Zedric’s mission is to provide gourmet, healthy, delicious Chef-prepared meals for busy people! Just come on in and pick out some chef-prepared meals from our cooler. All of our gourmet food is prepared daily and chilled, not frozen, so that it can be eaten on your schedule. We also offer online ordering so we can have your meals bagged and ready for pickup or delivery allowing you to pick up an entire week’s worth of food in mere seconds!
History
Established in 2010.
Chef Zach Lutton has been passionate about cooking from a very young age. He worked in kitchens while attending school for pre-med and eventually found out that food is where his true passion resides. He then decided to shift gears and pursue his culinary passions full-time while attending school at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Upon returning to his hometown of San Antonio, he noticed that there was a lack of of healthy options and that was when the concept of Zedric’s came about!

As Zach quietly begins to share his journey to Chef and Owner of Zedric’s, you realize he is dedicated about the path he’s taken to get here. His first real ‘chef’ job began under the hilarious, wild and inspiring leadership of Chef Lisa Filip of Biga on the Banks. That little spark of mischief in Zach’s eyes lights up when he talks about how much fun he had working and learning at one of San Antonio’s finest of restaurants. Biga and Chef Bruce Auden have been quietly cultivating passionate chefs for years. They were doing «Farm to Table» before that was an industry catchphrase and that commitment to freshness definitely shaped Zach’s vision for Zedric’s.
From Biga on the Banks Zach began working with Chef Dan Mundy and Alex White in Central Market’s Chef Prepared Foods Division.
When Zach isn’t busy in the Zedric’s Culinary Center whipping up delicious and nutritious meals you’ll find cuddling up to his new Labradoodle monster pup Louie.
