Just Cupcakes

I took my kids in for some cupcakes and the staff was very welcoming. The cupcakes were moist and delicious. I will be returning soon.

This is no Sprinkles Cupcakes, but for the price they aren’t bad. I got four cupcakes and three of them were a little dry I thought. Overall I would say they’re worth it for $ 2 each, and they have a good selection of flavors

Cute place, great service, great cupcakes with a large variety! I stopped on a whim after seeing this place many times. At $ 2 for a regular cupcake it was well worth the price for the quality!

Lot of selections to choose, I love sweets and I’m very disappointed all the time, but this shop got my approval I was very satisfied with each cupcake and I my favorite is the strawberry, but I love the red velvet too.
I will come back for sure.

Ehh, I wasn’t impressed. The cupcakes that I tried tasted like they came from a box. There was nothing special about them. I could’ve made these same cupcakes at home. The décor inside the place was cute and cozy and the staff was friendly. The selection of flavors was a bit limited. Overall, my experience was mediocre. (5÷26÷13)

In LOVE with this cupcake shop! All my mother asked for as a gift for her birthday was cupcakes from Just Cupcakes and although I had never been I knew I’d love it as soon as I walked in. The woman behind the counter was very welcoming, even whipping up a quick cupcake that a customer requested that had been sold out earlier in the day (talk about awesome customer service) and when I told her I was choosing cupcakes for my mother’s birthday she even offered to add an edible ‘Happy Birthday Mom!’ inside the box of goodies! I ordered the strawberry mixed with chocolate chip, coconut, german chocolate cake, pecan praline, red velvet and banana cream. I will say that the cupcakes filled with a cream or mixed with chocolate chips and real strawberries were more moist than the others, but I was not disappointed and neither was my mother! If you are looking for delicious cupcakes in the San Antonio area stop by Just Cupcakes!

I’ve been a couple of times. Most recently went on my birthday. There was a group of kids sitting around watching tv as I walked in. To my surprise one of he young men was actually working there. He was very nice. However the flavors on the board weren’t even for sale. I purchased 6 cupcakes: red velvet, Oreo, German chocolate, coconut, m&m, and carrot cake. German chocolate was delicious. Red velvet and carrot were a bit dry. Overall. The cupcakes were ok.

Was visiting in San Antonio and searched for «Cupcakes». Just Cupcakes was the closest. Even though we arrived about 20 minutes to closing, the staff was beyond courteous .The selection was good and the cupcakes were delicious! Took some to go as well! If you’re in the area, definitely check them out! Ask for Jacob or Audrey.

I am in LOVE with this place. My co-​worker and I went on a cupcake testing spree in hopes of finding a place to use for a birthday party. This place was hands down the best. We ended up ordering an assortment of 36 cupcakes for the party and there was not one person that was disappointed. Their «filled» cupcakes are the best! I did have one flavor that I thought was just OK but for the most part, they very flavorful. The frostings are usually something special too. For instance the strawberry frosting has strawberries in it. The boston cream (which is my favorite so far) has a nice glaze of chocolate which is perfect for this particular cupcake. The cupcakes are $ 2.00 each which I think is very reasonable considering the love that goes into each one. I thought this was actually the same price as a sheet cake at Target or HEB and this way I could get a bunch of different flavors for my guest to pick from. I am totally sold on this place!

First time walking in I thought wow, cute little cupcake shop… I was a little disappointed on the selection, there wasn’t much to choose from. What I specifically wanted they didn’t have, but then the baker said he can get some from the back, I thought oh good! When I went to pay, I was a little shocked at the price, $ 2 for basic size cupcakes. Thought that was kinda pricey. Should’ve just gone to HEB and gotten at least a dozen for that price. The taste wasn’t anything special, and it just had basic icing squeezed on top. And by the time I got home with the cupcakes they were tipped over in the big box they gave me, and smudged icing everywhere. Wish they would’ve at least had individual boxes for each cupcake for the prices they charge for them anyway. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

Absolutely love these little treats! The cake is insanely moist and the frosting is never too sweet. Interesting flavors too. My personal favorite has to be the Blue Mooner. AMAZING!

The cupcakes tasted like they came from a box. They didn’t have the made from scratch taste. It’s ok to for a quick sugar fix or if you don’t feel like opening your own box of cake mix and turning on the oven.

Me & my son love the cupcakes from here. Especially the red velvet and light cream cheese frosting for me and the Chocolate with Oreo Frosting cupcake for my little guy. At first I was a little skeptical, the first go around I wasn’t too impressed the cakes were initially dry and frosting felt like they’d been sitting out.
But I was majorly jonesing for something sweet and didn’t want to go out of my way for a cupcake. So I decided to give it another try. This time ANOTHER girl i didn’t catch her name, but she was black and beautiful and soooo sweet!!! I ordered the same ½ doz I get just in case others at home want something and was pleasantly SURPRISED!
Cake was moist and the frosting wasn’t too sweet, it tasted fresh and on top of that sweet customer service. I’ll be honest, not a fan of the décor in the store — i’m just not a bright pink kind of girl but for a good cupcake i’ll sit through the décor for a few minutes. ^_^

i went there a couple weeks ago with my kids and well i had high hopes for this place but was pretty disappointed. not even my kids liked them. they were pretty but the actual cake was a bit dry and frosting a tad too sweet. they almost had a store bought cupcake quality to them.

Delicious! took my 2 year old daughter for a treat and was plaesantly surprised. the icing was rich and the cupcake wasmoist. I had the chocolate and it was to die for! have been twice and plan to try every flavor. The décor is really cute and fitting too. i would recommend this little gem to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Best cupcakes in San Antonio! About once a month I go and get a half dozen cupcakes for the house and they don’t last 24 hours! I recommend the strawberry filled cupcake, delicious!!!

Loved the cupcakes! Decided to go based on other review. Got 6 different cupcakes in assorted flavors to try. Cupcakes are $ 1.50 a piece and if you buy 5 you get one free. Cupcakes are moist, frosting is delicious, but be warned it is a lot of frosting. They do have several with a ganash type frosting that is perfect if you don’t want to have a sugar rush for the next several days. They also offer coffee, and is a wifi spot if you want to stick around and relax. Have to say that margarita was my favorite flavor!

Cupcakes? Who da thot? I will only eat cupcakes if they come from Just Cupcakes on Marbach Rd.:Hunt Lane. I have never had such a delicious twist of sweet. It is just sweet enough to take the edge of the craving but still leaves me yearning for more. I prefer the Nutter Butter Peanut Butter. YUMMY!
