Twinkle Support

I know I don’t have many reviews under my account, but please don’t discount this. My sister hired Gabrielle for her son James who is now 11 months old, so when I got pregnant last year I knew I wanted to have her support with my son. She started when Jack was 5 weeks old and she came just in time when my husband and I were starting to really burn out. At first I thought she would just be giving us a little night relief, not realizing that it was sanity she would be gifting us. She took care of Jack from 10pm-​6am only bringing him to me if he needed to nurse. What I didn’t realize early on was she was supporting him in creating better sleep patterns (i.e. Soothing him to last longer between feeds)! By 7 weeks he was going on average 8 hours for the first stretch. By week 11 he was at 12 hours! Gabrielle is very knowledgable and often became our go to with Jack questions (still is). She super easy to get along with and was the one person I trusted immediately with my newborn. It’s the best investment you will make for your baby and your own wellbeing!

When we were pregnant with twins, we knew we’d need night help, though we didn’t know just how much.
We interviewed a few night nurses and Gabrielle was the best. She was available, knowledgable and confident. Originally we booked Gabrielle for 3 nights a week, though once the twins were born our lives were thrown upside down and Gabrielle became instrumental for those first 3.5 months, at 5 nights a week. We have an older son, so we needed our sleep. She was wonderful with the twins and was able to feed them, change them and get them back to sleep without barely a peep from them. She would also wake me up if I missed a pumping session.
Since we sleep trained our oldest, I knew how I wanted to sleep train the twins, and Gabrielle helped us with that too (she knows all the different flavors, so you just need to tell her how you’d like to do it)!
She’s wonderful and did a great job through and through. Each morning we’d wake up with all the bottles (and pumping gear) clean, organized and babies who were well taken care of. She even did a great job when they had colds and would log everything in our book so I could see how they did throughout the night.
She is so knowledgeable and loves the little babies. If she’s available, you’d be wise to book her asap.

My baby is almost 7 months old and all the time, I still think about how lucky we were to have had Gabrielle! I don’t think we had a particularly tough baby, but the first few months were tough for me, being a first time mom and dealing with the sleep deprivation, pressure, hormones, and birth recovery. I didn’t know much about babies at all, but Gabrielle taught me so much and was the SINGLE reason I made it through those early months and we’re doing well today. I learned *so* much from her. She helped a ton in figuring out breastfeeding and so many other things — from how to use the baby carrier, to pumping stuff, to the baby’s daily schedule… I could go on and on. She also set us up for success with sleep so that real sleep training would not be necessary.
Gabrielle is professional, caring, easy to talk to, non-​judgmental, resourceful, smart, and great at coming up with suggestions and solutions. She overall has a great personality and was always on time. She is young, energetic, and immeasurably helpful. My husband and I loved the nights that she came over, and would dread the nights that she had off. On the nights that we had Gabrielle, I was able to fall into a deep sleep knowing that she would handle the baby and wake me when I was needed.
On some particularly tough days with the baby, I would literally be counting down the minutes until Gabrielle arrived. It felt so awesome to have her show up at the door because I knew she would be able to help me work through whatever feeding or sleeping issues I’d been having with the baby that day.
Before having the baby, I really didn’t know what to expect from hiring a birth doula. But Gabrielle far, far exceeded my expectations and hiring her was really one of the most impactful, awesome decisions my husband and I made with regards to the baby. She got me through those tough first few months and was my main support, and I’m so grateful for that.

I met Gabrielle very early into my pregnancy and hired her on the spot.
First impression — punctual, sweet, kind, sincere, excellent with kids. I couldn’t wait for her to start working with me.
I loved having her in my house at night. I was rested during the hardest few months, my baby is on an excellent sleeping schedule thanks to Gabrielle for sure.
And she is full of knowledge– anything baby related, sleep, diapers, formula, any supplies and breastfeeding. The best part is, she is there at 3am when you can’t think logically and she is patient, kind and supportive. My first 3 months couldn’t have gone better. I literary cried the day she left.
My family loved having her in our lives. The best decision we have made for sure.

Gabrielle, or Saint Gabrielle as my husband called her, came into our lives at a time when we were unsure of everything. We had expected to come home from the hospital with our new baby and know exactly what to do, but boy were we wrong. Not only were we novices but I had a c-​section which made everything that much harder. About 10 days in we called Gabrielle and the moment she walked in the door we loved her. She held our son the entire time and talked to us about anything and everything about caring for our baby. I didn’t realize at the time that we would be doing a lot of this while I was nursing my son in the wee hours of the morning.
I credit my sons natural sleeping ability to her and this hasn’t changed throughout his life (he is now 15 months). Not only was she there in the early weeks to allow us to get our sleep but as the weeks rolled on she helped him sleep through the night by 2 months old and even came back at 3.5 months when he had a regression. I was unsure of everything as a new mom and needed someone to help me through those moments as I wondered if I was doing the right thing. Gabrielle was always just a text away with advice and was willing to talk me through any scenario that arose.
I’m so thankful for Gabrielle and the support she provided our family when our son was born and I will be calling her the moment I know baby #2 is on the way.
