I came here for some spam musubi… and decided to get me some mac salad… it was very good but it cost me 99 cents and it was in a SUPER tiny container that I ate in 5 bites. I was expecting a little more. I love their mac salads. and that tiny container had like 350 calories! Holy smokes! I shared that tiny container with my sister. We also ordered one spam and one chicken musubi. Although I’m sure i can eat rice, seaweed, and spam in one bite separately… I find myself always looking for the real deal to eat! Ah, it’s another place that’s CASHONLY… so make sure you have cash when you go. It’s located in the same plaza as the Bestbuy, Lucky’s, and Red Robin.

We loved this spot. Every time we come here spam musbi is a must order item. They make it so perfect, crispy seaweed, right amount of rice, toasted spam, and a little bit of dark sauce. SOYUMMY! Besides the spam musbi, other items is always freshly cook and delicious. Definitely get enough bang for the buck!

The food is always yummy and freshly cooked. I love the Hawaiian drinks also. I always end up with more than enough food and always have left overs. The macaroni salad is not something that I’m a huge fan of, however its standard across all Hawaiian type food places. The good thing is that L&L is willing to replace the macaroni with alternative substitutes, which is great! I’ve been coming here for years and I do recommend this place, especially if you want something filling, fast and you are hungry. Personally, I like the seafood combo with ribs. Filling!

Food is great but they don’t take cards. I don’t like places that don’t take cards. Plus there is a Hispanic lady that works the front. She’s rude and never smiles. She needs to learn some customer service.

Most L&L locations have friendly cashiers but not this one. The lady behind the counter taking orders was pretty rude and not very friendly. The food took longer than usual to be prepared. This location only accepts cash for some reason. The food was fine once it eventually was prepared. Overall, the owners should train the cashier on customer service.

Review is not on food but on service. One star for service. The lady behind the counter today, 12÷6÷15, Maria, is rude. Don’t look irritated when I ask you to repeat something because I can’t understand you. Stop watching tv while I’m placing my order. You’re behind the counter to serve customers, not dish out attitude. There are so many people who would want your job and can do it way better than you. Let’s see how long she lasts.

Came here for a simple lunch/snack before meeting up with a friend. Ended up ordering a single order and sharing. Got the curry chicken which I always liked when made correctly. The place itself wasn’t very clean. Floors and tables were sticky. So I made my order and waited. And waited. I thought my order was finally finished after awhile and I see the cashier opening the box before putting inside the bag. Apparently the kitchen had forgotten to put the curry on the chicken. I finally got my order a bit later and decided to eat at Starbucks instead. The chicken was flavorful and very tender. It was just not fast in any way.

Update review here. I’ve tried their mini beef curry the other day. As a curry connoisseur, this wasn’t bad. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. The braised beef just melts in your mouth. The consistency of the curry was appropriate, not too watery. I would have liked it more if it were spicier. There wasn’t enough curry to soak rice in.

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited this location. So we decided to stop by to fulfill our itch for some Hawaiian BBQ. The first thing I noticed, was their prices increased. I’m OK with paying a little more but when it compromises the quality of taste & quantity it truly isn’t worth it. In the past, their macaroni salad would be the deciding factor in choosing where to go for Hawaiian BBQ. But to my disappointment, I paid more for less & their macaroni is not as tasteful as I remember it to be. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Ono Hawaiin BBQ should’ve been our choice especially with their family meal deal.

Coming back from our road trip from Reno, friend was craving Hawaiian BBQ and being starving, it sounded amazing. Came to the L&L next to her spot, and haven’t had L&L in years. Ordered a mini chicken katsu meal, mini kalua pork, 2 spam musubis, and 2 drinks which equaled less than $ 20 after the 10% off $ 20 Unilocal check in. The place is a bit dingy, but it is a fast food joint, so wasn’t surprised. The chicken katsu with the mac salad hit the spot. The kalua pork wasn’t a good idea. I’m used to moist and juicy kalua pork, and this one was dry and lacked flavor. The spam musubis are good, but they always put way too much overcooked rice. Overall, a filling cheap meal that hit the spot. Cash only.

Uhm. Aloha? More like Alo-nahhh. $ 6 for a cup serving size of Ahi Poke? No way! Asked for my money back, but not without a look of contempt from the very miserable Asian girl working the counter. The kicker isn’t the lack of customer service, but the cleanliness of the place.. the soda/ice machine has BLACKMOLD in it. My boyfriend ran a napkin inside the water spout of the soda fountain, and that’s where we found the health hazard. Gruh-oss. Say«Aloha» to the health inspector for me.

Oh how I love me some Hawaiian food! So therefore I’m usually a fan of the L&L’s. This is one of the ones that’s nearby my workplace so I would frequent whenever I have the craving. My usual would be the BBQ chicken plate or musubis. So delish! And now… they have RAMENBURGER??? And it’s only priced at $ 5.99. I’m definitely trying that on my next visit! :D

Spam musubi here is the BOMB! I recently just started to really enjoy it, which is not so healthy, however this place makes them deliciously! Also I love the BBQ chicken, and brown rice, my Boyfriend loves their chicken katsu. I have never really had that much Hawaiian food, once you eat here you realize what you are really missing out on. The only downside, when we went there were so many people waiting for food, and we ordered to go that we had to wait 20 or more, just for those orders. Kind of a long wait for food, it was delicious, I just think that the service could be a little bit faster.

They cook some good bbq. I usually go for the Seafood combo and then pair it with the beef bbq. The serving is huge and it’s REAL food. PS. CASHONLY.

L&L always seems to hit the spot when I have a craving for some take-out Hawaiian food. I always know that anything I order here will satisfy my hunger, especially when I crave some Musubi! These are my usuals: Musubi Trio — Spam Musubi, BBQ Chicken Musubi, & Chicken Katsu Musubi For $ 6, this is a really great deal and will always fill me up! BBQ Chicken Plate — *Sorry no pic* Huge portioned BBQ chicken thighs with Rice and Macaroni Salad Ramen Burger — Yes, they make Ramen Burgers too and actually make pretty decent ones! And they have a ton of other menu items like burgers, curry, loco moco, and the classic spam and eggs. The only thing that can be a bother is that they only take cash so make sure you be prepared with some bills in your wallet before going in to order. They may not be have best Hawaiian food, but L&L will get you a great hearty meal for really affordable prices.
