This store is a gem. Hidden in the back of Artisan’s Alley(for now — they’re moving very soon) it opens to a world of specialty stationary and gift ideas. At this stage in my life, I find myself often in the need of great stationary and invitations. Nearly everyone I know is either getting married, buying houses, having babies or throwing parties for milestone birthdays. And Finders Keepers has an outstanding selection of one-of-a-kind invites that they will customize to fit any need. And if you’re not especially creative, the staff here will come up with unique and wonderful ideas to help you make your event stand out. In the same vein, this store is a great spot to find special hostess gifts should you find yourself on the receiving end of a great shower or party. I love this store. I love its Artisan’s Alley location. They are relocating soon.(Because of this if you hurry in asap they have all their great merchandise on mega sales.) I’m excited for what is yet to come for them and will post a review update of their new space stat!

This store is fantastic for a hostess gift, a «thinking of you» keepsake or to pick up just a little something to brighten your day. I often visit Finders Keepers after enjoying a Sat. lunch at Bin 555 as nothing is better than shopping after having had a few glasses of wine in the daytime. During my three visits in 2009, I purchased the following. An unframed, yet matted colorful cartoon print of a black cat peeking out of a cardboard box. This reminded me of one of our cats, so I purchased it, put it in a frame and now it hangs in the hallway and makes me smile. — PHOTO A painted block with two characters, male and female, with the line«I would rather do nothing with you than something with anyone else». A cute peice that sits on top of a shadow box on a wall in our living room. A door handle hang that reads, «One of the hardest thing to realize is that our someday is right now.» Finders also has magnets, stationary, candles and so many other colorful, girly and creative peices. One of the best seasons to visit is during the winter holidays when Finders and many other stores offer treats and coffees. I found the staff to be kind, asking me «Oh, did you find a treasure today?!» as I approached to pay for my finds. One of my visits was just about 10 minutes before closing time and even then they informed me of the time, but were kind.

I gave this place four stars only because of the amazing amount of different things. The employees were incredibly rude. The minute I walked in I took a picture at the amazing spread of the store and was from then on out followed around the store like I was a thief. One of the employees actually said«Do you need something?» really rudely. If you look past my experience you’ll see that this place is crazy. Tons of great lamps and furniture. They have a stationary section in the back of the store. They also have seasonal collections in the middle of the store. I could spend a very long time in there just checking everything out. Maybe next time I go I wont be followed around.

Um, wow. What doesn’t this store have, really? I mean, sure, they miss out on a few necessary items, like milk and underpants, but besides that, they’ve really got it covered. Let’s play a little game called you name it and I tell you, «It’s at Finder’s Keepers!» Okay, here we go. Candles in a dizzying array of scents? Check. Adorable, yet feminist, magnets? Sure thing. Vintage Halloween posters from Hitchcock’s The Birds? Definitely. Cupcake toothpicks with pirate décor? Yup. Furniture, mirrors and chandeliers? Yes, ma’am, they’re at Finder’s Keepers. Ah, that was fun. This store, which looks to be a little invitation shop, is certainly more than that. Prices are a little high, but the items in this place are so darned cute and unique that I don’t mind. Seriously, where else can you find toothpicks for your pirate parties? I’ve searched long and hard, friends, and the answer is nowhere but here.

Such a cute store! They do offer more than just invitations here. Purses, personalized gifts, cards, and novelty items. I found a very couture business card holder and got one for my bestest. =) The ladies are nice and are always asking if you’re okay and if there’s anything they can help you with. I’m definitely coming back here for some gifts for my girls — especially when we get ready to go to the islands — they had some hand painted martini glasses we could definitely take advantage of during our trip! ;)
