The only thing I dislike about going to the dentist is when they have to use the dreaded drill on me. Just thinking about the sound of it makes me cringe. I had to get a filling redone, and it took close to an hour and a half for the appointment. Dr. Madera made sure that I didn’t feel any discomfort. It was actually very minimal. Of course I had to be numbed up because the cavity was rather deep (My eating habits weren’t the best when I was a kid.), but it wasn’t so much to the point where water dribbled down the side of my mouth when I was told to rinse during the procedure. I had lunch after my appointment, but noticed the new filling didn’t feel right. I called and left a message to see if I could come by to have it fixed. She replied within minutes and told me to come in any time. Since when are dentists that convenient? Anyway, I was in and out of there on my second trip. Thank goodness they make fillings tooth colored now. I don’t have to look at silvery gray patches on my teeth ever again! I give Dr. Madera two thumbs up for her services and somewhat flexible schedule. She also let me work in her office to earn community service hours a few years back, so that alone deserves the 5^th star.
