The corn is delicious! The fruit, the shaved ice– I try to sample and try everything. The only downfall is that they don’t take credit cards– I would probably go more often if they did because I rarely carry cash. Would go back – out of all the corn in the cup in the area this place has the best flavor!

Fruteria next to Wu’s Chinese Kitchen on Judson. They have all the usuals corn in a cup, Raspas, cucumber snacks, and even corn chips in a bag concoctions like tostilocos. Today, I got a mangonada and it was smooth and delicious. It was a little dry but once they stirred that chamoy in it, it became juicy. They don’t speak any English, but there’s plenty of pictures on the walls; just don’t ask any extra questions, you might get something in your snowcone you don’t want. They are open on Mondays early un like a lot of these places around here that aren’t even open on Monday or they open after 4 o’clock.

This place had the best corn in the cup hands down. Since its in the same complex as my neighborhood watering hole, we end u ok here quite often. This is a cash only place so be cognisant of that. They have all kinds of mexican snacks including candy, raspas, nachos and cheese with nachos cheese and more. My favorite is the corn in a cup. It is heaven and a heart attack in one. Unlike most places that just fill up the cup with boiled corn and add a bit mayo and cream on top this place layers it. Yes you heard m3. Three layers of corn, then mayo and crema then parmesean is added until the cup is filled to the top. For 3 bucks you can’t really get a better deal. However it is very heavy and can take place of a meal. Nothing a bit walking and then socializing at leftys next door can’t fix though.

Legit 5 stars!!! We stumbled upon this place by accident but I’m so glad we did! I have been searching for good corn in a cup and Mexican snack food for a while near home. Not only is this place affordable but so delicious. The place itself is clean, colorful and has 2 tables to enjoy your treats. I like that it’s indoors, had accessible parking and that Most menu items are accompanied by a picture. Aside from the usual Mexican classics there are also some baked goods from a nearby bakery, Mexican candies, paletas, drinks, shaved ice, chips plus so much more. You know that phrase: «felt like a kid in a candy store»…well that’s the feeling I had. The bright colors and variety of items invite that little kid inside to munch out on some classic favorites, try new things and all while staying within your allowance lol Give this place a try, you’re bound to find that classic snack you like and maybe discover new items to enjoy.
