Vernon L. Dunagin, AIA — Consulting Architect opened during the most recent economic downturn and has steadily grown as a knowledgeable leader in the building envelope consulting profession. We have grown a wide array of clients including school district, universities, municipalities, private building owners and residential owners over the past 4 years. Our growth has increased 23% over the past 12 months including work in both Texas and a limited number of surrounding states.

Business Owner

Vernon L. Dunagin, AIA is a 1975 graduate of Texas Tech University and registered Architect in Texas. Mr. Dunagin remains an active member of the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI), American Institute of Architects (AIA), Texas Society of Architects (TSA), Council of Educational Facilities Planners International (CEFPI), Building Envelope Council (BEC), and I-​LinCP. Mr. Dunagin possesses a strong expertise in all roofing types including asphalt-​based systems, single ply membranes, metal roofing, coatings and others. Mr. Dunagin provides expert litigation assistance in the form of investigations of failing building envelope issues to serving as an expert witness. His expertise in public school planning and construction is extremely valuable to our public sector clientele.
