History

Established in 2010.

In 2010, The Bullet Hole Shooting Complex approached Steven Cline provide handgun training at the range.

Steve promoted through the United States Practical Shooting Association classification system to Master class winning numerous local matches in the Single Stack Division and finishing in the top of the lists at larger State and Multi-​State matches.

Steve secured his certification as an NRA Basic Pistol instructor but remained true to his desire to simplify handgun training to it’s essential elements of safety, responsibility and marksmanship.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Steve is a graduate of Washburn University where he was the commander of the US Army ROTC unit. He received a commission into the Military Police Corps and attained the rank of Captain before being Honorably Discharged.

Steve also served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff’s Department receiving the Larry D. Welch Award for Academic Excellence from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center.

In January of 2000, Steve accepted a position with then SBC, now AT&T in the Corporate Security department investigating internal misconduct and fraud matters as well as crimes directed against the corporation.

Steve joined USPSA in 2006 and earned his Master classification in 2011 as well as becoming a Chief Range Officer. Every year Steve donates his time to several major matches around the state ensuring competitors enjoy a safe and fair match.
