While the business is new, our staff has many years of automotive experience — especially the ASE Master Certified technicians on our team. Our shop owner, Chad Miller, has over 15 years of automotive experience, and his beginnings were in quality assurance. That’s why you can count on us getting the job done right the first time

Went here on the advice of a co-​worker (and because they’re close to my home) They did a great job and I felt they repaired what was needed at a good, fair price. I will go back for all my future service needs. I have never left a garage feeling as good about what I paid for what was done.

If i could rate higher than 5 stars i definitely would! I chose to be a customer of Chad Miller Auto Care based on previous Unilocal reviews and they all proved to be true! Immediately I received excellent and friendly customer service. Estimates were very fair and i didn’t once feel as though i would be overcharged for things i didn’t need. Honest advice was given and honest service was done. As for the repairs on my car, everything was finished with superior care and rather quickly! I was quoted about 1 – 1 ½ hours and was actually in and out in about 20 minutes. They provide all auto services and repairs except for paint & body. I will definitely be a returning customer and will recommend Chad Miller Auto Care to friends and family.

Never posted a review on anything before, but the service here warrants one. After calling 5 other shops, they are the only ones that would actually work on my vehicle. They performed the work professionally, quickly, and at a fair price. Not to mention excellent customer service. Would recommend them to anyone!

I ended up not having my issue resolved after I came in twice. Why the high rating? These guys have integrity and are trustworthy. To those who don’t know much about auto care, these are important traits. I understand that your average shop is going to have issues working on a 41 year old car that was made to be unlike other cars. It’s the downside to owning such a cool car like the 74 VW Super Beetle. For many issues, you need someone who specifically works on that model and time frame. They didn’t pretend to fix my car and they didn’t just try to squeeze money out of me. Were I to have a more typical vehicle, this would be my go-​to shop in San Antonio.

I don’t ever take the time to learn how to write a review. But, after making the long haul back to the east side of town and realizing that I left my movie rentals back at Chad Miller’s shop and then finding a voicemail waiting for me, notifying me that he had the videos and offering to return them, with my permission, so that I did not to drive all the way back just to get them. Now, that is going above and beyond to give exceptional service.
I went in without an appointment to have a tune up and my brakes checked. They worked me right into their schedule. No work was done without first explaining why it would be necessary and a accurate price charge for the parts and service. I was even shown where the damage was.
Chad was professional and personable. He knew returning customers names and even their spouses (that weren’t even present) names. He was aware of who needed rides and offered to give me a ride to the deli down the street for lunch since I was stuck waiting for my car to be serviced.
I can’t say enough good things about the kind service he extended to everyone of his customers since I ended up sitting in his waiting area for 7 hours. Even his waiting area and restrooms were clean and comfortable.
I will be a loyal customer!

My wife’s SUV wasn’t working properly over the holidays andI needed to find a place to fix it quick. Having read some previous reviews I decided to stop in and see the place. I was met by the owner (CM) as he was getting ready to wrap it up for Xmas. I received a good price he kept her SUV locked up and secured until they were able to get it fixed. I was well informed during the whole process and her truck is working fine… Thank You Chad for a job well done!

Took my sons girlsfriends car here because car was overheating. We took it in and they diagnosed a cracked radiator. They were able to get it fixed the next day. The price was great. We felt they were professional and honest. Will DEFINATELY use them for any future need.

I’m not a professional Unilocaler. It takes something really impressive — or dumb — to inspire me to write a review. Chad Miller inspired me today with his exceptional approach to business and customer care.
I thought I needed a brake job on the CC (heard some squeaks and the ride wasn’t as smooth anymore). I had used CM before on an oil change and tire rotation, and he struck me as a fair guy, so I called him for the brakes. He quoted me a super fair price on the phone (on the phone!) so I brought it in.
A couple of hours later, Chad called me and told me I didn’t need brakes — he said he wouldn’t feel right replacing brakes with so much life left in them. He said he would check the bushings and suspension, then on the next phone call told me I didn’t need those, either. Turns out I need tires.
All in all, Chad had the opportunity to preform a lot of work I didn’t need. I would not have known. Instead, he charged me for a half-​hour of time — less than $ 50. Talk about integrity!
Then, to top it all off, he referred me to a great «hookup» for new tires and a new windshield. I contacted both of those vendors, and they both quoted me prices far below their competitors.
It was such an impressive experience that Chad Miller is my mechanic now. Judging by all the other 5-​star reviews, I’m not the only one.

These guys are wonderful. I read the reviews on Unilocal and thought I would give it a try. I went in for an oil change but also wanted them to check on a noise I was hearing. Chad took care of me and explained everything. I left my car and a couple hours later relieved a text with a full report of my car. I called in and talked thought my repairs with Chad. He explained everything and quoted me a price for the worst possible scenario, explaining that if it was cheaper he wouldn’t charge me that price.
I ended up taking my car home because I couldn’t afford the repair, but I was completely convinced to give future business to Chad Miller. I highly recommend them!

Let’s just say, I am a HUGE fan of this place! The manager, Chad, is a very personable man. I was recommended to them by Kevin, the assistant manager from Discount Tires, and was pleasantly surprised. I went in thinking that this was a small mom and pop auto shop, but to my surprise I found myself facing a quirky, modern auto shop plastered in orange and teal.
I went here to fix my wheel bearing issue that has been bothersome for the past few months and finally couldn’t bear the noise any longer so I got my quote and found myself here. I made myself an appointment for 8 am and let them do their magic. I decided to stay till 2:30pm, which was the estimated completion time and they finished around 4pm? Needless to say it was a long day staying at the auto shop. I was however able to get a lot of research and wedding planning done so I didn’t mind waiting.
A great perk to this shop was that they do offer a 10% Unilocal discount and $ 49.95 on an alignment as long as you get recommended to them by discount tires. AND last but not least, they do offer complimentary drop off service! (Next time, I may have to take them up on that offer ha)
Prices were fair, auto care techs were very personable, and complimentary coffee and drinks. All in all, I was VERY pleased with their services and will be returning! Thanks Chad!

Very pleasantly surprised to finally find an excellent auto maintenance shop in the I-​10 & DeZavala area. Chad is very personable and straightforward, as well as knowledgeable in servicing vehicles AND communicating with customers. The same goes for his co-​workers.
I asked them to perform a «bumper to bumper» inspection of my truck and they provided (emailed me!) a detailed and easy to read & understand report of their findings. Absolutely no pressure to sell services. They just provided informative facts and left it to me to research and decide. Very refreshing.
They performed suspension and general tune-​up work on my truck at a reasonable cost, in a timely manner, and with all work and pricing discussed before starting. They’ve got my future business!

I had a minor but annoying problem with my car. The splashguard had been pulled off by a curb in the parking lot. Had I taken it to the dealership, I’m sure they would’ve charged me a pretty penny. But Chad came out, took one look, and then fixed it while I waited. He wouldn’t even accept payment.
I am now a customer for life!
