Filipino Restaurant, Market, & Bakery
History
Established in 1995.
Sari-Sari meaning «variety» started as a small oriental market operated out of the family’s garage. In 1995, it first established its self two doors down from its current location, providing Filipino products to the small Filipino community in San Antonio. Entrepreneur Adam Valenzuela wanted to expand his business and live out his dream of opening a Filipino restaurant. With his adherence to traditional Filipino recipes accompanied by unique interpretation, the Valenzuela family opened up Oriental Cuisine in 1999, becoming one of the first Filipino restaurants in San Antonio. Slowly the restaurant would expand to include a bakery with fresh Filipino delicacies, deserts, and pastries.
The newly renovated restaurant, offers home-cooked family dining to those who delight in sharing food with those closest to them, or to those willing to venture into something new. The restaurants interior, provides picture hangings of spectacular views in the Philippines.
