I truly have to give them 5 Stars. They are a very clean environment, and serve Starbucks coffee while you wait. The service was quick, smog, and also, they looked at my water which I needed some. Everyone was friendly as well. That means alot. Lastly, they referred to online to pay my vehicle registration. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience here. I was looking for a fast reasonably priced oil change (I wanted to get it done during lunch break) and I found this on Unilocal.At 3.5 stars I thought I’d give it a chance. There was a 10 $ coupon online from the Unilocal page. I arrived and was immediately greeted by someone who told me to just leave the car running and head inside (and to get a starbucks coffee on my way in if I want!), and asked if I just wanted an oil change. I walked in and there was a fancy starbucks coffee machine which freshly ground 2 types of beans. Pretty nice. Inside the place was nice and a mechanic came in right away to talk to me. He offered me a basic oil change service with the proper oil and quoted me $ 40. I showed him the coupon on my phone and right away said yup we honor that, it’ll be $ 30. The coupon also mentioned a multipoint inspection. As I waited I saw them through the window quickly change my oil, and check all my other fluids, topping off a few of them. I saw them wash my window and vacuum all my floormats. They finished the whole process in less than 15 minutes. When the mechanic came back in he told me everything they did, and that they checked various things and nothing needed replacement (including the air filter). So I was good to go. No pressure at all to buy any other service. I was out the door right away for only $ 30 bucks with a nice cleaned up car, new oil, topped off fluids, and confidence my car wont have any trouble for a while! Overall quite impressed with the service. Every employee I interacted with (3) acted very professional.

I’ve been coming to Speedee’s for years. They have great customer service and can the job done fast! The newly remodeled lobby looks fantastic too.

Called in advance to check if they were busy, receptionist politely confirmed they were not so I took my car in for a routine oil change. Took under 30 minutes total with no wait time and I had wifi the whole while. The process included more than I would normally expect (notably they somewhat cleaned my car– at least they wiped my front windshield and maybe vacuumed inside). The tech commented that there was some spilt oil around the cap from the last service job (pretty sure it was me) and that they topped off my windshield wiper fluid. Kinda surprised that he didn’t comment on the airbag light being on… (bad sensor). For only $ 32 with a Unilocal coupon, I am pretty satisfied.

I just found out from a third party mechanic that Speedee charged me $ 110 for a synthetic oil change that they never performed. The store manager told me my only recourse was to file a complaint with corporate. When filing the complaint, I was told that corporate would follow up with me within 2 business days. It’s been over two weeks, and I have had no response. If I had known this place was rated an F by the Better Business Bureau, I never would have brought my car there.

They have very good prices as well as great specials at times. Even have a Unilocal discount. Quick service.

Do not go here. I should have read the reviews first. It is overpriced, and NOT «speedy» at all. Second, they put the wrong oil in my car (wrong weight and non-​synthetic). If I had not looked to see what they were doing, I’m convinced I would have paid for the more expensive oil I requested in the first place. I called the «tech» on it, and he apologized and asked if I wanted it drained. At this point it had already been an hour, and it would have taken probably another hour to drain and refill it. They charged me the normal price, and I was pretty upset by it. I felt they should have discounted something due to their error, as well as the time I was there waiting. After this, I’ve never made an excuse to be lazy again, and am back to changing my own oil again. I was just in a rush on this particular day.

…went there because i was out of time… they are a slick hustle… tried to charge me $ 20 to unscrew 2 bolts to get at oil drain… wound up being charged $ 139.00 for a $ 60 oil change… beware…paid it just to get away from them

Went in for an oil change. They claimed my car needed a new oil pan and gave me an estimate for $ 737.47. My car was not leaking oil when I brought it in. They showed me a stripped drain plug and charged me $ 35 for another one when I declined having the oil pan fixed. Took it to a real mechanic. They said I didn’t need an oil pan and verified that if the plug was stripped then the car would have been leaking oil. So SpeeDee stripped the plug (on purpose or by accident) then lied about the oil pan then charged me to replace a part they broke. DO NOT go in there by yourself if you are a female, they are rip offs. In fact just don’t go in there at all. Shame on you!

Maybe someday I’ll fulfill my life long dream of changing my own oil and filter. Until then SpeeDee is AOK. With a coupon, this is a good, fast place to get an oil change.
Yeah if there are people ahead of you, you might wait a while. Such is life. There is free fresh brewed coffee in the waiting room and wifi. Yes, they may try to upsell you to synthetic oil or various fluids/​filters. It’s how they make money. Just say no and they are polite about it. Today the upsell guy actually complimented me on how well I keep my car maintained!
Hint: if there is a long wait, there are places to eat and close by. Or walk a bit and get a donut from Rolling Pin! Mmmmmm… donuts…

Came by for oil change and smog check. Service was outstanding, oil change was done so quickly and although my car didn’t pass smog I’m certain with the work they’re doing today will alleviate that problem. Larry, store manager, has an incredibly welcoming personality and Tony, the lead mechanic, made me feel like I have no further vehicle worries… I’m recommending this shop to everyone I know.
Job well done!!! (Elizabeth was the cashier, and is sweet as it gets — might just be my new best friend!)

They started to get busy so I’m glad we beat the rush.
They offered us coffee inside.
$ 29 for an oil change which is a good deal. They also did a mini clean up by vacuuming and wiping the windshield.
Customer service is friendly and helpful.

Took my 2013 Honda Accord for an oil change they charge me after saying that I need it air filters almost $ 200.00 and they left the oil filter loose wreak the engine and now they claim they did nothing wrong. Don’t take your cars there these guys are stealing and doing bad work on your cars.

I went there without an appointment and got great service by Carlos and Minh. The oil change was done very fast and everything checked out ok.
Would recommend and go back again.

I’ve gotten my oil changed here a few times within the past year, and I haven’t gone anywhere else. I don’t know too much about cars, but the service here is charged for a reasonable price and all the mechanics here are here to answer any of your questions.
Today, I needed 3 belts changed, I took it in at 10am, they dropped me off in Daly City and my car was ready by 12:30pm! That’s pretty quick for bringing in my car, ordering the parts, and then the actual job on a Sunday. And as I write this review, Michael, the manager is on his way to pick me up so I can get my baby back! How’s that for guest service? :)

Great service Great Attitudes!
Very convenient being so close to the airport. Once I touchdown I getta oil change here then head down the street to the tanforan laser car wash. Next stop barber shop & clothes store. Then we ready for the week! 5stars yall!

Very quick and excellent service. Came in from out of town. Price a little higher than I am used to but this is San Francisco after all! Told me some of the problems car may be having but didn’t push for repair. Kudos to Speedee!
