Had the samurai bowl with ribeye, was good and definitely had a spicy kick to it. I ordered ribeye medium rare because I thought the steak was going to be thin slice like it is in Phở soup. It was actually more like thick cubes, so it was lil undercooked for me, but the dish had great flavor. Would definitely order again and get the ribeye medium next time. Ambience was nice and it was pretty empty for a Friday night around 8pm. Service was very attentive almost too much, but would prefer that over no check backs at all.

I think this place is a true gem in San Antonio. Hands down the best chili in the city and her dishes are always legit. Service is great and the food is fresh

This is one of our favorite weekday spots. So excited they serve Ramen now! It is a huge bowl of flavorful broth, chicken/shrimp, noodles and a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. My husband and I split one last night and it was just enough. Make sure to ask for some chili garlic sauce on the side. The chili nachos are the best nachos I’ve ever had. Wontons instead of chips, sliced and shredded cheese, delicious spicy chili. It is a big plate too. Fair warning, there are some hot chilis in there that I personally eat around. Other great options: Mark & Mike bowl(husband loves) and walnut shrimp. They had reasonably priced drinks too — full bar. If you use their hot chili oil, be careful. A few drops are more than enough no matter how high your heat tolerance. Staff is always friendly too.

Amazing food with a great atmosphere. The mark and mike bowl looks odd, but I promise that it is awesome! Will be back!!!

This is a hidden gem that offers great quality food and drinks as well as a great ambiance. Perfect place for a date night or even a night out with friends and family. I have yet to be disappointed with anything on the menu and the service is always on point. If you haven’t been here then you are missing out!

I went to the Pacific Moon with seven co-workers for lunch today 02−25−16. The atmosphere was great, lighting was nice, music was nice. We all ordered lunch items, mostly spicy chicken. After about 40 minutes only 4 of our party were served. Then after another 20 minutes when those 4 had completed their meal and their plates were removed the rest of us were served and my food was cold. We opted not to complain as we had already been there over 1 hour and had to go back to work. We all talked outside about never coming back. Granted sometimes things just happen. In this case it was enough to convince all of us not to return.

This place used to be amazing but has gone down really bad. cook has changed, they got new servers and lack experience. The food is mediocre I was served a crunchy over cook burger that was slapped with a cold slice of cheese on a cold bun. One of our orders was was not put in and told us after the rest of our table finished with our meals that it wasn’t ever included with our orders. The owners daughter started yelling in front of the customers on how we didn’t have to pay or take our order home if we weren’t happy with the service. She has no idea the customer is her livelihood. Yelling in front of her customers wasn’t professional. The food isn’t what it used to be. They are Asian and they don’t like to be told the order was badly cooked, it’s probably why she lost her temper.

Had the Mongolian burger and it is amazing. My last trip here I had the samurai bowl and it was amazing. I have only been here for lunch but I am sure dinner is fantastic as well. Only gripe are the scented candles. This could be just a personal preference but I dislike scented candles.

This place is just awesome. The chili was exactly what I had hoped it would be… beef chili, spicy, asian seasonings. I got won tons on the side and made my own nachos out of it.(The nachos the table split were amazing as well) I can’t wait to try additional menu items as it appeared I couldn’t go wrong. Our server was very nice, attentive, and appreciative of our business.

Always come back here for the samurai rice bowl. It is delicious with a good spicy kick that can be changed to milder if need be. Had the crab cakes once but they’re different than most places. They’re made in what a calamari batter would be made in. Overall great place for a first date with a full bar and great ambiance. Good lighting to set the atmosphere just right. Service has been great as well. Erin did a great job. She was knowledgeable and friendly as well.

Bar and grill environment… I was here as lunch… The back room by the restrooms has a lush and sultry couch. Lol. Looks like they might have a band that plays on the weekends. Food was pretty good. My husband has the ribeye bowl. Really good! I had the coconut shrimp. I won’t have it again. Too much bread like batter that over powered the shrimp. Everything else looks amazing.

Love love love the chili nachos. Skip the croissant sandwich. Processed cheese is no Bueno. Otherwise, great atmosphere, staff, bar and food.

I’ve been a fan of «Pac Moon» for sometime and it’s always been my local go to for some good food with excellent service and a friendly environment. The staff here make you feel like you are at a second home and take the time to learn your name and what your preferences are. They are very friendly and accommodating to whatever your needs may be, the drink and food are both excellent and they aim to please. It also helps that they are very beautiful women with great personalities but that’s my bias speaking lol. Come try the food and I’m sure you’ll make it a regular stop to relax after a hard days work.

Their best dish is the Yaki Taco — tempura battered tilapia and greens with mango salsa and wasabi honey mustard dressing on a tortilla. You can eat it as a salad, or make it into a wrap, but either way it’s fairly light and healthy with tons of flavor and texture. Well, it is when it’s available. I’ve tried to order this three more times since my initial visit long ago, but every time there’s some issue. The last few times, they’ve been out of tilapia because their chef hasn’t been able to find«good fish» from their supplier that is up to standards. That’s a great policy, but if you can’t consistently have an extremely inexpensive, popular fish, in the middle of summer, living just a couple hours from the coast, you need to find a new supplier. Until they can consistently make this dish, it should be removed from the menu and used as a daily special when available.

Really fresh greens and succulent fruits. Like they were just hand-picked at the prime of their ripeness, before serving to us. The ceviche was a little bit too spicy for me, it drowned out the flavor of the salmon. The place was small but place was not too packed to enjoy a quiet dinner on a cold Friday evening.

If you love vegetables with a little bit of spice, you won’t think twice after trying out their array of delicious healthy foods in a bowl or on a plate. Not to mention, their drinks go hand and hand. I had the Cucumber Martini, and it was a smooth drink that made me want two! The place is quaint and I love it. I almost love this better than Chinese food. And, let me tell you, Chinese food is my favorite of all dishes in America that is not even considered«authentic.» I’m going back as often as I can.

This is a great local neighborhood type haunt that I wish I had tried earlier. The signage on the outside might make you think it’s a Korean restaurant, but it can best be described as pacific fusion… think Chinese, Japanese, Korean, SE Asia, Pacific Island, Hawaiian, and a lil bit of West Coast USA. The atmosphere is pretty cozy, and it stays open late until 2am for a lounge kind of vibe, and Karaōke on Friday nights. What really impressed me right off the bat was that when we asked the bartender what was good, he said everything, because it’s all so fresh. They don’t have a freezer at all! Everything is fresh and scratch-made. We both tried the Crab Turnovers(homemade crab Rangoon basically) which come on a bed of mixed greens and a few dipping sauces. I had Kona Chicken Salad, which is ginormous! Think Cali-style salad with fruits but also with cashews and sesame. It comes with a delicious creamy coconut dressing on the side and a scoop of brown rice. My husband tried the Mongolian Burger, which he said he did not like, but I tried it and it was really yummy with great flavor! The bartender also told us about«Free Beef Soup Wednesdays»…not sure how I feel about free beef soup, but just FYI it happens on Wednesdays.
