Hands down the best cheese steak in Cali. Get the mushroom and Swiss with grilled onions. If you like fries the DON’T cheat you on servings! Did I mention beer? Yes they do! Cool beverage machine with every possible mix of Coke brand or tea known to humans! Great choice… stop in for a cheese steak!

Me and a friend went 10 minutes before closing time, and the chef said we can’t order because the establishment is closed. I told him its 10 minutes until closing, and then said they haven’t had a customer in the last half hour. Wish we went to this place, but unfortunately they didn’t want our service.

It’s sad how me and my friend traveled 8 miles and back, only to find that we couldn’t get serviced here 10 minutes before closing time. The manager doesn’t seem to care and just wants to get out soon, because his reason was that they haven’t had customers in over half an hour… Oh well.

First time trying cheesesteaks that aren’t frozen and I have to say it did not disappoint! Great food that is clearly and visibly made from quality fresh produce.

Overpriced, mediocre food. We got the mushroom steak, pizza steak, and jalapeño poppers. The cheese in the poppers cooled down and solidified fast. There were flies everywhere. Very disappointing.

Jersey Joe’s is exceptional bar food on steroids and excellence in cheesesteaks. It’s where I go when I’m feeling reckless abandonment to calories and carbs, or I simply have an insatiable craving for one of these deliciously, evil cheesesteaks. Jersey Joe’s creeped into my life one afternoon when someone brought cheesesteaks and fries for everyone at work. I returned one lunch hour and got the cheesesteak hoagie giving me the illusion of eating a sandwich with lettuce. Who was I kidding? My co-worker wanted a small side of chili– cheese fries. That ended up being quite a monstrosity but tasty. The other co-worker was nearing food coma status with his bacon double cheeseburger– nothing but praises about it, though. I think a burger will be my next victim. I love this place, and it’s worth the extra work that has to be done in the gym!

Don’t get the hype about this place, sandwiches are bland and too expensive. Not worth the money and won’t be back.

Mushroom Cheesesteak, extra mushrooms is fantastic. Prepared fresh, right in front of your eyes. The rolls are fresh and soft, just like Pat’s or Geno’s in Philly.(yes I have had them) Steak fries, cooked well. Beer on tap, always ice cold, soda machine has endless options. Always a game on. Always busy at lunch and dinner, ample parking in lot. They even do a low carb cheesesteak. Portion size is huge.

Love their cheesesteak sandwiches and its a huge portion to share with your significant other! Starts at @ $ 8.50 but once you add other ingredients, it does go up but so worth it. Did I say big portions?! ;-p They do offer onion rings and different kinds of fries like plain, garlic or pizza fries. I think they do more but my fave is garlic. One basket is a large to share with another person. They have sides and salads, too. They do have burgers and beers to drink. The place is a little run down but always busy! They don’t offer table service. Some tables and some booths to seat in. There is a private parking area as they are surrounded by other business. If you go here during work lunch, I would go early as it can be packed! It’s also busy during the weekends during regular meal times. Totally recommend this place.

I lived in northeast PA for 25 years and this is the closest to the original philly cheese steak i have had in california. They serve huge portions of finely chopped high end steak. The prices are california outrageous. $ 19 for a sandwich onuon rings and a drink. .for one! I would definately recommend giving this shop a try.

I live in PA now and have yet to have a cheesesteak as good as Jersey Joe’s. I miss this place. The thin sliced, chopped rib eye is high quality and melts in your mouth. I get the cheeseteak with onions and white american. The staff and owner where always friendly and service is quick respective of how many people are there. Their fries and especially onion rings are also good. I’ve been to many cheesesteak places in the Bay Area and this is by far my favorite. Note: Their burgers are also good, but why go to a cheesesteak place for a burger? Just get a cheesesteak, you know you want it.

Cheesesteak was yummy, generous amount of meat and cheese. Ambience is more like a chill place to drink and watch sports. Thats exactly what we did.

My boyfriend and I were staying in the area for a weekend about a month ago & we found this place on Unilocal so decided to try it out. It was so good! We just went back again today even though it’s half an hour away from us, it’s so worth it! We love their burgers & cheesesteaks! Their buffalo wings are good too! You definitely get your money’s worth! Service & environment are great too, especially if you’re a big sports fan. They got sports décor & play games on the TVs they got. Would definitely recommend you check it out!

I eat Philly cheesesteaks like once a year. This is probably my once a year allotment and I’m glad it was at Jersey Joe’s. The sandwich was pretty good. They give you a lot of meat. I think they could have given more cheese and onions but the flavor was still good. If you don’t eat a lot I would recommend splitting one with a friend. The bread is also quite thick. The cheese fries were crazy. I probably would just get regular fries next time since they were just okay. The water for some reason tastes really good.

They do not have great beer selection, yet they have one of my favorite: Deschutes Black Butte Porter. They seem to have great food, but I didn’t try them. One thing that was disappointing was they do not play Eagles games, although they have bunch of eagles stuff on the wall. I don’t care though, cuz the only thing I like from Philly is cheesteaks

Well this place has some bomb Philly cheesesteaks! I got one with just steak and american cheddar. Soooo good! The boyfriend got one with the veggies(mushrooms and onion I believe). The onions were chopped small; I like that style much better than the big thick ones. Their French fries looked soooo good. Didn’t get them but every table around us had them. I prob should’ve taken the hint, but the cheesesteaks are already so big. I didn’t want to be wasteful. Love that you can come here on a Sunday and watch some football airing. Definitely something to note since football season is finally back! I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. The bread is soft and complements the steak and cheese perfectly. Come try!

Jersey Joe’s definitely hit the spot for cheesesteaks among my friends. If you like Philly Cheesesteaks, you’re in for a treat. Every cheesesteak, served hot with melting cheese, is flavorful and filling. I ended up ordering the chicken, but the Italian and original Philly Cheesesteak looked just as good. The service was quick with hardly a wait on a Thursday at noon. This place is popular so come early if you want a seat. These are a bit pricey for a cheesesteak sandwich, but the taste is well worth it. Try this place the next time you’re in the area.

Second best cheesesteak in the Bay Area and that’s a really big deal. When you want some meat and melty cheese and you are on the Peninsula Jersey Joe’s is about the best you will do. They really got their cheesesteaks down just about right and I’ll toss in the Cheese Fries to shave those unnecessary extra years off my life while I’m at it. This place is great, you know you want it!

I was honestly blown away by the cheesesteak that I had here. It packed a huge flavor punch and it left me wanting another one. This place is authentic AND delicious. It’s in a random little strip mall off of El Camino(like most things on El Camino are) but when you walk in you feel like you’ve been transported to the east coast. The staff was very friendly and helpful — they knew it was our first time there so they helped us pick between the cheesesteaks. Highly recommend you come and check this place out!
