Stopped in to get a bottle of Texas whiskey but came home with whiskey and craft beer. The selection is decent for liquors. You’ve got the regular party stuff and some good sipping liquors. I wish they’d label the Texas companies so I could compare and try local things more easily. The aisles were were labeled and it was easy to find what I was looking for. The prices are fair and their craft beer selection is growing. Saturdays from 3−6pm they have wine and craft beer tastings led by the daughter of the owners as well as some mixers whenever companies are pushing them to sell them. She mentioned that when she first started working the only thing they carried were coors and budlight. Judging by the craft stuff in stock, I think she has good taste. The fridges are stocked with Lips of Faith releases by New Belgium Brewing and stuff by Stone Brewing as well as other local releases. They have a bunch of Adelbert’s Brewing(Austin) stuff at great prices which already makes this a go-to place for me. Sure, I can go to a Spec’s for a greater selection but they don’t need my money as much as a local mom and pop shop does. The HEB’s around me don’t have a great choice in 1pt 6oz bottle choices either and no way am I driving all the way to Stone Oak for that pleasure. The prices here for beer were the cash only prices at Spec’s and the service was friendly and not pushy.

They’re very helpful there. A few times they’ve guided me towards the cheaper deal. I really like that every Saturday they have a small beer and wine tasting, also pick up my my bottle or beer while I’m there and have a really good time.
