I have been using Slater White Cleaners on New Braunfels for the last 3 years and I am very impressed with their prompt and excellent customer service. I have never been disappointed with the dry cleaning on any of my clothes –formal, semi-formal, cocktail, work clothes, suits, etc. Everything has been cleaned professionally and provided in a timely fashion. Highlights: George the manager is fantastic at customer service. He makes you feel like he’s known you for years and really cares about every customer that walks in the door. I have loved being a customer at this location because of his fantastic customer service and smile. As George mentioned to me, «Customer service is a dying art.» Anyone in customer service would definitely gain to learn from George. Lowlights: Unfortunately, I no longer work near Alamo Heights, so this location is not ideal for me. I said my goodbyes to George today, and I will definitely miss his attitude. He is a great manager and definitely a unique, rare person to know in the world of dying customer service. Overall, take your clothes to this location! They do a great job, and George is awesome. He will be missed.

NEVER, EVERAGAIN! Today was the last time S-W Cleaners will see me. I brought in three throw blankets that had been tossed around on my sofa; three blankets I’d previously purchased from Target. All are about the right size to not even cover my 5’10″ frame, so not a single one is what I would call large. Not one of them cost me more than $ 20 when new. These are not large bed-sized blankets. My bill came to $ 107 and change. I don’t see why the total should’ve been so high. There is no starch/pressing involved, and I found out that it would’ve been about one-third less expensive if I’d taken my items to their Broadway location. It turns out these are franchises. This experience has taught me to question a store that does not openly display their pricing. If I thought this experience was going to be as expensive as it turned out, I would’ve asked about their pricing and opted to just buy new blankets. Instead, I was fiscally violated by George Reyes and team. A second lesson is to check Unilocal before using a service company with which I’m unfamiliar.

I dropped my army dress uniform pants to be cleaned and pressed ahead of an important function, so you can imagine how upset/disappointed I was to receive my pants back sloppily thrown on the hanger and badly wrinkled. If only I had checked Unilocal first…

This location has never let me down for the past 3 years. George Reyes the manager always greets me in the morning I make a drop off and I pick up my shirts and suits without any issues. Perfect press everytime. I just got online with Unilocal or I would have recommend sooner. Keep up the great service!

I’m appalled by the customer service I received from the manager today. I brought in a new Joie silk top and when I went to pick it up the buttons were all cracked. He explained that the large press occasionally does this and that they would match and replace all the buttons. I even agreed to white buttons since coral was difficult to match. I never received any follow up but when I went to pick up my blouse no changes had been made. Instead I was presented with yet another bill for a re-clean. Something I hadn’t even requested. When I attempted to explain the situation with the manager who had originally agreed to replace the buttons, he said that I was probably lying and that I probably brought it in this way.

DONOTUSE!!! Let me state the facts before giving my opinion first: I took 3 items over there, one pair of pants and two formal dresses. I showed them the stains on all the items, manager said no problem«we can get those out.» I go back to pick up my items and of course inspect as best as I can. Pants came out good. Pink dress appeared pretty good(I checked the front in the store as that is where the stains were and in fact those were gone, when I got home and actually tried it on, there were black stains along the zipper in the back almost halfway down that were not there before!). Item number 3(red dress) was the worst. The stains on the front not only were still there, but they even looked worse! The receptionist said that I still owed them money even though the item was returned to me in worse shape than it was given to them in. She took my number and indicated that the manager would call me the next day, which of course never happened. So I called and he assured me that they would send it out to the Stone Oaks area and that he would call me when it was ready. A week later, still no phone call so I drive to the location to check. The dress is there and so are the stains. Although now the stains are no longer white(this is a red dress), now they have some kind of tint on them, like they tried to dye it. I left the dress again, manager was supposed to call the next day, but to no surprise there was no phone call. So I called, the manager was initially professional but then started interrupting me and yelling over me. I was barely able to get a word in. He made me so angry, that I even said a profanity(and mind you, I’m not one to use foul language), after which point he hung up on me! So I drove over there, paid for a service that was not provided and took my poor dress home. So to sum up: rude and unprofessional, do not keep their word about calling and return items in worse shape then they were brought in! All in all, AVOIDTHEMLIKETHEPLAGUE(unless you really don’t care about your things)! The one star should really not even be there! Worst dry cleaning experience of my life!

They lose clothes and then tell you you will be reimbursed for them and to wait for a check in the mail. Then, they tell you they had no intention of paying you for anything. Horrible, horrible way to do business. They suck.

NEVERAGAIN!!! I have used the services of Slater-White Cleaners three times and I will never use them again. I used them because it was really convient for my work due to it’s proximity. The first time I used them they could not find my clothes when it was time to pick them up. The second time it worked okay but the icing on the cake was today. I picked up my dry cleaning after they told me it would be ready by 10 pm and surprise they could not find my clothes again! The first time I chalked it up to mistakes happen but twice in less than a month! NEVERAGAIN!!!
