We are a green company that strives to run our business with environmental awareness and sustainability on our minds. We offer Organic produce grown in your own back yard. We urge our customers to use compost bins as well as worm bins to not only reap the benefits of organic compost and worm castings but to do their part in reducing outgoing waste. Organics Out Back creates gardens that give not only to our customers, but also to the community, by donating produce to local shelters and food banks.

History

Established in 2008.

Organics Out Back is a local family run company. Owner Chris Garcia, has been an avid edible gardener for many years. Taught by his Grandmother Frances (Master Gardener), and good olé trial and error. He has mastered the vegetable garden in our Southern California environment. Chris strives to run his company with integrity, amazing customer service, and a final product you can’t wait to taste.

Hello out there Yelp! I have always loved gardening. I really feel there is something spiritual and therapeutic about gardening that has yet to be quantified. I love to say that I love what I do. I love the excitement of seeing a garden grow from week to week. I love the battle that sometimes has to happen with pesky bugs, (it gets fun when there aren’t any chemicals involved. It becomes a fair fight in my opinion). I love the taste, smell and look of a freshly picked fruit or vegetable. I love that in Southern California we have the most amazing growing seasons. I especially love the look on a customers face when they see their very own garden producing. I love seeing the excitement in a child’s eyes when they first discover that broccoli comes from a plant and it’s in their very own garden, or that a carrot is fun to pull up and eat with a little dirt (organic dirt) on it. Did I say I love my job?
