The Sheldon Vexler Theatre («The Vex») is gearing up for our 17^th season of critically acclaimed, award-​winning black box theatre. Join us in August for the first show of our next season, and don’t forget to visit our website for our upcoming schedule.

We encourage audiences to explore society by producing intimate, thought-​provoking works with local artists.

The Vex produces four shows a year from August to June, ranging from side-​splitting comedies to provocative dramas to toe-​tapping musicals.

Individual ticket prices range from $ 16-​$ 22 or commit to our entire season by purchasing a Season Ticket package, available from May-​September.

History

Established in 1999.

The Sheldon Vexler Theatre has been providing award-​winning, thought-​provoking theatre to San Antonio, and surrounding area, patrons since 1999 upon its opening.

The Vex is located within the Barshop Jewish Community Center at the corners of NW Military Hwy. and Wurzbach Pkwy.
