Precision Auto Masters

Wasn’t expecting to write a review before even making an appointment. Called the Nacogdoches location phone #210−599−2888 listed on their website to find out what hours they were open thinking I’d get machine (like any other business). The guy who answered was mad that I’d called at 10pm yelling «Well it sure isn’t at 10 o’clock at night!»
I’ll take my business elsewhere if that’s how they treat their customers.

The gentleman on the phone was very rude when scheduling my appointment. He hung up on me and when I called back and asked why he had hung up on me when he hadn’t even taken my name he said because he had my number and didn’t need my name.
Then when I arrived there was an only one person working on a Saturday. I still waited 40 minutes before got to my car even though he asked me to get here 15 – 20 minutes early. I will never visit this establishment again.

Pleased with service. I actually went to a jiffy lube to get an oil change, however, all bays were full; being inpatient I scanned Unilocal for an alternative and came across Precision situated across the road. Drove over and was greeted by a friendly mechanic who instantly mentioned their special offer to me, $ 34 for oil change, tire rotation and brake check. My car is a 2005 and an oil change costs me approx $ 65 at jiffy; so straight away I was pleasantly surprised! Work they did was good, quick and service was excellent. Only complaint is they did not re fill the water for my windscreen wipers. But good service at very reasonable prices means I cannot complain too much! I will be using this place from now on!

I’ve had my truck and my car at Precision many times and every single time the price is exactly as they have quoted and always on time!

I hate to write this review as usually I’m a huge supporter of small businesses but these people asked me to write a review and I gave my word. I’m sure they weren’t expecting to get what they’re about to get but I always hold up my end of the bargain — even though they choose not to do the same.
3 weeks ago I decided to use Precision Auto Masters to get an oil change and an inspection. They were very nice and when I even asked if i could buy the magazine I was reading they told me I could have it in exchange for writing a review. They said they were a small business that thrived off of reviews. Being an elite Unilocaler I smiled and, of course, gave my word to write a review. I was halfway home when I heard a clanking noise. I quickly looked in my rearview to see if I’d ran over something and then assumed they’d left a tool laying inside my car when they did the inspection or something. I was slightly irritated at that but assumed it was an accident and didnt think anything of it… that is until my «Oh shit! You’re about to blow your engine» light came on… obviously informing me that I had absolutely NOOOOO oil in my car. Weird — as I had just had an oil change and was assured they’re put in 4 quarts in. I have literally never seen this light in my car as I get my oil changed EVERY 3000 miles, get things inspected before they need to be and have preventative maintenance done at the dealership because I don’t trust anybody else. Well, To make a long story short I was not even able to drive my own car 20 minutes after leaving them because someone didnt tighten my oil plug and all the oil leaked out. When I called the shop nobody answered so I missed a meeting that evening and the next day as well because I couldnt drive my car. When I got in touch with them (because they never called me back after three emails and a call or two) they said they double-​check everything so it could not have been their fault. I explained to them that I made one 5 minute stop in between their shop and home and in that time 4 and a half quarts of oil were lost to which they responded «Well, someone must have tampered with it». Seriously? So basically they seriously suggested to me that someone followed me until I got my oil change and THEN proceeded to unscrew my oil plug? Really? I assured them nobody had messed with it and they reluctantly told me they’d send someone to «check it out». Really? Ok, thanks.
By this time I’d already missed 2 meetings and was not able to drive my car when someone finally comes over to fix their mistake. I guess they didn’t believe me when i TOLD THEM that all the oil had leaked because they proceeded to pour another 4 and a half quarts of oil in… ya know, without the oil plug in it. So, guess what? ALL THE OIL LEAKED OUT AGAIN. All in my driveway and the neighbor’s driveway and down the street. Awesome — and it’s not over…
They finally bought an oil plug, filled my oil up (yet AGAIN) and put kitty litter down the 30 foot area that was soaked and stained in oil. I was assured everything was fine and that they would be back to clean up the kitty litter and pressure spray the ground. So, it’s been 3 weeks and I still have a pile of dirty kitty litter in my and my neighbor’s yard. Awesome. I’d definitely trade the magazine back to get better service…
