Description

Specialties

Nothing brings people together like food, which is why we’ve designed a line of classes especially for your next team-building event or office party.

Our lively hands-on teaching means that students work together to create a gourmet meal themselves.

Once everything is ready, students sit down and bond over the full sit down dinner that their teamwork has produced.

Classes are full of laughter and conversation, and our menus range from BBQ Basics to Champagne Brunch to an authentic Mexican Fiesta.

Events can include:

Birthday Parties, Holiday Parties, Corporate Team Building, Bachelorette/Bachelor Parties, Baby Showers, Fundraisers, Girls Night Out, Champagne Brunch, Date Night, Knife Basics.

Parties include full rental of the space, a private chef for three hours, all recipes, and ingredients.

All classes end with a sit-down meal and (when applicable) presentation of celebratory dessert.

We are happy to suggest menus for your event or help you come up with your own unique menu, and always working around your budget.

Meet the Business Owner

Chef George A.

Business Owner

has been in the food and hospitality industry for thirty three years, he began working in his family’s restaurant at the age of twelve. His Father instilled a strong work ethic in him at an early age, insisting that Chef George master every position in the restaurant from the back to the front of the house.

Chef George has worked in small restaurants and catering operations, through the years, but mostly, loves spending time in his own kitchen working on old family recipes, handed down from generation to generation. Some of these same recipes can be seen on the HomeChef calendar today.

With a deep love of foods from all over the world, he enjoys culinary trips to his small coastal village in Greece, where he plans to host students from California, who share the same passion for food, in a 2 week culinary journey.

It is with great pride that he welcomes you to HomeChef– San Carlos.
