Had a double meat chili cheese burger… And it was hands down one of if not the best and freshest burger I’ve had. Super clean and worth it. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, and it hasn’t changed one bit. They’re known for their seafood, but the burgers are just as tasty! Maybe a few item changes here and there, but the flavor and cleaniness hasn’t changed. Today my co-workers and I grabbed fish to go. I ordered a one piece fish and fry combo with 3 shrimp. It’s just as delicious as I remember. I also would recommend their fish sandwiches. They’re huge and full of flavor. They also sell wings which I haven’t tried, so that will be my next venture. They have a small drive thru as well in case you don’t want to dine in. The dining area is small and it gets packed during lunch so be aware of that. Unfortunately they don’t have a menu online but it is quite extensive. So if you’re on the southside, make sure to stop by this old gem!

Great lamb wrap and hamburgers. The fish is not bad either. Sweet tea is refreshing. I would go back.

This place has been around longer than I can remember! My father would pick up fish here many times a month during my childhood years! When I left the nest I starting bringing my family here and have been for many years! The flavor has not changed! I would recommend both the fish and shrimp!

A co-worker said this place had good burgers so i went by today. Only 2 tables had customers cuz it wasn’t busy but all other empty tables had trash & food bits all over. Trash can by door overflowing. I hoped despite being slobs they still might make a good burger so i decided to stick around and order. I ordered the«steak burger» & was told it came w mayo but that they could sub mustard instead. Even the receipt showed no mayo & add mustard. When item came out i got 2 suprises. First there was no mustard & it was covered in mayo. Second it wasn’t a hamburger at all — some sort of deep fried meat. The«steak burger» is actually chicken fried steak. Of course there’s nothing on the menu to differentiate. I made the risky assumption that a so called«steak burger» would be a hamburger like Freddy’s or any other place that sells«steak burgers» and not a chicken fried steak sandwich — as it is called on earth. Since I wasted $ 6 on it I decided to eat it. I took it back to the counter and lady saw she messed it up by putting on mayo so she took it and brought it back w mustard a few minutes later. I took 2 bites & called it quits. Chicken fried steak patty was over cooked and dripping with grease and oil so much so that it sogged the bun through. The meat was tough stringy and chewy not tender at all. Had to spit piece out that couldn’t be chewed. Tasted like bad homemade CFS recipe that wasn’t tenderized right. I put the«Steak Burger» back in cardboard and threw away — which was hard since it was overflowing with so much trash that the lid was forced open. The 2 bites i took gave me heartburn from being so oily n greasy. Not sure if oil was clean based on odd taste. Quik Summary: — Dining area filthy even when slow. — Overflowing customer trash w food falling out — Food prepared/served wrong. — Food tough/greasy/non-chewable — Lazy employees who don’t care Why would anyone want this for a dining experience?

If I could give half a star I would. This place use to be really good back in the day… The service sucks… The young lesbian chick in front as a cashier is always cussing and fighting with her girlfriend at the drive thru window… The food made me sick… I ordered a chili cheese burger. The chili smelt horrible as if it had been there all week… I will never return… Hope this review helps…

Dirty’s dine in area I have eating in a long time. Tables look like they have not been clean in months, trash can was over flowing. Will not eat there again.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I love mom n pop and hole in the wall places, so I thought this one had the potential to be really good. But it wasn’t great at all. Burgers were very THIN frozen patties. The two burgers were made with ONE small tomato slice, and it was the END piece– with SKIN and all on both. Onion rings were ok. Too thick of batter though. And not fresh. The Fish looked like square frozen fish patties. Very thin and no flavor. The fried oysters were ok, not great. And the fried shrimp was about the best thing we had there, even those tasted like the frozen breaded shrimp out of the box. All of the seafood had the same batter/coating.(Which is a pet peeve of mine. Oyster batter should be diff then the fish/shrimp batter. Not all fried food should be created equally!!) Crispy dogs were generic hot dogs with generic cheese wrapped with a corn tortilla and fried. Food wasn’t gross, as all five of us finished eating. But definitely won’t be back. Everyone was nice and Service was good. Too bad it wasn’t the dive I was expecting.

Went to go eat some fish from the place. Order the fish basket. Comes with two fish, two shrimp some fries and bread. Fish is not bad. Now for the fries were soggy not fresh. Might go back and try something else next time.

As far as i know this place has been around for several decades… per my parents. Everyone came here… and now their family all come here. i came here on a Friday for Lent. The special for Lent was a Large Fish sandwich, large tea, fries $ 6.99. WHOA!!! That had to be the Biggest largest Fish sandwich I’ve ever seen in my life. And Soooooo Gooood, Hot and Fresh. Apparently the Sweet Tea here is big hit. The customers in the diner area wanted refills of Tea and they had to wait 15 mins for more to be made. The car loads of people walking in wanted tea also. So i ended up getting a Big Red and a Sprite. And when you get a Large Drink… It is a Large Drink. After Getting my order I asked if i could get a tea… unfortunately she had already filled the drinks with the soda. So i just kept it as is. The Menu is Huge. I saw one lady walk out with a Chocolate Shake. Needless to say i will return for a burger and shake.

Don’t let the exterior fool you. This is the place to go for awesome seafood and kickass burgers. All for a decent price of course. Take out or dine in, whatever the choice is yours. It does get packed on Fridays and Saturdays.
