We have used Steve with Handyman Can for a few years and although I hesitate to recommend anyone
I have no hesitation with Steve. He has always done an excellent job for us. I have referred him to my friends and neighbors here in San Clemente and they have been happy with his work as well. He is honest, very capable and has a good work ethic.

Had some safety bars installed in my shower for my father in-​law. Called Steve Tuesday and he told me over the phone exactly what to buy and he was out on Friday although was available the next day if needed. He was very knowledgeable and installed them on our tiled shower walls. Reasonable rates and excellent clean work! I look forward to calling him out on our next job!

Steve and his lovely wife came and helped me get my built in fridge out. Expert, professional and so easy going we got along right off the bat.
He came when none of the other local guys I called even replied back. I am so grateful for the service. He even thought of taking care as not to scratch the wood flooring in the house. Attention to detail and foresight is crucial and he has it.

We called Steve about reconfiguring a gas stub to accommodate a new range. Steve picked up immediately and as it happened was completing another job in the neighborhood. He offered to stop by to have a look. Within an hour the work on our stove was completed, including a trip to Lowes to obtain the correct piece of pipe. Steve was absolutely professional, pleasant to work with, and reasonably priced. Before he left he stopped to ensure that our water heater pilot light was properly reset and not affected by the residual air that can be found in the pipe when you shut off the gas. Very thoughtful!

I had a small job that I couldn’t do myself. I called a couple of people locally and Steve was the one who answered his phone and seemed happy to talk with me. We set up an appointment time. Steve called prior to that time because he was running about ½ hour late and wanted me to know. Wow. Just wow. Only someone who cares about customer service does that!
The job took an hour or less and that included a trip for supplies. Job completed and quoted price charged. I’m happy because I just found my new handyman. If you’re reading this and undecided, just give Steve a call and talk with him. That doesn’t cost anything!
