flavoring, or with the cappuccino that was also being served out of the same machine. I realized how bad it was, and I returned to get some real hot chocolate, and the same thing happened. The cashier showed me the machine and how it dispenses the beverages, and it appeared as though the chocolate mix was in the right place, but what was dispensed was most certainly NOT hot chocolate. There wasn’t anything else she would do for me, and the manager/owner was not in, so I had to eat my $ 1.69. Very disappointing, though I appreciate the fact that she was as accommodating as she could me.

Yes! Finally, we have somewhere to buy coffee and snacks without walking far from the office. This 7 – 11 popped up last week and is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Now it is brand new and shiney clean. The pastires look fresher with new, clean glass cases. They have a convenient store, hot food, the usual deli which features sushi(a bit scarey in a convenient store), a coffee bar, and my very favorite which is the iced coffee machine. Right now choose hazelnut or vanilla and get a 16oz. for 99 cents! The pizza looked great, as they are cut into tiny slices that look neat and easy to eat, but tasted like convenient-store pizza so I won’t be buying them again. For now, it is great to have everything I need right at the corner, and this store is well-organized and spacious.
