A compassionate and experienced birth, parenting and breastfeeding resource for parents, professionals and the community in San Antonio and South Texas. The IBCLCs of The MILC Group have over 23 years of combined experience working with breastfeeding families. We are proud to bring that experience to the families of San Antonio. We offer the most extensive background in lactation of any group of private practice lactation consultants in San Antonio and the surrounding South Texas area. The MILC Group provides families with lactation support in their home or in our Breastfeeding Center. We teach monthly breastfeeding classes and host weekly breastfeeding support groups. We also offer childbirth education classes as well as parenting classes.

History

Established in 2014.

Ginger and Tina both come from a background of leading Breastfeeding Support Groups and working as Breastfeeding Counselors. They met in 2010 and started to work together doing in-​home lactation consultations. Ginger’s family left San Antonio for a two-​year tour in S. Korea returning the summer of 2014. Tina and Ginger immediately started working together again as The MILC Group.

Business Owner

Tina has been working in lactation since 1999 as a Breastfeeding Support Counselor. She went on to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in order to further support breastfeeding mothers. She enjoys supporting women in their journey as they go through pregnancy, the early days with baby and on to developing and growing as a parent along with her partner.
