I am in construction and I have ordered about 5 houses worth of tile from this place. We are talking about 12 upscale trendy bathrooms, 4 kitchens, endless floor tiles…
The value is superior to anything out there. Porcelanosa and many other chic manufacturers at really good prices.
Very efificient and knowledgeable staff, you always feel like a VIP in there.
Delivered on time, as promised, never a glitch. I cannot think of why I would be going anywhere else.

Jake at Velletri was amazing. He was super kind on our first visit to show us the various slabs (we bought 2 for our kitchen), look at our drawings to figure everything out, and give us very competitive pricing. He then spend countless hours over email re-​working things with me. He also was so efficient and kind with his follow up with the fabricators all the way through install. I can’t say enough good things! The end result is stunning!

This place saved my job and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Last year we remodeled 3 bathrooms, this year the kitchen so I’m on my way back to the store. I had chosen a discontinued tile. They got it for me. We ran short of a tile, they got it in from LA, and DROVE IT TO MY HOUSE within 48 hours. Also, I had gotten a bunch of Porcelanosa tile at their 40% off sale, and found that Velletri carries it routinely at 30% off!
Everyone else has said what I think; I copied this from another Unilocal because it’s so accurate:
1. customer service: the two guys and Estee who run the place are quick, concise, and precise and go out of their way to make it work for the customer
2. knowledge: they didn’t hesitate in dispensing product knowlege with whatever I asked.

Buyer beware! Masoud Fakurnejad manages his tiles and customers very differently from his beautiful showroom and knowledgeable staff. He told me today that he never allows customers to inspect their tile prior to purchase (inspect for quality), and that he flatly does not allow «exchanges» of stock tiles if previously purchased ones are chipped or flawed in some manner. Once the tile leaves his property, inspected or not, it better not come back. I purchased stock floor tile that had more than half the pieces damaged. He actually told me to just use them anyway for «cut» pieces. Yelling and accusing is another of his «handling» approaches. After I paid the full restocking fee, purchased new tile from him, the next day he proceeded to speak disrespectfully and remind me that he should have not allowed me to return the product. Massed also tried to blame my contractor for «mis-​handling» the tile during transit. He mentioned that «filled and honed» travertine was supposed to have holes, chips, and rough spots. Lastly, he asked me «how do I know you didn’t break it on purpose?» What the heck?

I’d have to say that the good things about this place are —
1. customer service: the two guys who run the place are quick, efficient, concise, and precise.
2. knowledge: they didn’t hesitate in dispensing product knowlege with whatever I asked.
3. showroom setup: clean and organized.
4. quality high-​end selection, which goes hand-​in-​hand with great looking products
So if you read what I had to say, what comes to mind next… price. Of course, with all of these great amenities comes a higher price. Now, I totally understand that higher price could very well be worth it — if cost and budget are not necessarily the highest determining factors for you.
I came here based on one of the many vendor suggestions made by my contractor, and within two afternoons, selected what I liked for the backsplash and countertop. Since I couldn’t find anything that I loved for the floor, however, I went to another vendor down the street where I found a floor tile brand that I had seen on the web and the other items (but not the exact same brand) for a more competitive price.
I purchased the countertop from Velletri. Note that there was a minor mix-​up in getting the materials guy to my house to get the template for the countertop done; they had contacted me rather than my contractor to get an appt. setup, whereas I didn’t know that my contractor had been expecting their call. The guy came by, and to be honest, he seemed totally checked out, making me internally question whether or not they really knew what they were doing.
The countertop DID work out though, so bottom-​line, I came out happy.

Jake was great. He let me take home tiles and wood samples several times. He knew me by name and was very helpful and friendly. We are thrilled with the cashmere mirage wood we bought and his price was very good. A wonderful experience. I highly recommend this store.

What a wonderful find! This shop has great selection. I purchased a quartz counter top, mosaic metallic trim and beautiful marble tiles for my master bathroom remodel. I was just browsing in the store and happened to spot a mosaic metallic trim in their design room. I haven’t found the same trim since and it looks beautiful! Estee helped me figure out how much trim I needed. I told her what I was planning to do and she gave me some helpful advice.
I love everything I purchased from Velletri and their cusomer service is fantastic. Their showroom is beautiful and I love the quality of their products.
If you are doing a remodel or just upgrading, you really should give this place a try.

What I love about this store is they have a great selection without being overwhelming. I have been to numerous stores over the years, and some shops can be «information overload» and I shut down with trying to figure out what I like. Then I get frustrated with the project and it is no longer fun and creative – just trying to get it done.
The customer service at Velletri is 5+ stars. Everyone is extremely knowledgable and helpful, with the bonus of having a great sense of style. They can quickly narrow down options for you, that match your taste and budget. Additionally, they are very patient, no matter how small or large the project. They truly want you to be happy.

We recently did a complete remodel of our bathroom. We were very nervous choosing tiles (not knowing if at the end everything was going to work together).
The moment we entered the store we loved their first sample on the floor: Strado Blue (Italian Porcelain), so we got it for our bathroom floor and also used the same tiles, cut in smaller size (2×2) for the shower pan, per the store suggestion, and we loved the end result!
In addition, we also got the «Italian Gold Calacatta» tiles for the vanity backsplash.
Very pleased with the result and the service from the store.

Very good tile company. Beautiful showroom. Jake was extremely patient and helpful with us. We went in about 3 or 4 times and each time he was very attentive. Jake was also very efficient ordering our tiles and making sure that everything came in on time. We were very happy working with Velletri and highly recommend them.

Velletri has been my GO TO stone and tile supplier throughout my remodel process. From the very beginning, Estee and the team held me by the hand and delivered PERSONAL service that went above and beyond.
We miraculously found tiles that I liked (I’m super picky), discussed borders and grout, and I was on my way. I of course, bugged them and spent far too much time there on a weekly basis so you can imagine what kind of customer I am. Estee did everything she could to make me happy, including honoring pricing, quickly coming up with solutions to issues, and price matching from competitors. AMAZING!
Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of product that you get, and Velletri is always running specials so make sure you ask! I drove around for MONTHS to SF and the East Bay to compare product quality and pricing, and at the end, I found Velletri to be the best. Hands down.
Without Estee and the team’s help, I couldn’t have done it alone. I feel at home everytime I stop by, and they all know me by name! TEN STARS!

I’ve being in business for 18 years, and can say that this is a great place: if you need tile with the best price, tile on time, good customer service where you know that someone is really looking after your order, that is the place to use.

I was very pleased with Velletri Stone Center. They have incredible customer service and the best natural stone quality. I did my research on Crema Marfil Marble way in advance before I went shopping for it. Amazingly, there are different gradings in natural stones and the price changes when u get the premium grade.
I have searched high and low for this marble all across the Bay Area in Premium Grade which has a lighter background with less veining and variations.
Went different places before I went here so I am pretty aware what I a buying and also the prices since this a large quantity for my entire house flooring.
Masoud who helped was particularly helpful and he shows a lot of passion in natural stones — explaining different gradings and how to identify commercial grading to premium, etc. He spent a couple of hours explaining how the material goes in production, quarry, blocks and the region of Spain for Crema Marfil and what to expect. Wow!!! I was very impressed because I can tell he knows his stuff.
Estee and Jake helped me to decide the pattern to layout the marble, borders, complementary colors for my walls with the marble. — this was extremely helpful because I was just planning to stack the Crema Marfil and that was it! They suggested for me to go diamond pattern in 18×18 with a darker marble border around the perimeter — Estee even drew out my floor pattern with the material and design so I can visualize it.
Superb customer service!!! They contacted my contractor when the materials arrive. Contractor came to inspect the materials and approved it. Goes the installation, this was the best marble in such a quality they provided me. Yes, the best I have seen and even more better than any pictures of Crema Marfil floor I’ve seen. Even my contractor said he never seen such a clean marble of this quality ever!
Again, I am extremely pleased with their stone. I guess when they mean premium, they weren’t joking. Thank you To all the staffs at Velletri for making this such a pleasant experience on my home remodeling. You guys have earned my forever business and I will be back on my next remodeling needs.

It’s a little tough to find, but once you walk through the door you had better be prepared to be stunned. The showroom is clean, bright an overflowing with options to choose from. Need something exotic? They’ve got it. Need something with an odd size? Need an insert tile to pop? They can get it for you too (this was a particularly helpful feature. I needed to order tile for my shower, and even though they didn’t have everything on hand it only took a couple of days for the store to pick it up for me).
As for customer service, pretty much elite. Massud was always accommodating. Estee — now she was something special. Spent a couple of hours going through my options. Not just showing me which direction I could turn, but telling me about the actual stone itself. Where did the stone came from? How it was quarried? What applications was it best for? Estee also took a look at a little piece of tile I brought in from the old shower that had been blasted away and damn near matched the color with the new stone. She knows more about stone than any person you’ve ever met. Oh, and she’s also got an interior design background that helps her to envision what things will look like when everything is put together. The results were fantastic — and my bathroom looks great.

Pros: Great tile selection. Nice layout in the store. Great assistance.
Cons: Lower prices can be found on same materials at other locations nearby. Do NOT use their contractor (s). Didn’t show up as planned. When they did arrive, didn’t show up with materials. Mismeasured and under ordered.

I am so glad that by chance I came across Velletri’s shortly after they opened. Walking into their bright and well laid out showroom I was pleased to see the large selection of tiles that they offer.
Finding the right materials for the bathroom I was remodeling had been a challenge up to that point. Once at Velletri I found the most beautiful marble for the bathroom floor as well as tiles for the shower floor and walls. And the prices are reasonable.
As great as their selection is, the most impressive part of shopping at Velletri is their customer service! Estee was a pleasure to work with and she went above and beyond to make sure that I got the materials I needed, when I needed them. When it turned out that I had didn’t have enough materials to complete the job, she took action immediately to get the additional tiles delivered asap. They came exactly when she said they would, which I’ve learned is not often the case in this industry. Additionally, when I told her about a counter slab I was looking for, she kept an eye out for it while on a business trip and texted me photos of what she found! Talk about being customer focused!
Next time I need to purchase tile, my first stop will be Velletri. To anyone shopping for tile, I whole heartedly recommend this company.

High-​end looking tile shop but don’t let this fool you as the prices is extremely competitive. I started remodeling a small bathroom to start out first with Velletri before committing to the rest of my house remodeling needs.
Truly, five-​stars all the way! Although, they are privately owned, they are serious with getting the best of the best natural stone tiles u could possibly get your hands on — they know their stuff and will not compromise on quality. Even so, their prices beats every store I have visited within 30 miles north and south of San Carlos. Note: I am very picking, willing to take my time and love expensive things but I do shop around to save money especially in this kind of economy.
Anyways, showroom sample represents exactly what I got with the fact of accept ing some slight variations due to dealing with natural stones. When they say Italian marble, no joke — box and everything proved so (I was at first hesitant due to their low prices but gave it a try since it was only a small bathroom to start).
A month later, on to my kitchen flooring. I got a sample from another showroom wishing Velletri has it — they did not have the travertine sample but they knew exactly where the material comes from and what part of the quarry of Turkey and where to source it out. From $ 6.50/SF at Da Vinci Marble, I got it for $ 4/​SF — -I am talking the EXACT material!!! This has already saved me a TON of money!!!
Over all, I am just so happy that they exist. Customer service is superb. Timing of materials is within 3 – 4 days only on most of their items which is very quick and worked out very well for my contractor to finish the job on time.

Over the years I have remodeled five houses and have visited probably 20 different tiles stores. Velletri Stone Center is by far my favorite! They have materials ranging from the good-​looking-​but-​affordable stuff you want to put in a rental property, to the most stunning marbles and wall glass for your own home. The best thing is that the prices are great. I have gotten used to driving down to San Jose to shop in ugly warehouse-​style showrooms so that I can get a good price. Velletri has similar prices in a showroom that looks like an art gallery, with great customer service. What a great
find!

My husband and I are doing a major remodel on a house we recently purchased – updating the bath and kitchen, and replacing the hardwood floors in the bedrooms. We visited Davinci, Chic Tiles, All Natural Stone, and some others, and had gotten some ideas but were still confused as to how to proceed.
We were also disappointed because we were having trouble finding things we liked that fit our budget. We didn’t want to settle for Home Depot, but we also couldn’t afford thousands for a bathroom floor.
Our last stop was at a store that we saw on the corner that we hadn’t heard about – Velletri Stone Center. Apparently the store just opened in April of 2013. The place is fantastic! The showroom had a huge selection of natural stone, and their prices are much better than any of the other stores we visited.
We ended up getting cararra marble mosaic for our bathroom paired with a bone white limestone for the floor. This would have been out of our price range at the other stores. The people who worked there were still busy setting up the store, but they were supper friendly and helpful.
They are now helping us with our wood floors, and have found some wood we love at a price that works for us.
