Elliot H. Johnson, AIA specializes in Custom and Builder Residential design in Austin and the Hill Country. We focus on tailoring each design to our client’s lifestyle, rather than confining ourselves to a particular style.

Elliot has been a leader in green building in Austin, Texas, and an active member of the City of Austin Green Building Program since 1992. We recently completed designs for four NET-​ZERO homes, and the design of your home would be produced in a NET-​ZERO office.

Images Of… has completed the design of eleven five-​star rated houses. We have worked with Strawbale, Rammed Earth, ICF’s, Cob, Cast Earth and Conventionally Framed structures.

History

Established in 1999.

I have been in Austin for over 27 years, involved solely with residential architecture since graduating from the University of Texas in 1991.

I have worked with numerous great architects and builders in my time in Austin, designing over 600 projects since 1999.

Business Owner

Elliot H. Johnson practices conventional architecture as well as designing homes reflecting «Sustainable» or «Green» building principles.

Over nineteen years of residential experience equips us with expert knowledge of construction techniques, budgeting, sustainable building principles, and local building codes.

Our home/​office as of 2013 is Net-​Zero — annually we use zero electricity from the City of Austin.
