Beeline Bikes was started by a team committed to making the entire bicycle experience more accessible and convenient for everyone. Our goal is to enhance our customer’s cycling experience by meshing our enthusiasm for cycling and our talent for repairing & servicing bicycles with a new kind of service experience, the Beeline Bikes Mobile Bicycle Shop.

I had my new bike tuned up today while I was at work, and am really impressed with Beeline! I love that they come to you, as I wouldn’t have been able to take my bike to a shop very easily. Their setup is very clean and professional, and the service I had was great. My bike was tuned up within about an hour and it road so much better than before. I definitely recommend this service to anyone with a bike, and will use again. I hope they extend there services to more areas soon!

I have used to be Beeline bikes several times in the past. I sometimes it’s easier to complain then give high reviews, having said that all my past reviews would’ve been five stars had I written one. However, this time the tech was way below par. He called to see if he could come over one hour early because he was ahead of schedule. It became apparent when he showed up he was just looking to get done with this job also. I asked him to sync my bike computer and get it working and his response was that he’s never worked with those before. Bear in mind, they had advanced notice about the bike computer. In fact they said if I bought the batteries they could set it up no problem. (They don’t stock the batteries on the truck) Then I had him look at my disc brakes on my mountain bike and he immediately advised that they would have to be replaced without even looking at them. Another tech from beeline was over a week before to do a tuneup on a different bike. (Awesome service and great mechanic) When he looked at these brakes he said they just needed to be bled.
Long story short, I ended up sending this Tech away with no work being done. Even if I was going to replace the brakes I was not about to use this tech who seemed to be more interested in moving on to his next job. This techs response to everything seemed to be negative, no, or I can’t do that.
I called beeline bikes and asked for a manager to give my feedback. The person on the phone said he could help. I’m not sure the information got passed along. He didn’t seem concerned when I said I was going to use a shop instead. I also completed their online review and never heard back.
I updated my review to 5 stars. After posting to Unilocal the DM (Eric) contacted me and really listened to the feedback. He is following up with the tech and made things right with my bikes. Thank you Eric!

I was stuck! I could not get anyone to get my bike done when I needed it and I decided to give the home tune up a try…5 Stars. On time, good quality and very professional. The guy who tuned my bike was a real rider and put a ton of care and thought into doing right by me. Very happy and thankful to be riding this weekend thanks to Beeline.

I had my full suspension mountain bike tuned up because the breaks were acting up. Mike came in on time– actually I called to see if he can come in earlier and he did. The job was done within an hour or so. The bike now runs well. Only regret is that I should have asked him to tune up my road bike as well. I can usually do the tune ups but the way I ride my bike I like having a professional look at the frame and gearing etc, just for extra opinion and safety. The price is reasonable and this is something you have some else do maybe once a year just to look at your components etc.

Really great bike service! Beeline Bikes did a tuneup on my (poorly maintained, 4 year old) road bike as part of a corporate event. Riding it home was a pleasure — I’ve had this bike tuned up at shops in the south bay and despite paying for a «professional» tuneup, it’s never ridden as smoothly as it did after Beeline was done with it. New chain, one new cable, and everything tightened to perfection. Will try to use them for future tuneups!

A fantastic model of service. I made my first appointment online for both my bike and my son’s. Keith from Beeline arrived early (which I appreciated), and we reviewed my bikes to be fixed. He worked up a quote in ten minutes, and he completed a full tune up for my mountain bike and repair of my son’s bike in just over an hour. EXCELLENT service! I was able to work in my house on my laptop, and Keith reviewed all the work when he was completed, answering all my questions.
This was so much easier than bringing the bikes to a shop. My gears are smooth as silk now. Thanks!

What a great experience! Scheduled online to have work done at my convenience. That’s a win! The local bike shop was a 2 week wait and I would have had to schlep both my kids bikes in for a tune up. That’s not convenient for me. Beeline service is great and the technician knew what he was doing. Had my sons jump bike and my daughters cruiser tuned up for start of school. My son says his bike rides so much better! I would use beeline again in a heartbeat. Also the price was very reasonable for the time and attention to detail we received.

I’ve got flat tire on this week. I came to Beeline Bikes in San Carlos with no appointment scheduled. I’ve asked to fix tire and do inspection. Next morning I picked up bike and it is prefect to ride (before it was not well turned). In the evening same day I’ve got flat tire again. I was very upset just fixed bike and I cannot ride again. So I brought bike to them again, they found metal part in tire and fixed it at no charge.
So, I would recommend this service to everyone!

Awesome service. I bought a bike the needed a little assembly. Beeline met me at work. Hooked it up with legit work. Offered fair unbiased advice about upgrades and options for the bike. They wanted me to ride it around to see if it needed any adjustments. Very cool. Recommended. $ 89 for the build.

The specialist that came to look at my bike told me the wrong diameters for my handlebars causing me to waste time in ordering brakes that did not fit properly. Although there are not that many available appointments, the mobile service is very convenient.

Beeline Bikes came to my office at Citrix yesterday. They offered the $ 80 bike tuneup for $ 60 and 10% off all parts.
It was really easy to schedule an appointment through their online portal. I dropped my bike off in the morning and the technician emailed me when it was ready for pickup at 2pm.
He did a great job fixing my bike. He fixed my bent derailer and re taped my handlebars, which were falling apart. He was friendly and courteous and I could tell that he had been really busy all day.
This is a great service to provide to employees. It made my life a lot easier not having to drop my bike off at a shop during business hours.

I was about to ride home from work, and the pedal became screwed crooked in the crank (somehow). These guys were right there and fixed it. They refused payment or a tip, and said write a nice Unilocal review if you’d like.
The fix held for a few days until I was able to get a new crank. Good people, would recommend!

I just had Beeline out to our house. It was so easy and so quick. I have an older bike which is still in excellent shape. It needed new shifters. Tyler, the technician,
checked the warehouse, saw they were in stock, and had them delivered within 10 minutes. The speed, service and overall attention to detail was excellent.
I certainly will use them again – especially since the work was done immediately, I didn’t have to drop off and pick up the bike and the cost was very reasonable and well-​done.

Beeline Bikes is a creative concept with excellent execution.
With more and more folks on bikes these days. There is much more the need for bike maintenance. Beeline’s mobile maintenance bike shops pop up alt all sorts of businesses, schools and events all throughout the Bay Area.
I got a great deal online for a Bike, but when it arrived it was only 80% assembled. There was no way I was going to risk attempting to put this complex thing together myself. Besides the bike would need a good fine adjustment setup from a pro before hitting the road anyways. I work in San Carlos and was eager to get the bike on the road. So I went and dropped the bike off in the morning and it was done a few hours later. Assembled with a full tune-​up and all for $ 99.
Beeline also offers there at home service. A week after I got my bike, my fiancé’s bike arrived in the mail. This time we made an appointment for Beeline to show up at 9am at our home in Santa Clara. There work-​truck-​shop showed up and fully assembled and tuned up the bike —- all in about an hour for $ 99.
The ease, convenience and mobility makes this shop better than most.

Spent less then a minute to get some help, and wow these folks are amazing at customer service, it is a little off the beaten path but staff is super helpful
They didn’t have my size tire for a replacement tire, they could order it for me and have it in a few days, but they were able to help out by finding shops in the area that actually carry the size tire I need, I definitely recommend giving this folks a shot, again very helpful and if they don’t have what you need they have no problems calling around for you to find what you need.

ambiance **** literally inside they have a rack that could hold up to maybe 8 or more bikes, small section for accessories, and the far right side is all sectioned off desk.

I live off my bike. I need to it tow groceries home, hit up the gym, stop by the library, go to parks, meet cool bikers, etc. Thanks to Beeline Bikes, I don’t have to waste away in my home while waiting the week or two turnaround time it takes for a bike shop or REI to do minor maintenance on my bike, because Beeline Bikes gets tuned up in a couple of hours.
With a corporate discount and a super nice mechanic, getting a full tuneup, a new chain, and new bar tape wasn’t even $ 100. Now my 80s Schwinn beater bike, twice as old as me, rides smoother than yo mama’s legs and coasts quieter than a Prius. the friction shifters, generally hard to deal with, shifted like i was driving an automatic. totes amazeballs

I’ve been in serious need for a tuneup on my bike and while I have a regular shop I take it to, it’s a bit inconvenient due to the times they open and my work schedule. I’ve been putting it for for literally two months at this point despite my brakes being sketchy and my shifting feeling off.
When I went out behind my workplace to go to the mall to pick up lunch, I stumbled across the Beeline truck. «What’s this?» I inquired. Apparently my office was sponsoring bike repairs from Beeline at a 90% discount (or something like that, math is hard). $ 8 instead of $ 80 for a tune up? I can get on board with that.
I had to go online to schedule an appointment for the week after as they were there for two days and were full on the day I discovered them, but the sign up was easy and I received email confirmation, plus a reminder closer to the day of the appointment. I went to the back lot upon arriving at work for the day and spoke with one of the techs, giving him some feedback on what I felt was wrong, and him giving me his assessment. We agreed on the work, parts and estimate, and headed in to work.
Several hours later, I received a text message that my bike was done. I went down, paid with a credit card, and had my bike handed over.
The work done was decent and they definitely fixed the areas I pointed out. My only complaint (which is minor) is that they carry standard quality parts. I’m not really super serious of a cyclist or extremely picky, but some things I do wind up getting better brands and quality in (for example, I get a higher-​end type of bar tape that’s got some extra padding due to wrist issues). Since they’re a mobile unit with limited space, you can’t expect them to be carrying parts above and beyond just the basics for tune ups. If you’re not expecting fancy parts or just want the convenience, Beeline Bikes portable tune up truck is worth it!
