We have been here several times. Every time we somehow end up with the same server. Which is not a bad thing considering he absolutely wonderful! We love all the variety. The lasagna is great. The Chinese food even better. The portions are out of this world. I can eat off my food for 2 days for a mere $ 6.99!!! This is unheard of anymore. Let me tell you. They cater to people with small children. If you have a picky eater(and we do) they will bend over backwards to get something together they will eat. This has been my experience every time. Big plus! This place is a must try. It’s quiet, clean and the staff is friendly.

Well, visited the«old» ‘hood after my wife had cataract surgery. She did not feel like cooking and neither did I, so we decided to pop in on our old friend Mr. Paul at Paul’s Pub/Pizza Roma/Sun Sun. Again, not at all disappointed! I had my usual egg foo, and wife went for the loaded baked tater. I started with my usual dolmas order, and she had a six piece fried shrimp. Everything, as always, came out hot, quick and was DELICIOUS! Service was fantastic! She even felt like a mango margarita to help ease the«pain»(wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Sometimes you just gotta go back… but we’ll continue to try those new West Side(ahem…WESTSIIIIIDE!) restaurants(THANKS Mike B.)!

If I could give this no stars I would. I hardly ever write bad reviews, and honestly gave this place TWOCHANCES before writing a bad one. I also needed to cool down and not say anything hastily. My fiancé and I were referred to this place by a friend of mine. She gave us two business cards for a free lunch. We just moved to the medical center, and we were looking for a new Italian place so we decided to try it out. The service was ok. The server knew absolutely nothing about the menu. We ordered a calzone and a lasagne. The lasagne was nothing special. Stouffer’s is honestly better. The calzone however was quite good. We had the one with all meat. When we were through we presented the cards and the server came back and said he could not accept them. We asked why he couldn’t give us a reason. He went to ask again and came back to give us the 3rd degree wanting to know a name of the person who gave it to us. He even seemed a little embarrassed. I told him and he promptly left again. I went to talk to the owner myself and found him sitting behind the bar. I kindly asked him why it mattered who gave me the cards? That she was a colleague of mine, and she said he had personally given her the cards to help market. And he said«That was a ways back… I’m not accepting them anymore.» And I said«Ummm there isn’t a date on them? Perhaps you should consider printing a date on them.» And that was how it ended!!! I am an extremely nice person and this is no way to treat your guests! How about an apology??? So months later I decided to try this place again, against my better judgment. The service was down right bad. Our server got our order wrong and never refilled our drinks. My pasta was watered down and the shrimp RAW. Absolutely disappointing. We will not be back.

Tried it for the 1st time for dinner & it was empty on the right side of the restaurant. No signs asking to seat yourself or waiter to greet you. I noticed another customer walked in confused looking around as well not sure what to do. My husband had the lasagna, it was mediocre at best. The Chinese food was okay much more on the Panda Express level. The waiter was nice but we asked for refills twice before we were given more water, and that because we were the only table. We ordered an appetizer and it was given to us in the middle of the meal, we refused it since it was late. It was added to the bill but taken off, they did have a lot of drivers taking orders out which is safe to assume their pizza must be a lot better. Seriously doubtful we would return.

The service was great at this place. They are open until midnight so that worked out because we drove into town late. I was pleasantly surprised they served both Italian and Chinese here. The Italian food was tasty. We particularly enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. The pepperoni pizza was delicious. My family and I also split a combination plate that included broccoli beef and almond chicken with fried rice and one egg roll. In all honesty, I enjoyed the Italian food more than the Chinese which turned out to be a bit too salty. The fried rice and egg roll did not taste authentic. The atmosphere, however, was pleasant and very comfortable; they played jazz music which I enjoyed tremendously. Although we didn’t drink, they have a nicely stocked full bar. They also have an outdoor patio seating which in a nice evening like this one, was very welcoming. FYI — this place is totally POC friendly!

I would absolutely suggest Paul’s over everything. I cannot say enough about the customer service and how hospitable Paul is as an owner. I absolutely adore him and I just met him today. The pizza was yummy, they are open till midnight, they are in a great location for med students. Please go visit, meet paul and his awesome staff, and try some yummy pizza!

Ordered some pizza around 10:30pm, pizza took an hour an a half to arrive. When I called the dude had a major attitude problem acted as if I was the one with the problem. Like dude I just want some food! Charged an ass load of money, ***10 Dollar Delivery Charge*** so I expected the pizza top be half way decent. They used Hormel pepperoni, the triangle ones that go on lean cuisine pizza at you’re local grocer. They’re cheesy bread was beyond mediocre, only one sauce and one pack of parmesan, and pepper, to cover a 40 dollar purchase. so I couldn’t even cover the taste of this atrocity. Gave my dog some pizza, he told me to write this review.

Went to this place for an after work lunch with coworkers and had a good time. We all had a quick laugh about the location being in a strip center near an adult store. We’re super mature, I know. Walking in, we were greeted right away and told to sit anywhere we want. We ordered cheese sticks, which I thought was like mozzarella sticks(blame it on it being Friday!), but was pleasantly surprised was delicious cheese bread. I really liked it! Good dough taste and a good amount of cheese. Also, I ordered two slices of pizza. Pepperoni. The food took a little while to come, but well worth it. One of my friends got the lasagna, and that looked pretty tasty too. Our waiter was funny, and attentive, so that really added to the fun lunch catching up with buddies. I ordered twice cooked pork to-go for my fiancé from the Asian part of the restaurant, and he didn’t eat any of it, so that lowered the overall star rating I made for this review. His main complaint was the«twice cooked pork» was really big pieces of ham, and the meal has a lot of filler veggies, which is common, but he felt it excessive, and the sauce gross. He did eat his entire order of crab rangoons though. So, I’d stick to the pizza side of it. My two cents

Absolutely the best crust of any Pizza in the medical center. last time i ended up getting a chicken piccata calzone which was really good. Fresh bread always makes a difference to me. Hey call me picky. I’ve had Pizza, Calzone and Subs at this place and the bread is always great and fresh. Great Chinese food specials for lunch too. Sun Sun and Paul’s Pizza Roma are two restaurants in the same place. Menu has more choices than most restaurants together but everything is always good. I highly recommend that you go here. I have even used their delivery service. So call them and have it delivered to you

The atmosphere there is so nice and I love that its open later on weekends, and man there’s a lot to choose from. I’ve only ever tried the calzones, but man they’re good.

This is a great little pizza joint. Definitely beats the chain pizza places. After reading a few Unilocal reviews showed up for lunch and they weren’t busy. Ordered a one topping pizza and some spicy hot wings and it was yummmmmmmmy! You can either dine in or get take out. They dinning room is small but very comfy. Next time I’d like to stay and dine in so I can check out more of the ambience. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. They took my order, the wait was minimal and the food came out quickly. It tasted great. It was a good visit and I look forward to grabbing anothrr bite here soon :)

Horrible food and effort! Only 3 meatballs on their large order of spaghetti and meatballs. And the garlic bread was the bottom half of a hamburger bun!!! They didn’t even give me the whole hamburger bun. I will not be eating here again. You’ve been WARNED!

Service was fun and friendly but the rest was a mixed bag. Maybe that’s to be expected when you combine a pizza joint, a Chinese restaurant and a bar in a single establishment with three names. We came looking for Chinese food so technically we are at «Sun Sun Chinese Restaurant». Food was not good enough to warrant another visit. And the table was so sticky I had to send my suit jacket to be cleaned.

Mediocre food, dismal service, good location that could be much better if they’d just put in some effort. Combined kitchen with Sun Sun Chinese, so it’s great if you have a group that can’t decide what type of food they want. Pizza was somewhere between delivery quality and frozen grocery store variety. Location on 281/Brookholllow area at least has stellar service going for it, here the waitress barely spoke English and did not seem to know how to use the register– a simple dinner took an hour and a half and we were overcharged. If you’re there for HH specials, make sure they charge you accordingly. The fact that staff can’t be trusted to do this, when it’s put into the computer when you order it not when you cash out, is ridiculous.

The pizza is good — not fantastic, but tasty, and definitely a step above chain store pizza, Service is not stellar, but it is friendly, and that helps. My pet peeve at any restaurant is running out of something to drink while I’m eating. I also like a glass of water along with whatever beverage I order, and I say so. I might have gone 4 stars if I’d gotten the water I asked for, and if I hadn’t had to request a refill of my beverage. I don’t feel it’s my job to «holler» if I need something, but I suppose I will next time, since that’s the way it seems to work. So yes — Ill return. Don’t bother with delivery. They often quote 45 minutes on the phone(which seems long to start with), but it will take longer. Sometimes much longer. I’ve given up on delivery from this place. It isn’t worth the aggravation.

It’s not about the pizza. The variety is far more important to my family. Burgers, ribs, dolmas, desserts, baked potato, soup, pasta salad, greek salads, sub sandwiches, appetizers. We have ordered from them a lot over the years and, yes, they have gotten the order wrong once or twice but they always make it right and send some sort of extra to apologize. The food is good, The calzones are bready and stuffed full, the Chinese food is meat heavy, they use the BIG shrimp, which is good for most folks but they load up big chunks of the tofu too. They remember your order and address. My address is now outside the current delivery area, i think, but I talked them into it by tipping accordingly. I should have reviewed earlier because I love them and they love me.

Paul’s Pizza is interesting especially since it is also«Sun Sun» a Chinese Restaurant and«Paul’s Pub», a pub. We were told there were two different cooks there, one for Italian and one for Chinese. For the purposes of this review I will stick with Paul’s Pizza and that is exactly what I had — the pizza. Well the pizza was just OK! The good things I will say about it is it’s a nice size — 10 in with one topping. I paid a little extra and had my usual Italian sausage and bell peppers. My friends asked the waitress what toppings Paul’s had and she replied anything you want, so it seemed they had a big selection. My friends both had calzones and they were very pleased with them. I think they said they had mozzarella cheese in them, not that ricotta stuff — BLAH! I am not too fond of that. So maybe the calzone is worth going back for. The waitress had a pleasant demeanor about her, that made for friendly service. I would not go there if you are on a time constraint for lunch, It took a while for our food to come out(a sign that are meals were made to order). I was 20 minutes late back to work. The place inside was quaint and cozy, but dark with all the light coming in from the front windows. You know the«lets eat in the cave» light set up with that seems typical with most shopping strip restaurants. Well maybe it’s nicer at night with the inside lights setting the mood. I am looking forward to going back to try the«Sun Sun» Chinese menu, but I am gonna have to wait till the boss-man is on vacation to do try that one.

Pro: The place is nice with a comfortable seating. The menu offers the convenience of Stir Fry, pizzas, and a lot of in between styles. Con: The pizza is midwestern style with a butter crust. The toppings(Mushrooms, Pepperoni, and Italian sausage) and sauce are all flavor. The butter and a hint of cheddar cheese is the only flavor. The crusty was oily but nice crispy and doughy at the same time. Bottom line: I probably wouldn’t come back.
