We have been working — the right verb would be partnering — with Cliff over the years, first for rental 7 years ago and most recently for a home purchase on the Peninsula. This was our 3^rd purchase so we have some experience.
Cliff is not your typical realtor. Not only does he have tribal knowledge of his craft and the Peninsula but he excels at servicing his customers as well before, during and long after the purchase or sale of a property. Cliff is an active listener and a trusted advisor who knows how to extract the best value out of a property or negotiate the best deal for a buyer. He is also a millenial guy that uses all the cool internet tools that expedite the drudgery of buying and selling. Finally he is one of the nicest realtors around.

Cliff is a terrific realtor, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly– exactly the kind of person you want in your corner throughout the house-​hunt and negotiating offers.
My partner and I were first-​time home buyers, and Cliff did a fantastic job of providing us with helpful information and insight. We were on a tight budget, especially for the peninsula. Cliff showed us homes in the neighborhood we originally had in mind as well as other nearby areas, expanding our options far beyond what we had originally expected. After a very short house-​hunt, Cliff helped us land our dream home. He really knows the peninsula and has great connections with other real estate professionals.
Cliff was very flexible with tours, phone calls and emails when we needed him. At our request, he went above and beyond to expedite the whole process wherever possible, helping us avoid the costly prospect of going month-​to-​month on our imminently-​expiring lease.
On top of his skill, know-​how, and professionalism, Cliff is also personable and just fun to spend time with. This made our tours enjoyable and the stressful parts of house-​hunting a lot easier to handle.

Cliff handled the sale of our home in Redwood City. He was always there for us, no matter what we needed. He was thoroughly professional, getting us what we believe to be top dollar for our house, but also was a good friend throughout the process. What a fantastic agent!!! Cliff helped us purchase our new home recently. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from him. Buying a house in a neighborhood that’s completely unfamiliar to you is a daunting task. When we first began our housing search, I was convinced we would never find something in our budget that would meet both mine and my husband’s requirements, or even worse, make a purchase we’d regret. Thank goodness for Cliff! His expertise and longtime knowledge of the area (and ultra competitive housing market) made him the ideal agent for us. He also has a ton of experience with home renovations and repairs, and his knowledge in that area really helped us factor in costs and benefits when considering different properties.
Cliff also has what seems to be unending patience, which, as a self-​admitted picky home buyer, I very much appreciated. He was always available by phone or email to talk and answer our questions — late night, weekends, whenever. Over the course of our search, Cliff helped us better identify our «must-​haves» as well as our «negotiables». We never felt pressured to put in offers that we weren’t comfortable with. We also felt very well-​informed about each property we expressed an interest in; Cliff gave us his honest opinion about each of the properties we looked at, and pointed out features about the house and neighborhood to consider as our boys grew older and more mobile. Cliff made sure to review all the disclosures with us, highlighting items to pay special attention to. And when we did make a purchase, Cliff made sure we had everything we needed to move in and feel settled.
Bottom line: We wholeheartedly recommend Cliff as an agent; he quickly earned our trust and we know he took care of us each step of the way. If we’re ever in the market for a new home, we’ll definitely be calling him again!

Earlier this year, my fiancé and I began a search on the peninsula for our first house. During our first weekend of visiting open houses and seeing what was out there, we met Cliff, who was representing the seller of one of the houses. He was friendly, super easy to talk with, and gave us some pointers of how to move forward with the process. We liked him immediately. A few days later, we asked him to be our agent, and could not have been happier with the decision.
Over the next six months of looking (during a crazy competitive time to be buying) Cliff remained professional, patient, easy to work with, and extremely knowledgable. We certainly made him work hard; we must have looked at about 50 houses and made around 10 offers. Through it all, he was on top of everything we asked him to do, stayed positive, and remained completely devoted to our search for a house. He was responsive to emails and calls, and even worked ridiculously hard while on «vacation.»
In large part due to Cliff’s professionalism, my fiancé and I finally found the perfect house in Belmont. After the seller made four counter offers to three other buyers and us, Cliff was the only agent to go through all of the formalities of creating a new contract, putting everything in writing, and communicating clearly with the other agent. Though our offer was not the highest, Cliff’s professionalism showed the seller that we were serious buyers, and chose to accept our offer. We are now extremely happy with our new house after living here for almost two months, and certainly have Cliff to thank.
In short, Cliff was wonderful to work with — he was consistently professional, knowledgable about houses and neighborhoods (pointing out positives and negatives of each), responsible, and easy to talk with /​fun to be around to boot! We plan to use Cliff in the future for any real estate endeavors, and will emphatically refer our friends to him. We cannot recommend him more!

Cliff is the best! He worked tirelessly to sell our home (in 12 days) and then jumped right into finding us a smaller house with most of the items on our wish list.

My family and I bought a fixer upper in the Willow Glenn neighborhood of San Jose with the help of Cliff last year. What I enjoyed most about working with Cliff was his friendliness, professionalism, guidance and patience.
