Courtyard San Antonio North/Stone Oak at Legacy

I am very glad I only stayed here for one night. I try to always stay at Courtyard Marriott’s every time I travel. I am a member and holds the Marriott to a high standard. The customer service is always great, so I will give them that. As soon as you walk in you’re always greeted by someone friendly and helpful. You are usually always able to check right in early and check out late if you need to as well. The food there is always terrible, the same person who makes coffee makes alcoholic drinks and makes the food. They’re all trained but I wouldn’t go there for food. I’ve had one bad experience already. Breakfast is OK but I wouldn’t do lunch or dinner. The room was spacious, but that is about all I liked about it. There was a refrigerator, that part I always like. What I didn’t like about it, is that the bedsheets are very itchy. I got super nervous that it had something to do with bedbugs, which is a big fear of mine. Turns out I think my skin was just dry and didn’t cooperate well with the bedsheets. I hope they were washed. Also, the night that I stay there, there was tons of noise directly above me. It sounded like somebody was doing CrossFit exercises and dropping weights. I had to call downstairs and ask what the deal is. The front desk said that there was a drunk guy staying directly above me who they had to carry up. I don’t know if he was just a big guy falling but it totally made me lose all my sleep. Overall, as I usually write really great reviews about Marriotts that I stay at, this was not a special stay for me whatsoever. Also, there is really nothing around the hotel either. There’s a plaza right across the street that has a few different things, but it’s not very safe to walk too. Especially at night. I know there’s a Marriott that is near Riverwalk, and I wish I had stayed at that one. Next time!

This is the most unimpressive hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. Unfortunately it’s extremely close to the account I’m implementing. FYI I’ve stayed in this hotel before and had a much nicer room. I asked them to move me and this is the second crappy room I ended up with. The hotel just feels filthy everywhere.

I can’t say this is the worst but certainly not the best hotel stay. The room was not clean, there were public hairs on the toilet… beyond gross. And dog hair all over the room. The bed was comfy so I slept well nit I just can’t get over the uncleantliness of the room

When you spend better than 300 days a year with this chain you expect better. The staff is rude to say the least. Hotel is not clean and IMHO is an embarrassment to the Marriott name.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel and had a great experience. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. I’m a fan of some firmer pillows but it’s hard to please everyone’s preferences. The blackout shades in the room made it feel like it was the middle of the night at 9 am so it was great to relax and sleep in.
There’s no complementary breakfast here but they do have a little café downstairs with breakfast food and Starbucks coffee that was priced reasonably well. I believe they serve lunch as well?
Great location, short distance from the airport and easy access to 1604 and 281. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice hotel. Joanna is right – if you are going to stay at an airport hotel for a cheaper rate, expect noise from the airport – duh! We had been warned by Unilocalers, so we arrived and asked for a room on the non-​airport side, and the front desk staff seemed hesitant at first, (perhaps because we had booked at a discount online,) but granted our wish and the room was very nice. Only problem is these d$#@*& Texas access roads, which take a lot of getting used to, and our GPS likes to go a little postal on getting us there. But Siri did, and it worked. Staff was very nice – modern arrangement of the front desk in two parts was different. Renovation was very well done and the room was very comfortable, and we were not bothered by airport noise. We would stay here again anytime. Only had time to arrive, sleep and leave the next morning on a cross-​country road trip.

I wish I had read the reviews before staying here. Mediocre staff, lipstick on coffee mug in room, ac blasting at 63 degrees, broken hair dryer, and overpriced burger from Bistro was horrible! Gross!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Parking is an absolute nightmare — NEVER any spots except in the very back of an unlit parking lot with no sidewalks to walk around to the front on. Staff is unhelpful and rude. And it usually takes until 3pm or later to get your room clean. Use to stay here all the time but the service has become so bad that I will not be returning.

terrible service. poorly managed and run. almost everyone that worked there was extremely rude and uninterested in their customers having even a decent experience.
confirmed twice that breakfast was part of the friday night rate. at breakfast they ran out of potatoes AND toast. Was not informed when I placed my order, but did hear them tell the person after me. When my plate was brought out (after about 20 minutes for eggs and bacon), no mention of anything missing. I had to go ask and then they informed me they were out and offered to replace with fruit. when checking out, tried to charge us $ 30 for breakfast. lady was very rude when asked about it and just instructed someone else to take it off. didn’t apologize or even acknowledge we were there. only pleasant experience was the young man that drove the shuttle. he was very polite and no doubt could do a better job running that place then the current manager.

It’s the typical Courtyard. Good service at the bar and front staff is as trained as expected. Food is expensive in the Bistro and the rooms are poorly maintained for the price. If the location suits you, go for it. If you want better bang for the buck try the Holiday Inn down the block.

This place has the best staff of any hotel I have stayed at… and I travel every week… the place is always clean and I amazingly feel like I am home. I can’t say enough about how great the staff is to make it fell that way. I wish I could put this hotel in every city that I travel to.

I’m over 1000 nights lifetime in Marriot hotels across the country. This one had the new sheen knocked off way too fast. It is the nicer setup though, bigger shower w/​seat and room w/​wardrobe closet and mini fridge.
Turn-​offs: Found a lot of extra hair in my bathroom and some crazy bug woke me up. Decided to run this am; gym is well appointed with free weights, 2 treadmills, elliptical and bike. Nice to see exercise ball and mats too. However, it was filthy. No sanitizing wipes or spray bottles anywhere. Tons of sticky sweat on the treadmills alone which tells me to stay away from the mats and weights.
Will not stay here again. I’ve stayed many times at the springhill suites (another Marriot property) just down the road by the San Antonio airport — I will go back to that one, also considering the gym is just as nice and it’s 40% less money too.
